Seeing my antics of pulling bow from the wall, minotaur start laughing. Even Zack and Adger are trying to stifle their laughter but my antics got better of them and they also start laughing at me. Seeing them laughing at my attempts to pick up the bow made me confused as I only want to try the bow once.

Minotaur said: " Kid!! Do not touch the bow any further."

I thought how petty are they that they don't even allow me how this bow feel in my hand. I feel disappointed. Minotaur understood from my facial expressions that I misunderstood him. He clarified me.

Hearing this I understood his kind intentions and start laughing sheepishly at my foolishness.

I start moving toward counter as it is empty due to heroes have done their shopping.

He presented me a catalogue which have different weapons and items. I decided to buy a language pill which cost me 10 gold coins. The evolution potion in the catalogue caught my eye as there is no information on it except that it is a C rank evolution potion. It cost 350 gold coins. The price of potion took my breath away as buying it will deplete my pool of money which I earned through by putting my life on line.

" The evolution potion will evolve your body and activate your latent potential. Your stats will increase and you will have basic stats equal to trainee. After drinking it you will feel massive pain and if you will be able to endure it , you gain the basic stats of the trainee. If you lose consciousness before evolution is completed then you will fail and potion will be wasted. The chances of evolution through Rank C will decrease and it will become even harder next time to evolve, ."

Hearing the term trainee again made me feel confused. Feeling my confusion, he recommended me the book name information of ancient battlefield. I bought the book and it cost me thirty gold coins. I quickly opened the book and found it blank. Suddenly massive influx of information occurred inside my head. The book told about different aspects of battlefield like we will be fighting different creatures of different dimensions. The ancient battlefield is managed by different managers of overlord species of dimensions. The ancient battlefield is the training and filtering ground of dimensions. It also tell about the Fodder, Trainee, Elite, Expert and General and benefits for winning the war.It also tell us about different classes and their weakness.

I decided to buy the Evolving potion. The evolving potion have greenish colour. I quickly gulped the potion. After drinking the potion, I feel my body heating up like my insides are churning up. I feel like millions of ants are gnawing my insides.The every part of my body is feeling pain. I feel heart wrenching pain and start screaming. The pain is not subsidizing and my throat is parched due to screaming constantly. I start losing consciousness but voice rang inside me" You lose consciousness, you fail, you lose 350 gold coins and evolution will become harder ." I forced myself to forcefully stay awake and clutched the straw. The pain start subsidizing after a few moments and the feeling of power coursing through my body is making me addicted to it. I am very happy. I managed to survive the torture and finally evolved.

Seeing my stat screen, I am shocked as DET and WIS stats are not shown on the screen and my other stats have question marks. The fodder title is also not removed and I feel infuriated as I am trolled by Minotaur. The potion only has adverse effect on me and all the pain that I endured was for naught. I shouted at Minotaur with aggressive tone; " WHY ARE MY STAT UNREADABLE?? WHY DO I STILL HAVE FODDER TITLE???"

Hearing my aggrieved tone, he starts laughing. Seeing him laughing, my anger touch the roof. I start breathing heavily. I look towards him with filled with killing intent. Suddenly I feel cold wind blowing. My knees start buckling due to pressure release by minotaur. I feel my life rest on his whims. I feel like I am an ant in his eyes.

" Kid take it easy. The title did not change because you have not awaken a power so you are technically a fodder and you are stats have changed because the system is only for fodders. It will not show your stats because you have crossed the threshold and have the basic trainee stat".

After hearing his explanation, I feel clear headed. I apologized to him for my behaviour. He smiled slightly and gave me a piece of wisdom.

" Stay calm and clear headed in situations so you will be able to make correct decisions and stay clear headed."

He also told me that the system is only for fodders of every species and after awakening a power I have to collect coins by my own hand as system auto collect will no longer be available. The coins will disappear after ten minutes and no one can steal or pick your gold coin except if you died before collecting gold coin leaving it owner less . He also advised me to learn from generals and improve my fighting skills so that I can survive longer on this battlefield.

After this prelude episode I decided to shop farther.I bought a spear which cost me 30 gold coins and have piercing effect and extra 5 damage. I also bought skills such as basic spear handling and basic bow handling. The skill cost me 20 gold coins each. I also bought basic Hp potion and Mana potion to refill my stocks of potion. He advised me not to buy other potions as they will not have any affect on me.
