Great General Bonfereile army is brave and valiant in battle. They fought like majestic lions.

Great General Leander who is also Arial Minister of War is known with the moniker Loyal. Out of all the Twelve General, Leander is someone Arial could trust without a doubt.

Hence, during the era of Conquest Leander was stationed on the most sensitive places. Great General Wang Mu from the Wang clan is rash and easy to anger but his army hotheadedness creates a powerful raging soldiers.

Great General James is elegant in war, either in the exaction of a plan or the movement of the army as such their army could easily accept the arrangement of the Empire 

And so on and so forth for the other great generals. 

Some of them could accept returning back the Token of Authority and believing his word. But not all soldiers believe his words and not all of the generals believe in his word. 

The fact that he held a banquet raises alarm on four of his twelve generals.

They believe that the banquet was a trap by him to kill off all of the Twelve generals. In the end, Arial did that to ascertain their trust on him

These four great generals wanted to rebel that day. Only the people that knows the story understand how close the Empire on the verge of breaking that day.

Silas knew about the plot of the four great generals and went to persuade them to lay down their weapon and trust him.

Silas spoke to them about the past where most of them was picked up by Arial and given high responsibilities and how some of them were nothing more than a peasant before he, the Emperor elevated them to a position of riches and power.

Silas, as always a great orator and persuader.

In the end, there were no rebellion that day. The banquet was held, Arial traded poems with Bonfereile and everything was peaceful

The people outside the palace did not know any better that if that day Silas failed to persuade those four generals, the capital would be attacked by four armies that would surely plunge the Empire into another great war.

Thus, the chapter of the Twelve General System ended. The Empire become prosperous and powerful, the internal was pacified, the outside was calm.

Arial had always been wary of reviving the system. 

The twelve generals themselves had been living a peaceful life since then. They do not actively involve themselves on the matter of the imperial court since they were already given a lot of privileges after setting down their armors and weapons.

Other than Leander who take control of the Hall of War, most of the other twelve generals prefers a life outside of the imperil court.

Who would have thought that Silas is the one that revive this old system? He sighed a bit.

This is nothing more than a statement that things in the Empire is reaching a problematic point that Silas who also did not like the twelve General system to revive it. 

This means not only internal problem is intensifying, there is also outside problem that is threatening the Empire

Of course, he also understood what was happening when Santiago and Giovanni told him about what happens.

'Ariadne' he thought to himself again. It seems there is now a conflict between his daughter and his sister that is bad enough to force the twelve General system to be used again.

Adriana would probably also oppose Silas decision on reviving back this system since she would know that the Twelve General System could weaken the power and the hold of the Imperial family upon the military.

It has something to do with the Bonaparte. But Arial knows where the true problem lies. It is between the old noble faction and the new noble faction.

He had frowned when he reads the report. He could only trust that Oliver and Silas would protect his sister and his daughter.

Silas would know what to do and what not to do. Arial is very confident of him

He had a plan with them before he went on this journey. He had expected that his journey would not forever could be hidden.

This journey is very important to him and he had to make it regardless of the other consideration he had.

Of course, at that time it is not because he knew he was Asrana though he had an inkling with all the dreams that visited him when he sleeps. 

It is because he wanted to find the Order of Death and destroy them

He still did not forget what he wanted to do. 

That is still one of his objective for coming to the new World. 

There is of course a bit of change of plans since then. Tatiana, the person who killed his wife is already dead. But the true perpetrator of the assassination is still not revealed to the world.

Arial had promised himself that he would avenge his wife. And everyone thought that his vengeance ended when he had conquered the world and raze Zettel to the ground.

It is just the beginning of his revenge. And he sails the seas to go to Novus Gaia. And now, it has been months. It would be surprising if the people in the Empire still could not realize that he is no longer in the Capital

he also knew that his disappearance would bring out a lot of the hidden dangers that had been surpassed by him in the past

As such, he had made a strategy to lure out this hidden anger out form the dark. And the instrument that he uses to force these forces to come out is none other than Silas.

After all, Arial knows as long as he is at the capital, none of them would dare to act. In a way, his presence had stop the ability of his secret forces to rid out some of these hidden dangers.

As long as he is there, sitting on that throne powerfully, these dark forces would not move. Arial did not have the leisure to wait. If there was a time when he was weak and this hidden forces began to come out in drove, at that time it would be too late. Arial had always wanted to destroy these hidden dangers as fast as possible.,

But his presence is the obstacle of which these hidden forces hide themselves, fearing to show even the trace of their tail

He needs to be out from the capital for any of these hidden danger to shows themselves and muster their courage.

He must show vulnerabilities so that these hidden forces could become more courageous. Feign weakness to bait them. That is the strategy that Silas and him come up with when he expresses his desire to go to the New World.

Silas had always been known to find opportunities even in the most barren places. 

To him, Arial going to the New World is not necessarily a bad thing. 

The foundation of Empire must be strong if it were to stand the test of time. Arial knew the empire he had built was strong. 

But it was strong because he was the Emperor.

Silas had always reminded him that a strong individual could found an Empire. But a strong Emperor is not necessarily a strong foundation for the Empire. People usually mistakes the two. 

A great Emperor did not mean a great Empire.
