Chapter 63
Lu Ran screamed.

Ji Zebei instinctively grabbed her and protected her head.

The car rolled into the ditch, and the body shook violently. Ji Zebei only felt his arm hit the window glass, and gasped in pain.

The car got stuck in a deep ditch and rolled over there.

Seeing this scene, the truck driver quickly parked the car on the side of the road, got out of the car and ran towards the place where they overturned.

"Are you all right?" He yelled down, but no one responded.

He quickly called an ambulance.

In the overturned car, half of Lu Ran's body was pressed against Ji Zebei's body. Half of the man's arm was hanging outside the car window. The glass shards cut the sleeve several times, and the back of the hand was cut by broken glass, which was bloody.

When Lu Ran raised her head, the man covered her eyes with his hand, "Don't look."

"Are you hurt?"

"A little injury, you turn your head away."

She obediently turned her face away from him, while he tore off a piece of cloth from the black vest inside the sweater, and quickly wrapped up his injured hand.

"People in the car, are you all right?" The truck driver continued to shout at them after finishing the phone call.

Lu Ran quickly responded, "We're fine."

She poked her head out of the window on the driver's side, and found that the car was leaking oil, she panicked instantly.

"Mr. Ji, the car is leaking oil, will it explode?"

Ji Zebei: ...

"Get out of the car quickly." She pushed the door hard, but the door was blocked by the slope and could not be pushed open, so she simply climbed out through the skylight.

Ji Zebei watched her swiftly move over the roof of the car like a monkey, and slid along the rear of the car to the trunk. The first thing she did was to open the trunk and reach out to carry a box of seafood behind her.

"Lu Ran, what are you doing?"

"Save the seafood you just bought."

"Can you save someone first?"

Ji Zebei couldn't laugh or cry, if his leg wasn't stuck, he wouldn't need Lu Ran's help at all.

Lu Ran came back to his senses, quickly put down the foam box in his hand, ran to open the passenger door, and yanked Ji Zebei violently.

"Wait a minute, the seat belt hasn't been undone yet." The man's arm hurt from being pulled by her.

He frowned and unbuckled his seat belt, and Lu Ran tried his best to drag him out of the car.

Where he was, the wheels had already bottomed out. If the car body slid a little further, he would be trapped inside. If he wanted to get out, he had to climb out of the skylight like Lu Ran.

The moment his feet hit the ground, Lu Ran took his hand and ran quickly.

"Stay away from the car, it might explode soon," she shouted as she ran.

Just hearing a 'bang' sound behind them, the two moved almost in sync, and fell to the ground at once.

The man's arms instinctively protected Lu Ran's head.

However, there was no explosion, and the surrounding area was silent.

Lu Ran raised his head, looked back at the white Audi that was overturned in the ditch, and found that the "bang" just now was just a drop of the car body.

Ji Zebei sighed helplessly, seeing Lu Ran's bewildered expression, suddenly wanted to laugh.

With her, it seems that there are always such situations.

He got up, patted the dirt on his clothes, and stretched out his hand to lift Lu Ran up.

She tilted her head to look at his other hand behind her back, and asked a little worriedly, "Did your hand hurt?"

"Small wound."

When she pulled him out of the car, she caught a glimpse of his hand wrapped in a black cloth. He probably didn't want her to see the blood, and worried that she would faint again.

"I've already called an ambulance." The truck driver standing by the side of the road yelled at them with all his strength.

Lu Ran waved at the man, "Thank you."

The driver of the truck was not bad. When they were struggling to climb the slope, the man gave them a hand, and even went to the car to move the foam box of seafood up.

"I'm not responsible. You were the ones who went the wrong way, and you turned over the ditch yourself." The truck driver looked serious, and pointed to the truck behind him and said, "I have a driving recorder in my car."

The voice outside the words is undoubtedly saying, you don't want to put the responsibility on me.

Lu Ran smiled, "It's not your responsibility to know."

If you want to blame, blame her for falling asleep, and you should never drive tired.

"Have you bought insurance for your car?" She turned to Ji Zebei and asked.

The man's face was a little pale, and the hand wrapped in cloth was still behind his back.

"Bought it."

"Is it all risk?"

"Yes."

Lu Ran secretly breathed a sigh of relief, "That's good."

Seeing that there was nothing serious about them, the truck driver told them that the ambulance would arrive in about ten minutes, and then drove away in the truck.

The two stood by the side of the road. Ji Zebei took out his mobile phone and called the insurance company. After a short wait, the ambulance arrived.

Lu Ran carried the box of seafood and followed Ji Zebei into the ambulance.

After arriving at the hospital, Ji Zebei followed the doctor to treat the wound, while Lu Ran waited outside, feeling very uneasy.

I don't know if Ji Zebei's injury is serious, the other party didn't let her see the wound from the beginning to the end.

After waiting anxiously for half an hour, Ji Zebei finally came out of the emergency room. His right hand was wrapped in thick gauze, and his handsome face had already turned red.

She walked forward a few steps, "What did the doctor say? Is it serious?"

"It's not serious, it's just four stitches."

"Blame me……"

Ji Zebei smiled wryly, "It's really your fault. My wound can't touch water. If there is any need in life, I will come to you. Do you have any objection?"

Lu Ran shook his head like a drum, "No objection."

"I just received a call from the insurance company, and the car has been towed away."

"I will pay." Lu Ran said.

Although it must be a large sum, it was her fault that the car fell into the ditch, and she could not shirk this responsibility.

"never mind."

"I can't forget it. I drove the car into the ditch. I have to be responsible."

"Are you rich?"

"I..." She had no money, and she was about to jingle like poverty.

"You take good care of me. As long as you are on call and take good care of me, maybe I won't let you pay if I'm happy."

Lu Ran scratched her head, feeling that Ji Zebei was quite sympathetic to her, but she still had to be responsible for the mistakes she made, and she had no intention of evading responsibility.

"You were injured because of me. It's only natural to take care of you. I also drove the car into the ditch. I can't let you pay for the maintenance."

Ji Zebei didn't expect her to be so stubborn, and when she was about to say something, she hurriedly said, "That's it, let's go."

She carried the box of seafood and strode out.

Looking at her thin and small back, Ji Zebei shook his head helplessly.

He followed, and the two walked out of the hospital and stopped a taxi on the side of the road.

The car drove to Ji Fanzhai first, and Lu Ran told the driver to wait for her, then got out of the car, and hurried into the shop with a box of seafood.

In the past, it was Ji Zebei who delivered the seafood early in the morning, but today the person who delivered the seafood was actually a little girl, and the young chefs who were busy in the kitchen stared wide-eyed.

Lu Ran glanced around the huge kitchen, but did not see anyone from Xu Jiajia.

She put down the seafood box, smiled at the chefs, and said, "Boss Ji has something to do, please ask me to drop by and deliver the seafood for him."
