The audience in the stream watched as he turned around, their hearts almost jumping to their throats.

There was a very common cliche in horror shows— the turning back and getting killed.

Not only the chat, but even Zong Qi himself felt something falling sweep past his nape, the threads of ice penetrated deep into his bones.

Zong Qi reached out his hand and took hold of the trouble-making monster above his head, yanking down fiercely.

  What is it?

Everyone was scared by his fearlessness, using all their attention to watch the next part, deathly afraid that they’ll miss something otherwise.

The thing in his hand was very thick. When the light from the flashlight shone onto it, a dark brown rope appeared.

The chatter that warned Zong Qi to watch his back was very suspicious of the rope, saying that what he just saw clearly wasn’t that. But the number of people watching the stream was too many, that one comment was instantly drowned in the other comments, no one to notice it.

The black-haired youth dragged the rope, ignoring the cold air in his surroundings and conveniently pulled out a knife from his bag, kacha kacha cutting away at it until the illegal prop was cut in half. He turned around and saw that quite a few people speculated that it was the rope the first renter had used to commit suicide.

“What are you guys guessing? How can this be the rope from back then?”

Zong qi spoke fluently, “The original renter of the haunted house killed themself while wearing a red dress, it was only one month later did the cleaner noticed something was wrong. The corpse then had already been hung in the room for a long time, its entire face changing.”

Qi Ningzhou and he had discussed this problem before.

Unless the people who committed suicide had immense hatred for the world before, they rarely retained their resentment after death, much less turn into a fierce ghost.

This was why the Celestial Master suspected that there were other suspicious parts of the case, murder, such as the possibility of murder.

“After so long, the corpse must have left something like blood or skin on the rope, but this rope was clean as a whistle, so it’s definitely not the rope from the suicide.”

  Chat: ……

Feels wrong but streamer looks like he knows what he’s doing.

“Maybe one of the previous renters enjoyed performance art, for example getting pleasured by suffocation. One can have any preferences they want but some people should really go see a doctor.” (t/n: preferences as in… kinks)

Zong Qi shrugged before raising the flashlight to the ceiling.

There were 4 ropes hanging from the ceiling with rings connecting them, darkness and gloom shot from the top, moving even without the wind.

[I understand the reasoning but why would the rope drop down suddenly!!!]

[I’m actually horrified. Streamer, it’s not too late to turn back now, otherwise, if you combine the past happening of the haunted house… maybe this last rope was left for you]

[Upstairs please shut up, let’s pledge prosperity, democracy, civilization, harmony and freedom together]

“The house isn’t bad, but the cleanliness of it is worrying.”

Zong Qi didn’t bother about the weird rope, turning to the inside of the apartment, looking from one room to the next, “Electricities broken and there’s no water in the apartment either, I’ll have to call people to fix it. Oh… I forgot this was a haunted house, no one dares to come. Sigh, life is too hard.”

The apartment was well equipped, including the electrical appliances inside. Except for the thick layer of dust, everything was basically intact, it’s just that the electricity and water supply had been cut off for too long, so it was inevitable that it was difficult to operate them

[AHHHHHHH STREAMER, you have something behind you! I definitely saw clearly this time, it’s a red dress!!!]

Just as he searched the whole apartment and turned around to the window, he felt something sweep around his neck. Without needing chat to remind him, he opened the curtains directly.

Qi Ningzhou told him to open the curtains when they first enter. Sunlight could disperse the Yin energy to a certain extent.

At that moment, the warm, golden sunlight didn’t have the thick curtains blocking it, rushing to enter the house through the windows. It dispersed the darkness that lasted all year round, lighting up a large patch of the apartment.

“Woah, today’s weather is pretty good huh.”

Zong Qi turned the camera, watching the pale face hanging down from the top of his head calmly, showing the beautiful scenery to the stream.

The red dress ghost that got ignored the second time: ……

If this can be tolerated, what cannot? (t/n: tis an idiom but i dont know how to explain it sakjdnsadkj)

It howled, hiding in the shadows from the curtains. The black hair hanging on the ground expanded, shooting towards the youth standing in front of the window.

It had smelt the especially delicious and fresh scent of flesh on that human’s body. Its hair trembled excitedly, the thick resentment quickly eroding the sun, decreasing the brightness of the entire room by 20%.

The ghost’s face curved, revealing a mouthful of sharp teeth.

The dense ghost energy charged over, close behind was the sharp nails stained with blood.

Zong Qi was scared by the sudden appearance of the sound, his entire back stuck onto the surface of the window.

Humans being afraid of ghosts was the most primal instinct.

He couldn’t see the ‘beauty’ of the other party, but he could feel the unchaseable cold air in the air.

The ‘ke ke ke’ sound from the depths of the fierce ghost’s throat echoed in the empty room. Zong Qi wasn’t deaf so how could he not hear it?

[Holy shit holy shit holy shit, streamer why did the camera suddenly cut]

[Eh? Can you guys hear the weird noises coming from the streamer’s side]

[I thought I was the only one. Turns out it wasn’t a hallucination, but that’s not right, why is the screen black]

[What’s going on? I can’t see anything on my side, is it just me?]

The stream video suddenly spun. After a long time, there was a loud sound from the other side and the notice that the streamer had ended the stream followed closely after.

The warped, hoarse voice of the red dress ghost flooded the empty room.

After seeing that it had forced the person into a corner, the roar of the fierce ghost became more and more ferocious. Under invisible eyes, it stabbed at the black-haired youth.

In the end, no one expected that just as the thick, long hair was about to touch the black-haired youth, it had been burnt by an invisible flame, turning it into a mess of black smoke emitting a disgusting charred smell. Not to mention the fact that half of its hair just disappeared, it had also gotten rid of half its face, revealing the white bones behind it.

  Red dressed ghost: UGHAAHHHHHHHH—

The Zong Qi coming back to his senses: …wait, this isn’t right. Why am I scared?

One, he couldn’t see the other party. Two, he was protected by the Horror Film Director. Ghosts couldn’t do anything to him, he couldn’t see them either, what’s there to be scared about!!!

Hearing the scream of the fierce ghost, the Zong Qi who had readjusted his mental was happy. Then he looked down and found out he had accidentally ended the stream, it had already jumped to the transition for offline.

“Whatever I won’t stream today. Let’s wait a few days instead.”

Today’s stream pushed Zong Qi up to the recommended banner. Not to mention that the location was well chosen, so it could be considered enough to fill the chat’s appetite. There were too many mysterious deaths that had occurred in this apartment. As long as the suspense was enough, no matter what time the stream started, there’ll be an audience watching.

Compared to these, exorcising ghosts was the most important thing.

Qi Ningzhou said that as long as he was there, the fierce ghost would take the initiative to attack him.

And then wait till it was hurt by the Director Rights and then use the talisman and it’ll be done.

After thinking it through, Zong Qi rolled up his sleeve and tried moving towards the sound.

Unfortunately, that rebound had hurt the ever-victorious red-dressed ghost quite heavily, directly filling up the anger bar to the top.

The fierce ghost went silent in the air for a second, its long hair continuing to expand. The edges of the red dress leaked out sticky, red blood before it began to attack its surroundings mercilessly.

When Zong Qi moved, the hair suspended in the air flew at home without regard to its own life. One part burned and another came, like a sewing machine.

This one human and ghost repeated like this: one human looked for the ghost, one ghost attacked and repeatedly cried out in pain and retreated.

The only thing that changed was the scream value in Zong Qi’s pupil. In this short 10 minutes, it had crossed the threshold of 1000.

After walking one round of the apartment, Zong Qi turned back and noticed that the floor behind him was full of charred hair, mixed with the dust, looking repulsive to the extreme.

Zong Qi was speechless, “It’s still a ghost. How can it be so unhygienic living alone?”

This apartment was his future home; the hygiene of the home was directly related to his own self. Sweeping the fallen hair is really troublesome! He couldn’t exactly make the ghost clean it, could he?

But the fierce ghost seemed unable to communicate, much less have intelligence. After its energy was decreased, it only continued to scream.

After walking around a few more rounds, Zong Qi felt like it was about time and pulled out Qi Ningzhou’s talisman.

In the next second, the talisman created using fresh blood burst into flames. He let it go out of surprise.

What he didn’t expect was that after the talisman finished burning, the hair that never stopped burning in the air actually slowed down.

  “Is it done?”

Zong Qi scratched his head, not knowing what happened. He didn’t know if the fierce ghost disappeared or if it still remained.

What the black-haired youth wouldn’t see was that the moment he walked in front, the red dress would silently float backwards, retreating 3 metres, looking like a beast drenched in water. (t/n: beast drenched in water: beaten up so it’s scared)

Or maybe the talisman used to repel vengeful energy recalled some of the red dress ghost’s consciousness, making it realise that although the human smelt nice, going near it would burn it.

It hurts, so it can’t eat. It can’t afford to make it mad, so it better run.

It bit its white nails, a flash of confusion flashing in its white eyes.

At this moment, Zong Qi’s phone suddenly popped up with a message.

[Detected D rank actor “Red Dressed Ghost”]

The message appeared in the [Actors] section of the Horror Film Director, after clicking onto it you would see a warning.
