Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

Daniel's gaze stopped at Keiji and said "You what do you know about innate ability aside from what he said?"

"I don't know more than that," Keiji said while looking at Daniel.

"Ok, then what do you know about the virtual world?" Daniel asks Keiji. He was surprised when he saw Keiji's action because there is not even a single hint of emotions in it. He thought that it was just Keiji's nature so he wasn't so interested in it.

"I only know that the creator of that thing must be so powerful," Keiji replied casually.

"Well we still didn't know who created it," Daniel said as he looked around for more students to ask.

Daniel keeps asking about the Virtual world, Innate abilities, Skill and stuff.

"So now can you raise your hand if you have an innate ability?" 

After Daniel said that all the students raised their hand except for Keiji and three more students. From their looks, you can easily discern that those three students are a nerd.

"Okay so, for those who have an ability can you show it to us, but it's okay if you don't want to if you are concerned for your safety." 

"Raise your hand if it's okay for you to show your innate ability to us. And for those who don't want to disclose their innate ability, it's alright but I can't help you that much in controlling your innate ability if I don't know it but don't worry I know you have your family teaching so no need to worry, but for those who don't have the innate ability I have something different from you." 

"I know some of you already know this but I will still say it. Innate ability is not just a power you can control but it also means that your body has unlimited potential."

"If a human doesn't have an innate ability even if you work out so much you can't escape the limit of strength. Let's say the more you train your body the more it will become bulky but it also depends on how you train yourself."

"And if you don't have an ability your lifespan is already expected to be 70 years to 150 years at most. At first when we found out that there is an age reversing ability we all thought that we will be immortal. But then they found out that it depends on how much your body can take. There was once an ability user who uses his age-reversing ability to an ability less human."

"What do you think happens to the ability less people?" 

"He died?" one student answered.

"No!, he became a monster."

Most of the students were shocked at that sudden revelation. Keiji also wondered if he had ever heard of such power that can turn someone into a beast even vampires can't turn someone into their species completely.

"Yup, This is a secret of the Union that can only be disclosed when you have reached a certain age. And you know I will warn you this is classified information and I hope you won't disclose this information to the others. If you don't want for the union to knock on your door." Daniel said and smiled.

"Ok, now as I was saying the ability less human became a monster after an ability user used an ability to him. That is why the union strictly prohibits the use of innate ability to an ability less people. But not all ability can turn an ability less human to a monster. All attack type ability can only harm them."

"As some of you already know there are 5 types of ability. Attack type ability is a type of ability with the main purpose to damage the enemy. Defense type ability is a type of ability with the main purpose to defend. Buff is a type of ability with the main purpose to enhance and debuff is the vice versa of it. And the last one and the rarest type of ability is creation."

"Although there is their purpose but some of the skills that belong to attack type can have the main purpose of defense or anything. We only classified this ability by using the rarest type of stone that can be found in the world. And as I was saying earlier Innate ability can unlock your full potential."

"So it means if you learn how to execute or to use your ability your cell structure will change and that is based on the researchers in that field. They learned that after you exert the energy that fuels your ability your cell structure will change. Your tissue that is made of muscle will become more coordinated and it unlocks the limits that are set on our muscles. I am not an expert in those fields so I can't explain how it changes."

"I just want to say that an ability user has a stronger body than an ability less people and that is if they have the same training regime. So even if you have an ability you can't slack off."

Daniel continued explaining and teaching different stuff which Keiji found interesting. After the class Keiji went directly back home with Mia they also bid farewell to Klyzer who went home by car with her chauffeur. Ryle went back home after bidding farewell with Keiji. He went straight home because he still had work to do. 

Mia and Keiji went home together using their respective bike. They chatted along the way and talked about what they just learned that day.

After exiting the elevator Keiji entered his penthouse and Mia also entered her own penthouse. 

'Ahh!!! I feel like I learned more today and what I know is just a speck of dust after living for so long this is the first time I experienced this. I hope this will last.' Keiji thought as he walked into the kitchen and cooked himself a ramen. 

'Although there is so much more food that is tastier than this I still wouldn't leave eating ramen' he thought and kept stuffing noodles in his mouth.

After eating he took a bath and changed his clothes to a tight-fitting suit and then entered the virtual world.

Keiji found himself in the same spot where he logged out. He was near the arena and he saw that the place seemed crowded and lots of people were looking at the big screen displayed outside the arena.

Keiji then received a message from his token. When he opened it a holographic file soon came up. Keiji read through it and guessed that it was his teammates.
