Chapter 7

It was cool at night.

Su Jingyan pulled off a girl's light gauze cape, wrapped Su Lingling tightly, and carried her into the carriage.

Qin Ling remained silent, and sat outside the carriage with the coachman.

The night was windy, thick black night, only the lantern on the carriage swayed, exuding a dim yellow light.

Until the carriage drove into a secluded alley, the dim light in the lantern suddenly went out.

There is also a little rust smell in the wind blowing.

"Little beast, come in."

Su Jingyan's voice came from inside the carriage, and Qin Ling lifted the curtain and walked in.

As soon as he entered, a small warm and soft thing was stuffed into his hand.

"Lingling is asleep, you take care of her in the carriage."

In the dim carriage, there was no smile in Su Jingyan's peach blossom eyes. When he handed Su Lingling to Qin Ling and got out of the carriage, the driver had already fallen to the ground and died.

On the walls on both sides of the alley, there were more than a dozen men in black with weapons.

Su Jingyan scolded in a low voice: "Dare to disturb Lingling going home to sleep, you bastards will not even think about going back alive tonight!"

The man in black charged towards Su Jingyan with a weapon in hand.

Su Jingyan stabbed a dagger into the horse's body, the horse was hurt, and ran forward with the carriage.

But Su Jingyan flew up and fought with this group of unfriendly men in black.

Qin Ling was only twelve or thirteen years old, and Su Lingling was white and fat. He couldn't hold Su Lingling firmly with one hand, so he had to hold Su Lingling tightly in his arms with both hands. The carriage accelerated suddenly, and he couldn't free his hands to support it, so he bumped and bumped in the carriage.

His elbow and forehead hurt from being touched, but he gritted his teeth tightly and didn't make a sound.

Su Lingling was in a daze, feeling like she was dangling, and opened her eyes to see the pitch black.

"Brother, where is this?" She rubbed her eyes, but she still couldn't see anything.

Qin Ling whispered to her: "We are in the carriage now, Su Jingyan will come to find us later."

Su Lingling nodded obediently.

Hearing that it was Qin Ling by her side, she reached out and groped around her waist for a while. After finally touching her small bag, she held the small bag with both hands and handed it to Qin Ling.

"Well, for you."

Qin Ling couldn't move to pick it up, nor was he interested in it. He frowned and asked, "What is this?"

"I saw you standing in the room just now, neither eating nor drinking, so I secretly hid some food for you."

"..."

Qin Ling's eyes moved slightly in the darkness.

The little person in his arms had another new movement.

Su Lingling took something out of the bag, touched Qin Ling's thin lips with her small hand, and stuffed the thing into his mouth without any explanation.

"Qin Ling, you are obedient, and I will treat you better in the future."

Qin Ling wanted to stabilize his body and hug Su Lingling tightly, but he really didn't have the energy to resist Su Lingling, so he could only obediently swallow what was in his mouth.

It was a piece of sweet candied fruit. Qin Ling didn't chew it, so he couldn't taste what it was. He just felt that the soft little hand pushed him something sweet.

From the mouth, the sweetness reaches the throat, and then passes through the chest, as if soaked into his heart.

She was as greedy and absurd as her bastard brother; but unlike her bastard brother, she noticed that he didn't eat, and she would hide candied fruit for him to eat.

After successfully feeding Su Lingling, she fell asleep contentedly. The chaos outside had nothing to do with her, and she ignored even the system's voice.

[Congratulations to the host, Qin Ling's strategy value +70]
