Divine Emperor of Death

3229 Bandit Emperor?

After an hour, Davis and the others finally went through the number of resources they plundered.

Naturally, there were traps set up in the spatial rings, but he destroyed every single one of them, and for the ones he couldn't, Myria appeared and deciphered the spirit formations inside them. With every spatial ring and life ring unsealed, they even managed to save some immortals and transcendents who were captured.

During this time, the Empyreal Monarchs and the others were totally ignored.

If they tried to talk, he would send a bolt of annihilative lightning, causing them to scream before they ended up unconscious again.

For a few individuals like the Mistwalker Family's Lambert and Layla, he fried them if they even dared to open their eyes. The only surviving member of their Family was the guy whom they left at the veil deployed near the central region where the realm concoction venue was located.

Davis wondered how that idiot was going to retrieve them.

He also wondered if he should release Lest Mistwalker's little sister, Lyra Mistwalker, but if he did that, he knew she would be ostracized or punished on the grounds of colluding with him or her brother, so he kept her like that, sealed and restricted that she nor anyone could barely make any movements without alerting the senses of the hawk-eyed female guards surrounding them.

Nonetheless, his eyes were gleaming for over a few minutes as he finally tallied the value of the resources he obtained.

For beginners, a Low-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Treasure could sell for anywhere between 1,000 High-Level Immortal Crystals and 1,000,000 High-Level Immortal Crystals.

In the same way, a Mid-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Treasure could sell for anywhere between 100,000 High-Level Immortal Crystals and 100,000,000 High-Level Immortal Crystals. That was already a hundred million for a resource that's between Level Four to Level Six Immortal Emperor Stage.

For Level Seven to Level Nine Immortal Emperor Stage, treasures at the High-Level Immortal Emperor Grade could very well sell for 10,000,000 High-Level Immortal Crystals or even 100,000,000,000 High-Level Immortal Crystals! That was over a hundred billion High-Level Immortal Crystals, and Davis had hundreds of High-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Treasures, even Peak-Level ones, although there were only a few of them.

Together, he valued them at more than one trillion to two trillion High-Level Immortal Crystals approximately!

In sheer numbers, that was a whooping number of digits that would cause any pair of eyes to swirl in ecstasy, drool practically coming out of their mouths.

Even in liquid, he had around eight hundred and fifty billion High-Level Immortal Crystals with him at this moment, excluding the Fragments and Vein Cores. This was separate from the resources he obtained, so he could almost have an additional trillion plus with him, unable to believe the amount of wealth these young masters, ruler-level characters were holding that he could only imagine how much he would have if he plundered the geniuses of all the Upper Realms here.

Davis was so moved, like a true Bandit Emperor, that he couldn't help but turn his sights on the distant Transcendents, who were probably still coming up with a way to exchange these captives for treasures, making him wonder how much wealth he was going to gain additionally.

Furthermore, he inclined his head to look at the miserable silhouettes of the Transcendents he tortured a bit for attacking his people, wondering if they were hiding anything else.

If they were…

'Well, would taking that away also induce a tremor in fate…?'

Davis wondered, shaking his head.

"So, how many Transcendent Crystals have you obtained?"

Davis turned to look at Fairy Thunderblaze, who asked him.

With the shift of cultivation systems from the Immortal Cultivation Method to the Transcendent Cultivation Method, the Immortal Crystals were also naturally addressed as Transcendent Crystals in the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy, a sign of economic and cultural transformation, so he wasn't confused when she said Transcendent Crystals.

Nonetheless, it caused a teasing smile to emerge on his face.

"You want a share or something?"

"I…" Fairy Thunderblaze glared at him, "I don't need it. However, you do owe me for this, so get my annihilative heavenly flames faster."

Davis looked at her hand and saw that it was pale and flawless. From Sophie, he knew she also took part in the battle and gave Myria enough time to counterattack and even dealt the final blow. Now, he saw that her external wounds appeared to have healed, perhaps only leaving the internal wounds, which might take some time.

"I can't share much since I have so many people to look after, but would half a trillion High-Level Immortal Crystals and a few High-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Resources suffice?"

"…"

Davis asked, leaving Fairy Thunderblaze stunned as her pupils dilated.

The silence was particularly resounding at that moment that it even awakened the Transcendents who were acting asleep, leaving them sneakily peeking at the ridiculous negotiation unfolding between them.

"A-Are you serious?"

Fairy Thunderblaze finally replied after a few seconds, her brows severely twitching.

Half a trillion High-Level Immortal Crystals? Even in the past, before she went deep asleep, she hadn't amassed ten percent of that wealth in her lifetime. To be suddenly met with these words shook her heart.

Davis kept a laidback smile. He had also never seen this kind of wealth, not even having one percent of it before he entered this Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm, so his words shocked his women beyond compare.

"Naturally, I'm serious as I heard that you were necessary for the battle to have ended this way. However, you said that you didn't want it, so I'll be happy to take it-"

"Wait… I…wa- don't want."

Fairy Thunderblaze reached out her hand but quickly took it back, her expression churning as her cheeks reddened behind her veil.

Davis almost laughed out loud, looking at her inner side battle it out to obtain resources. He honestly couldn't understand why she would decline this offer as she was a woman who was after benefits. Obviously, he could see that she wanted it but declined for some reason.

Was her pride that high?

On the other hand, Fairy Thunderblaze trembled ever so lightly as she couldn't believe she almost acted so needily. Her pride refused to accept, but her mind was screaming at her to accept this deal as it was full of benefits for her with no strings attached, considering that it was him, a man who tended to keep his words as far as she had seen.

However, she raised her head up and saw that a spatial ring was before her, causing her eyes to blink.

"What is this…?"

"There are around three hundred billion High-Level Immortal Crystals inside. You might not particularly want it but I abide by my words. You help me, you get rewarded. Even if I'm taking a loss, there's no other way around."

"…"

Davis smirked, leaving Fairy Thunderblaze a bit speechless.

'Fucker! That's our wealth!'

The Transcendents were full of rage as they saw him give their wealth to a woman. Why weren't they the ones to give it to her so that they could get into her good graces? Some men even thought.

"That's foolish of you…"

Fairy Thunderblaze sighed, "But I guess that's the difference between you and me."

Extending her hand out, she took the spatial ring from him and smiled, "We're both shamelessly unapologetic about the way we do things."

"You got that right. Aha!"

Davis laughed a bit more than he thought he would, unexpectedly enjoying this talk with this villainess.

"Do you want your hand healed?" He offered.

"Stop looking to take advantage, oh Emperor of Death~ Don't you have enough already?"

She giggled, her voice echoing seductively as she disappeared from the scene.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some accounting to do~"

Davis watched her leave before he sensed the Phantom Gaze Cobra on the other side already, appearing to be a bit away from the rabbit sector.

With that being the case, he had Lea and Nadia come back with a fully recharged Calypsea, intending to truly negotiate with the prisoners now.

He informed Sophie and the others of his decision, causing them to contemplate before Sophie asked if the Phantom Gaze Cobra would betray them.

"That's unlikely. At least he won't betray me until the realm has been unsealed, and that would be after the realm concoction, as it was said that it requires the realm to be sealed."

Davis shook his head.

His answer left the beauties with little to talk about as they couldn't find anything else that would warrant their current situation to collapse, leaving them feeling secure both physically and mentally. With him by their side, they practically felt invisible, and even if he was missing, there were only a few who could possibly break through their defenses.

A few hours later, Davis met with every single prisoner, even releasing the rabbit before anyone else beforehand.

Even more time later, the Transcendents finally congregated towards his location, appearing to be ready with the tribute needed to release the captives.

Davis stood at the forefront, his eyes flickering as he saw a lot of newcomers, particularly the Seven-Colored Phoenix Upper Realm, Chrono Reign Upper Realm, Eternal Frost Upper Realm, but most importantly, the Virtuous Dawn Upper Realm, whose leader was said to have the same Enigmatic Heart Laws as him.
