Chapter 8
Grandma Gu got up from the chair unhurriedly.

She turned round and round around Su Yao, with a pair of scorched eyes and a smile.

"The Buddha said that all success is due to fate. Since Shaoting likes you, I will give you this bodhi rosary."

Su Yao originally thought that what she was facing was Grandma Gu's exposure, but she never thought that she would not say anything and even gave her a string of rosary beads.

She quickly pushed the rosary back: "Grandma, I can't take this rosary."

Just looking at the color, it is an old object, since Grandma Gu lives in a temple.

It means that this rosary has been with her for a long time, and she cannot afford such an expensive gift.

"Here, you can continue." Grandma Gu turned around, walked towards the room, and quietly tossed a sentence: "Next time you come to see me, remember to bring a big fat boy."

Su Yao wanted to follow up and return the rosary, but Gu Shaoting put the rosary on Su Yao's hand without saying a word.

"What is given to you is yours. You are welcome as a family."

Su Yao deserves it. How can she be considered a family?

She is just a substitute...

After the two left, Grandma Gu came out of the room again, with a wider smile on her face.

"This Su Tao is really an old fox. He sent the eldest daughter to me because he was reluctant to part with his second daughter. No wonder he agreed to me so easily."

On the side, Aunt Meng, the maid who has followed Grandma Gu for many years, asked in a low voice, "Madam, should we tell the young master about this?"

Grandma Gu smiled meaningfully: "No need, Shaoting is a good match for her, isn't it?"

……

Su Yao and Gu Shaoting are on their way to the airport by car.

In a narrow and quiet space, it is depressing in itself.

The most important thing is that she is still sitting on Gu Shaoting's lap.

Knowing that this man was inhumane before, she was more or less lucky.

But now, her nerves were so tense that she could no longer be tense.

She wanted to tell Gu Shaoting that she could sit still, but seeing those eyes, she could only pray,
suddenly
Su Yao's cell phone vibrates.

She groaned inwardly.

"You have a message?" The man behind reminded her.

Su Yao hesitated.

But under the man's eyes, she still carefully took out the phone with her cold fingers.

After seeing the word "Susan" again, she quickly put the phone back into her pocket.

"What's wrong?" asked the man behind him.

"Nothing, not particularly important news."

Gu Shaoting narrowed his eyes slightly, and looked at Su Yao with a cold light: "A man?"

"Woman, it's a woman, she's a woman." Su Yao said it three times.

Gu Shaoting raised his eyebrows: "Call over."

Su Yao's palms were sweating, her heart was jumping out of her mouth, under Gu Shaoting's watchful eyes.

She bit the bullet and dialed Susan's cell phone number. Just as the call was connected, she rushed to say: "Mom, tell my sister that Shaoting and I are fine now, and we are going out for our honeymoon this afternoon."

Susan over there understood Su Yao's words like a human being, and she said: "then you and Shaoting have fun outside, and when you come back, go home and see your father."

The phone's voice was not loud, but Gu Shaoting could just hear some of it, so she hung up the phone.

Gu Shaoting hugged her into his arms: "Call Mom from now on, no need to get out of the car."

"Oh, I see."

Su Yao agreed obediently, but her back was covered in sweat.
