Chatty Hollywood

Chapter 84: Beverly Hills Detective

Parked the car at the door of Judy Foster’s cottage, Kate suddenly felt that she was a lot like Eddie Murphy in "Beverly Hills Detective".

—Well, at least I am more beautiful than him! And I can wear high heels!

Miss Detective was struggling to be happy.

Judy Foster’s villa is not big, it can only be regarded as a small one in front of a large expansive mansion nearby. But even so, this is a villa in Beverly Hills. For the price of any house here, I am afraid that Kate is not enough to give the FBI 100 years of work.

   "Damn rich man!"

While mumbling to himself, Kate walked into the scene of the crime.

Yes, Judy Foster’s home is the scene of the crime.

This is a piece of news that is enough to make the paparazzi waiting nearby so excited that it explodes. The only thing they regret is that the young lady did not die, nor did she kill anyone.

"Following Hinkley, Foster has another fanatical pervert fan!"

Jeff, a veteran reporter who has been filming with Judy Foster for some years, thought to himself.

Jeff is not a paparazzi. Although he works for the Chicago Tribune, although he is also focused on news, he is not like those tabloid reporters with no lower limit at all.

Since Foster's first ascent to the back seat of Oscar, Jeff has been in charge of following the filming of the queen. For the real big news, although he is not soft about it, he is full of gentleman's demeanor in the face of small things that can be reported or not.

This attitude has won the favor of the other party, which allows him to get some interview opportunities from time to time. And Jeff also retaliated for this—

It's not that he didn't notice some abnormalities in Miss Shadow Queen's daily life, but he decided to remain silent before being exposed by others.

And now, what he cares most about is the safety of Judy Foster—

Early this morning, when the crowd of reporters guarding nearby were already yawning, a scream suddenly came out from the cottage they were monitoring.

   This immediately awoke them.

Then they saw Judy Foster and her assistant running out of the hallway barefoot, wearing pajamas, but only an extra coat, and everyone realized that the big news was coming!

   "Please help us!"

Miss Yinghou bluntly asked for help, but the reporters who usually wished to put the microphone under the former's nose were at a loss.

After all, if you don’t consider the needs of your work, it’s hard for journalists who are basically all male to follow a beautiful woman like Judy Foster without thinking about it.

Especially at this moment, this beauty is still only wearing pajamas. She is obviously frightened, and her pitiful appearance makes everyone even more unbearable.

"No wonder Hinckley would assassinate the president after watching her perform in "Taxi Driver"!"

Many people have thoughts like this.

   "Judy, what happened?"

A ticket led by Jeff and Foster reporters who have a good relationship with Foster hurriedly gathered around.

This time, they did not take pictures very gentlely.

   Judy Foster did not speak.

She looked confused in fear, as if she didn't know what to say for a while.

   "In the house..."

   Her assistant Anna spoke tremblingly.

   "There is..."

Okay, it seems that the girl was also frightened, and she couldn't say enough.

   "Let’s go and see!"

A few younger reporters, or paparazzi-in Jeff's view, these reporters working for the third-rate tabloids are out-and-out paparazzi-volunteering.

As for whether they did this out of chivalry, or the male's desire to express in front of beautiful females, Jeff is not clear.

—Of course it may be to grab the headlines.

   Thinking so, Jeff followed.

Whether it is from the standpoint of a reporter or a friend, he wants to figure out what's going on—

Judy Foster’s villa is not big, and the decoration inside is not as extravagant as some stars who like to show off. This is a small house that can only be described as warmth.

In the main hall of the house, there are a lot of posters, all of which are movies that Judy Foster has acted in.

—Well, this might ruin the warmth in the house a bit. After all, whether "The Silent Lamb" or "Taxi Driver", their posters are not very...friendly.

And now, these unfriendly posters have been painted with blood red paint.

   "L-O-V-E?"

Jeff read out the smeared marks,

"Love? Looks like another dangerous stalker!?"

   Mr. reporter guessed.

The next moment, when he put his gaze on the long table in the corner of the living room, his pupils shrank sharply—

It was a puddle of dark red blood, which didn't seem to be solidified yet. In the center of the blood stain, there is a large piece of something that looks like a cow's heart.

   "Innards! Human!?"

Jeff, who had been a social news reporter for a while, thought of this possibility for the first time.

"Ah ah ah ah ah!!"

Well, it seems that even reporters who specialize in stimulating news still have some scampi...

Thinking of the scene at the time of the incident, Jeff's brows frowned.

"Judy will not be affected by anything, right?"

In fact, Judy Foster was a little irritated during the Hinckley incident, but obviously, this time it was more direct and violent.

—This is definitely another vicious incident!

As soon as the incident happened, he had already sent the news back to the headquarters of the Chicago Tribune, and now he is here to interview the FBI who has completed the investigation for a while.

—Of course, this group of Hoover cowboys never cooperated with the media very much.

But even so, Jeff still hopes they can catch that guy as soon as possible.

—This is not as a reporter, but as a friend, a friend of Judy Foster, what I hope for.

  ***********

Kate did not know that there was such a conscientious reporter who was guarding the scene of the crime.

As soon as she arrived, she immediately asked the forensics and forensic doctors to see if there were any clues. But she didn’t know what to say—

"This is indeed a human heart. According to preliminary judgment, it hasn't been a long time to cut it off, and—"

Speaking of which, the black forensic doctor in front of Kate couldn’t help but swallowed.

"Depending on the contraction of the incision, when the heart is cut off, the person may still be alive."

"this…"

Even though Kate, as an FBI agent, has seen a lot of vicious criminals, this judgment still made her take a breath.

And the forensic doctor’s words haven’t been finished yet,

"Preliminary judgment is that although the incision is still smooth, it does not look like it was caused by an ordinary knife. The specific murder weapon still needs to be studied."

Okay, it's strange, but it's somewhat of a discovery. The results of the search by the forensic department completely disappointed Kate.

"Except for the few people who originally lived here, did not find any other new fingerprints and footprints?"

Although it is true that wearing gloves can avoid leaving fingerprints, this stalker—no, now it can be said to be a murderer—he is too careful!

Kate was frustrated, but there was nothing to do.

"If this goes on, will it become an unsolved case again, right?"

—The series of cases in Vianes Valley are still on hold.

Even if it is not for the FBI, for the sake of his own resume, Kate has to think of something.

"Since the heart was taken from a living person, there must be a corresponding corpse. Let's start with the corpse!"

   Kate pondered,

"However, I have to rule out another possibility first."
