Eternal God Emperor

: Write a single chapter response!

It was originally expected at the beginning of the year to finish the book in August or September, but because the writing was so slow this year, I could only update 60,000 to 70,000 words a month, so I am still finishing the work.

Updates are slow. Let’s shamelessly look for the objective reasons first:

First, this book has nearly 14 million words, and it took more than eight years to write. It was really too long, and the whole thing was like a computer with too many things stored in it, running slower and slower.

There are too many characters, treasures, techniques, magical powers, plots, clues, details... and hundreds of different relationships between different characters to be remembered in my mind.

To give an example, this short story about Biluo Pass has dozens of characters written at the same time.

1. The relationship between Tianhuang and Dihuang monks. 2. The relationship between the Meng family and the Eight Tribes. 3. The past and present lives of mortal world and Brahma. 4. The cause and effect of Brahma and the Meng family. 5. The story of the Sixth Patriarch, Gandharva and Ksitigarbha. 6. The grudge between Shang Tian and Huang Tian. 7. Zhang Ruochen’s purpose of coming to Biluo Pass. 8. The cause and effect of Shang Tian and Babu's conformity. 9. Precious Seal Ksitigarbha and Tanduo Ksitigarbha follow the eight groups. 10. The fourth Confucian ancestor and the pursuit of ignorance...

Let’s list ten first!

This short story should have more than twenty lines to write. Each character has his own independent story, and there are even more conflicts and story lines between characters.

There are so many characters in this book, and the entire worldview is estimated to have nearly a thousand characters' stories developing and evolving over time.

Therefore, every time I write a chapter now, I almost have to write a detailed outline of more than a thousand words and keep sorting it out.

It can be said that "Eternal God Emperor" may not be very well written, but it is definitely the most difficult book to write in the entire online literary circle in my opinion.

The difficulty of writing lies in the fact that you cannot write randomly. You must write a certain story and readability based on the huge world view and complex character relationships.

At present, the total number of follow-up orders for "Eternal God Emperor" from Qidian and Qidian is about 100,000. In the entire online literary circle, there are only a few serialized books.

For a book with more than 5 million words, I don’t know if there are more than 100,000 back-orders. Anyway, a serial book with more than 10 million words should not have a 100,000 follow-up subscription, and "The Eternal God Emperor" is probably the only one.

Of course, Qidian and He only account for a small part of the readers of "Eternal God Emperor", less than half.

If the number of all follow-up readers is counted, "The Eternal God Emperor" will most likely be the number one read, including all the books in Qidian.

The above are all my guesses.

Readers' follow-up reading is the greatest affirmation of the book. To maintain such a large number of follow-up readers, you must not write randomly. Readers who write randomly will not read it!

Therefore, the second objective reason is that no matter how slow the update is, the book, characters and plot must be stabilized. The pace cannot be too fast or too slow.

In terms of the plot, you should never worry about the unfinished ending. A book of more than 10 million words may have many small holes, but the author has been writing for eight years and must understand the book better than the readers, and will definitely give readers a better understanding of the book. A satisfactory answer from readers who have been reading it for several years.

Every time a chapter is written, many readers speculate about the next plot.

If he guesses correctly, he will say that the author copied his idea. If you guess wrong, tell the author to change the outline. Unless you don't guess, you can't escape these two results.

In fact, it’s not necessary!

Every time the author writes a plot, he will definitely lay out many foreshadowings. Being able to guess the follow-up means that you read the book seriously and really love it, so your analysis is correct.

But a book needs not only suspense, but also reversal, a reversal within the foreshadowing. So, even if you don't guess correctly, it's only in the author's design.

Writing a novel itself is to tease the reader's psychology and emotions. If you fail to do this, the book will not be readable.

Some readers still think of characters who have been written about many times in the book as new characters, appearing for the first time.

Some readers feel that some plots that have been written many times are repetitive and wordy, while others feel that they are imposed settings.

This cannot be reconciled!

Just like the plot of the last two chapters, 90% of it is actually the content of the previous chapters. It is an integration of all the clues. But many readers still feel that these things were written only now and were arranged temporarily.

I've analyzed the reasons, and I don't blame anyone, it's my own problem.

The update is too slow, and the timeline of the plot is too long. I am very grateful to the readers who can remember the entire plot. You are definitely the most loyal readers of "Eternal God Emperor".

Readers who cannot remember the character clues and story line are actually normal readers, the majority of people. Including myself, I have to read the previous chapters over and over again.

Because it really took too long, was too slow, and was too complicated to write.

This is the author's problem, and I humbly accept all criticism.

The objective reasons for slow updates have been analyzed, and then there are the subjective reasons.

The subjective reason is something I can't avoid. I really didn't work hard enough and was slacking off. After finishing this book, we will talk about this issue slowly.

Finally, let’s talk about some of the confusions that people have had about the recent plot.

First, are Brahma Heart and Hades Ancestor good and the other bad?

The answer is that there is no absolute good or bad, their fates are bound together.

Second, whitewash Shangtian and Gandharva?

Answer: There is no one to whitewash! Because a good person must have a reason for being a good person, and a bad person must have a reason for becoming bad. Again, there is no absolute good or bad in "Eternal God Emperor".

If anyone is cleared, UU Reading www. uukanshu. com It must have only written about the reasons why he (she) became bad and the logic of what he (she) did. It's impossible for bad people to be born to do bad things, right?

Third, why write the plot between Tianhuang and Huihai?

Answer: This is the plot that must be written, and the whole book will end here. That’s half a spoiler!

Fourth, has Ming Zu been weakened?

Answer: Every immortal is very terrifying, not only because of their cultivation, but also because of their wisdom. Everything you see now is just what He wants you to see. You think He is weak, but He wants you to think He is weak.

Whoever laughs last is the winner.

So far, the entire world of the Eternal God Emperor is still under the control of the immortals. They are very awake, more awake than anyone else.

Fifth, why is it written that Zhang Ruochen can restore his cultivation level with just one thought?

Answer: This was the original setting. I wrote it at the moment when I was ready to recover my cultivation. However, I really couldn’t bear the criticism from readers, so I wrote it in advance.

No matter whether the readers scolded me or scolded me for the slow pace, I never compromised and didn't want to explain. After all, writing a book based on the readers' ideas would definitely lead to failure. I always insisted on writing at my own pace. This time, it’s a compromise!

Of course, it is also because the protagonist will recover his cultivation level immediately, so the impact is not that big.

Sixth, the word "He" is used a lot and does not refer to anyone in particular. As long as the gender is not yet known in the book, and as long as the character is mysterious enough, "He" will be used instead.

Finally, there are too many characters and too many story lines. Interested readers can follow the WeChat public account "Flying Fish". Old fans know that this public account has been serialized for many years and the story lines of new characters are compiled every day.
