Aphasia at Hogwarts

Chapter 16 Christmas

With a few days left before Christmas, a festive atmosphere quietly enveloped the entire college.

Everyone couldn't help but smile on their faces. When they were in class, they used half of their minds to listen to the lectures, while the other half of their minds drifted outside, planning what they should do during the Christmas holiday.

The auditorium was refurbished again, with holly and mistletoe festoons hanging all over the walls, and twelve towering Christmas trees flanking the sides, with icicles and candles hanging from them.

It was finally snowing outside, and it was no longer the previous state where it turned into water when it fell to the ground. The cold air condensed all the water vapor in the air into snow, and it became refreshing for a while.

Snow piled up on the lawn, and the lake was also covered with hard ice. Half of the students were playing snowball fights, and the other half were skating on the lake. Only a few of them enjoyed the warm fire in the fireplace in the lounge.

Guan Qiong no longer locked herself in the Room of Response and the library, and went outside to enjoy rare leisure time.

Then he saw the Weasley brothers magically make the snowball run after Quirrell, and finally hit the back of Quirrell's hooded head.

The corners of Guan Qiong's eyes twitched, if he remembered correctly, it should be the face of a certain Dark Lord.

As expected of our king, Weasley!

Guan Qiong looked at the Weasley brothers who were punished by Professor McGonagall who rushed over, sighed with emotion, and then ran to the edge of the frozen lake.

Hagrid sat beside him, watching the wizards galloping on the icy lake, drinking the wine in the water bag comfortably.

"Hagrid."

Two large characters suddenly appeared in front of Hagrid.

"Huh? Oh, it's Joan." Hagrid turned his head and saw Guan Qiong standing next to him.

After he sat down, he was on the same level as Guan Qiong.

"I have bought what you want. There are three Galleons, eleven Sickles, and twenty-two nats. Three Sickles are added to the meal for those poor owls. This weather will span the entire continent. They're tired, and you don't mind," said Hagrid.

"Of course." The wand in Guan Qiong's hand flew out with light spots.

In the previous life, he was always troubled by money and died of exhaustion at work, but this life is much easier, after all, now he has enough to eat, and the whole family has nothing to worry about.

Forbidden Forest's income is not to say that it is rich and powerful, but at least it allows him not to worry about pocket money while he is in school.

And he has other money-making ideas, but it takes a longer vacation to implement.

"It's in my hut, you can get it now, oh, yes." Hagrid scratched his head, blinked his eyes, and said a little embarrassedly.

"I saw a "Guide to Raising Fire Dragons" in it, hehe, is Joan also interested in dragons?" Hagrid grinned, his black beetle-like eyes blinking with joy.

He didn't expect Guan Qiong to have the same hobbies as him, and this was the first time he met them in school for so many years.

"That's a Christmas present for you." Guan Qiong said, "But I do have some interest in fire dragons."

"You think they're cute too, don't you?" Hagrid's voice rose, and then fell again. "It's a pity that private dragon breeding is not allowed now. This book is only for reading, not for use."

Guan Qiong patted the big guy on the shoulder.

"There will be a chance."

He left a sentence, and walked towards Hagrid's hut, leaving Hagrid alone, imagining the possibility of raising dragons by the lake, and he laughed from time to time.

Hermione was busy writing her holiday homework, and asked the two of them at the same time.

"When I'm not around, you should continue to search. If you find out about Nicole Flamel, send an owl to tell me."

Harry and Ron looked at each other, nodded in response, "Don't be idle at home, you can ask your parents." Ron said.

Hermione glanced at him, closed the homework in front of her, and let out a long sigh of relief.

She has finished all the Christmas homework left by the professor.

"Who says I'm idle when I'm at home, and I'm not always playing when I get home."

Harry looked at Hermione's homework in the bag, and asked tentatively, "Then what are you?"

"Finish the homework for Hogwarts first, and when you go home to cram school, you don't have to worry about missing your homework," Hermione said.

Hermione added another sentence amidst the jaw-dropping expressions of the two.

"Normal study can't be left behind. I don't want to be unable to use a computer after graduating from Hogwarts."

"That, that computer, what is it?" Ron asked Harry.

"I've only heard of it, it's a very complicated machine, and there are..." Harry recalled the information he had glanced at on the TV back then.

"There's software, and there's hardware and whatnot," Harry said hesitantly, not sure.

"And what's that software and hardware?" Ron asked.

These were two words he had never heard before, and he couldn't understand them at all.

"That's. That's it." Harry scratched his head and looked at Hermione.

Hermione looked at the two with foolish eyes, sighed heavily, and was about to put her homework back in the dormitory.

She gave up explaining these things to them, and the magic had already filled their little heads, and if they put things in human society, their brains would freeze.

Well, yes, crash, this is also an extended word from the computer.

Hermione thought, and then couldn't help thinking of more places.

Guan Qiong, does he know these things? I heard that he is a child from an orphanage, so he probably doesn't know.

She was better than him in this respect, but she didn't feel happy about it.

She wouldn't compare with Guan Qiong in this kind of place, it's not fair.

By the time she came out of the dormitory, Ron had already played wizard chess with Guan Qiong, and Harry was watching the game, and it seemed that he had just lost.

"Hmph!" Facing Guan Qiong's gaze, Hermione snorted softly and ran out of the lounge.

There is still a little time, she is going to the library to read and look for information on Nicole Flamel.

"It looks like it's going to be a holiday, and she's giving you a holiday too." Guan Qiong's magic wand flew out with a smile on her face.

"No, she just asked us to continue searching during the vacation." Ron complained while ordering the wizard chess below.

"Joan, do you know who Nicole Flamel is?" Harry suddenly asked from the side.

"Of course I know." Guan Qiong said.

Looking at the bright eyes of the two, he added, "Are you sure you want to listen to me?"

Harry and Ron remembered what Hermione said before, if they asked Guan Qiong, they would not let her check homework in the future.

And as a third party, they could see very clearly that Hermione and Guan Qiong were just having a temper tantrum, but if they took refuge in Guan Qiong, then Hermione and them would really break off their friendship.

Although they are only twelve years old, Harry, who sleeps at the bottom of the stairs all the year round, and Ron, who has five older brothers above, understand some interpersonal relationships better than ordinary little wizards, and they can see more clearly.

"No, no, no." The two of them shook their heads quickly, and lowered their heads to watch the chess.

Guan Qiong smiled, said no more, and continued to exchange sons with Ron until only the king and queen were left on the field.
