After winning a few matches and agreeing on what our form needed to contain, I left them to deal with the rest of the Arena and logged out.

We need to play daily to keep our ranking, but my presence isn't always necessary. My own rank, in 1v1, is also pretty much secured.

At least, secured enough that I can log out early with relative peace of mind.

I sit on my bed, and take off the full-dive headset.

I put it down on my bed, and surprise myself almost leaving my room, by habit.

I stretch my muscles a bit. I feel the smoothness of my own movements. I am in weirdly good shape.

No, actually, it would be more correct to say it feels like I am in good shape.

I look down at my body.

Seeing my muscles and the amount of fat on my body, I can clearly say that I am probably close to the worst state I've ever been in.

I've been bȧrėly moving over the past six months, in the literal sense, and while I've been relatively healthily eating, the amount and types of nutrients I ate weren't fit for my living habits.

I am generally pretty lean, yet my fat to muscles ratio is pretty bad.

It's been two days since I went shopping, yet I still have sore muscles from that time. The fact that I even managed to hit the delinquents hard enough to spill blood is a miracle.

Of course, had I synchronized Strength, Agility, and Endurance, I pretty much wouldn't care about whether I was a living skeleton or not, but I do right now. I know of many shut-ins who died over the years from inactivity.

I might need to add a bit of sport to my habits. Maybe once a week or something.

-Anyway!

Oops, I said that out loud.

Talking to yourself is a bad habit, but I'll deal with that another time.

Right now, I need to get on my computer and get to creating that form.

What was it we said already?

Oh, yes. So...

Username: Obvious, we need it.

Availability: We need it to match our needs. It is certainly one of the most important points. We don't want the type that ends up canceling on you or not being there when it's important. We'll have a test period before admitting anyone, so if they lie, we can still kick them out.

Status: We can't just have any character of any level.

Build: It's a tricky one. We ask them what were the thoughts behind their build, and what are their thoughts for its future. It'll allow us to sort through the idiots. You're allowed to be an idiot in life, but not an idiot when it comes to gaming.

Objectives: What were the thoughts that led them to fill the form? Of course, they're going to lie, but we'll know which are good liars, and which are honest to a fault. No answer can fail, but all answers will give us an insight into their personality and potential use.

Now, let's take a look at the overall form, and see how good it is.

Hmm... Let's also ask for an email, then it's good.

I don't want to add those I selected for trial as friends in-game to contact them. Who knows, what if I also have additional questions I want to ask some participants?

Good!

Now, I just need to turn that form into a link I can actually remember.

I plan to send it in-game, in the global chat.

Our little stunt earlier made noise, I'm sure of it. We are THAT guild everyone envies, and thus the one every free agent and maybe some members of opposing guilds want to join.

Us recruiting should have been a welcome surprise for those. We even beat the record by the highest margin anyone did for the occasion. With that record, we've shown that we aren't recruiting because we are getting weaker, we are recruiting because we are going to get stronger.

People might be expecting us to put any further information in another dungeon record, but what do they think records are? Do they think they are like air, you just find them in chips bags?

Anyway, with the attention I have, even just posting something like that in the global chat will be enough to make a lot of noise. It'll make turns.

A popular entity in a popular game that never recruits is suddenly recruiting and here is what they posted.

I memorize the shortened link, get to bed, put back the full-dive headset, and log in.

And... sent.

Of course, the game stops you from posting links, which is why the terms of the links were separated in chat. With as an example bit.ly/RandomSeed, the message would be closer to bitly RandomSeed.

Of couuuursssee, there is nothing at this specific address.

Yeah right.

Nothing.

Nothing to be seen, circulate, please!

Anyway, all that hard work had me hungry, let's eat early!

I'll close the form tomorrow or something.

After closing the form, I just went through all the form answers.

Of all of those, I selected two profiles.

I expected to pick more originally, as I still have the trial period, but these two were just too good.

The results matched my expectations, yet I somehow got two good profiles like this. Picking any other would be an insult to anyone with a fully working brain.

The first profile I selected matched what I wanted originally:

A support, focused on healing, buffing, with good stats and a composition that matches my expectations. He has Aura a Dismissal, a skill that cancels all CC for 5 seconds. From what I could see so far it should, in theory, be compatible with Dartagnan's Keep: it has an on-off option that shows up in the status.

The second profile I selected was one I never knew I wanted:

A tank that heals itself. He's not only an autonomous tank, but also one that is particularly good at both things.

The only reason I originally thought our team didn't need a tank was because of our style, but it's clear that having a tank that can hold against an enemy tank, even supported, might allow us to quickly take out a team's support without any worry of being focused, as the opposite team would need to at least split its focus between our tank and the rest of us.

All matters considered, I couldn't pick any profile that wasn't at least at these two's level.

Now, I just need to send announce the good news to them, as well as pick the date, time, and in-game location for their first trial.
