Giovanni come to Santiago and said

'Let us trust our lord' Santiago opens his eyes and nodded.

'It appears that the battle is almost over' At this Giovanni nodded. He them jump into the air and landed on the back of his horse which had retreated because of the shockwaves.

Santiago also did the same. Then they nodded at each other and rides toward the Emperor in the distance. 

They no longer wanted to stop the Emperor battle. They just wanted to come closer and witness this battle and see who would win and who would lose.

As Santiago and Giovanni is riding toward the battle area, the battle between Arial and Varnikar is not yet quite over.

The sound of the air breaking and the wind roaring exploded around these two great warriors. 

BOOOM!

ROAR!

The sound of dragon roar and thunder screaming suddenly exploded and the dust was swept away by another sweeping gust wind, the water that is falling down from the sky because of the previous attack was pushed to the side, the entire banks of the stream was widened a few dozen feet and everyone could finally see that the two warrior did not yet finished fighting

'By Light! What kind of monster these two people are?' Some of the soldiers in the wall muttered to themselves.

Not only the soldiers were shocked. Even Giovanni and Santiago who is riding toward the area was shocked.

They thought that the battle is almost over. But as they come closer to the battle area, they could see the two warriors is still energetic and the energy around them seems to billow toward the sky

They even felt that there is probably no one in this world that could match up to such strength. But they did not stop their horses. 

They did not intend to look too closely in fearing that they would be caught up in the storms of energy between those two.

But they did not want to look from afar. 

They both wanted to watch the battle from the side. 

For both Giovanni and Santiago, if they could glean some of the moves that these two warriors performed, they might have an inspiration on ow to become stronger. 

The roars of the dragon could be heard till the city. And from afar they could see thunder and lightning covering the area of those two warriors.

Lightning is one of the most terrifying force one could come into but these two warriors seems to be bathed in lightning and is fine and even seems like two God of Thunder is facing off against each other

On the battlefield in that brief moment when they were fighting, each of their attacks tears space

The energy condensed from each of their movement was so dense that it tears space, changes the course of the wind, and causes the temperature around them to rise like they were the incarnation of flame itself 

Arial had unleashed a powerful strike yet Varnikar is still standing. To him, it is incredible that such an old man possesses such a sturdy and powerful body.

It is like he is punching the sturdiest metal known to man. 

This is not an old man that relies on false reputation.

While he did not have that many information about Varnikar, from what he knows Varnikar is one of the greatest warrior in the Three Kingdoms

Arial thinks that is not an over exaggeration. 

Instead, it is an underestimation. He believes that Varnikar is probably the strongest warrior of the New World 

This old man is the strongest person Arial had ever encountered in his life. 

Even the Four Immortals could not match this person power if one compared raw power only

If Arial right now is not supported by his Dragon Heart unlimited inner energy and the Divine Essence in his body, he would not be able to easily fight such a warrior 

He would have probably lost when Varnikar uses the fire and lightning palm.

Even right now, he could sense that the life force of this old man is very powerful. Like him, Varnikar is also healing in an unprecedented rate. 

Because of that Arial uses one of the Dragon Palm strongest move 

the hot-based palm attack that he had improved is very lethal against regeneration.

But even when the regeneration was dulled, Varnikar is still healing albeit slowly. As for Arial, in that clash, he was also injured.

He is just holding it in. He felt the iron taste of his blood. It has been a long time since he is challenged and brought to this kind of circumstances.

He stands there, his hand behind his back. he appears calm and even majestic but his hand is actually scorched red.

The palm attack that Varnikar had use is basically using lightning to burn him. He borrows the lightning bolt from the Heavens above to attack him.

No matter how strong he is, he is still mortal and mortal get injured. 

The injury itself is not his concern. 

what is worse was that it slows down the healing of the Divine Water. 

Arial had to take in the hostile lighting into his Divine Thunder essence and even though he appears to be doing nothing right now, his entire body is trying to assimilate the lightning bolt that Varnikar summons so that it would not harm his body

They look at each other. 

And they both take a deep breath, their body is pulsing with pain. In that one clash, they both sustain injury.

But Arial knows he could not let this rest to be too long. Because if he let it become too long, then knowing Varnikar, his body would probably also heal

'Again!' he shouted. 

By now the area around him was already destroyed 

There is no longer any field of arrows around them. Many of them were burned by the scorching fire or flattened by the wind shockwave that sweeps through the filed.

Some of them were even plucked out from the ground and was swept away a few dozen kilometers away from the area of their fight.

Arial body once again exploded with lightning. 

Energy rises from his navel area, his hair rises up to the air and the ground beneath his feet depressed one feet deep

But this time Arial did not use it like before. 

He had been familiarizing himself with the Thunder Essence since the beginning of the battle

He had rarely uses them in the past. 

Or to be more accurate he had rarely uses it in such intricate fight. 

Halfway through the battle, he is also learning from Varnikar. Varnikar ways of using the thunder is very different from him. 

Compared to the way he is using the Thunder Essence Varnikar use of thunder is elegant and shows that he has full control over his thunder. 

It is very different from him. 

His thunder is powerful and domineering possessing great destructive power that is several times higher than Varnikar, yet for some reason while he could overpower Varnikar lightning and thunder attack, he could not destroy it. 

That fills his heart with confusion. 

But Arial had always been a quick learner in his second life

After learning the Enlightenment Sutra, Arial comprehension in all martial arts is very fast. And his learning capabilities also increases in other fields

Even though magic is always seen as something mystical and hard to control, something that is high and noble, Arial decided to try to think it simply. 

In the end, when he brings this thinking to his way of using he Divine Thunder, he finally glimpses a bit of truth. 

In the end, whether it be inner energy, magicle energy or divine energy it is energy. 

What is amazing was that he comprehended this during his battle with Varnikar

Most magic that Arial is accustomed in seeing is Bloodline magic like the Elven that have their own nature magic or Demons with their affinity for destructive magic or dragons with their understanding of the laws of the world and so on and so forth.

This created a prejudice in his mind about ways of using magic, thinking that he could not use it.

Even after he got the Divine Essene there is this feeling it is not a part of his power. He did not think of this consciously but unconsciously this is his thoughts

This affect the way he uses his Divine Magic, wielding it like some kind of novice warrior, crude and unrefined.

But this time it is different. Arial decided to merge the principle of inner energy cultivation with the practice of divine energy 

It I a risky thing to do especially in such an important battle. 

But Arial ha the feeling. 

And he had the premonition that if he ignores this feeling, to grasp it again is very hard. It is what the monks of Linzi Temple would say a moment of enlightenment. 

Arial did not rush forward this time. Instead he lowers his stance and his gathers the thunder essence on the meridian of his hand.

And this time, he tries to channel the divine energy that is also in his dantian and to his surprise, his inner energy, the thrumming blood of the dragon and the divine essence of thunder seems to merge, three to one 

The circulation of the meridian is to magnify the effect of the Dragon Palm

He had tried to experiment and yet the experiment work. He could feel that the three energy oppose each other at first, then melded and then merge creating a different kind of energy that is in harmony with each other

In that moment he grasped that feeling and his eyes shines with lightning crisscrossing in his eyes

Explosion echoes in the skies as Arial body is bathed in lightning that come from inside his body. 

If Varnikar borrows from the world, Arial on the other hand possesses it.
