Journey to the West: I want to be sanctified

Chapter 213 Eternal life will never leave hell, once you come out, you will be a saint

Chapter 213 Eternal life can't go out of hell, once you get out, you will be a saint

Under the eighteen layers of hell.

A white poodle remained motionless, as if listening to something.

In the dim light, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva closed his eyes tightly, clasped his hands together, and the invisible Buddha voice spread in all directions.

After a long time, after Zhou Yin left the underworld, the white poodle suddenly said:

"Master, Zhou Yin is gone."

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva heard the words, opened his eyes, and said slowly:

"Zhou Yin, in the realm of celestial beings, has no duties in the heavenly court.

The Heavenly Court ordered this person to preside over the promotion of the Merit Book, and I think this person must have something unique. "

Di Ting said:

"Master, do you need me to monitor him?"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva shook his head.

"I'm not very worried about this person, listen carefully, don't eavesdrop on his voice.

He is a celestial monk who does not serve in the heavenly court, but is valued by the Jade Emperor. His background must be amazing.

Maybe there is a treasure in him that restrains you. If you go to monitor him, you will be discovered if you don't keep it.

At that time, even if it is me, it is difficult to guarantee that I can save you. "

After listening to the truth, he nodded movedly, the master really puts his own safety first.

The master would not let him take risks for his own benefit. He listened to nothing and felt sorry for the master, so he said:

"Master, the Ten Kings of Hades are now going to refine the merit book together, do you need me to inquire about the news?"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva shook his head: "No need, let nature take its course.

The merit book records the merits of mortals.

Merits and sins are all in units of shares.

After this treasure is refined, it may be a good thing. "

Di Ting looked at Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva strangely, and said:

"Master, are you not worried at all?"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva was rarely in a relaxed mood, and said:

"What are you worried about? The evil spirits in the entire Three Realms are all saved by me, and I have never worried."

Di Ting smiled wryly, "Master, that's not what I mean, I want to say that the heavenly court ordered the underworld to refine the merit book.

Spreading the theory of the merit book to the world, is this aimed at Buddhism? "

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva kept silent, but pretended to listen patiently.

Listening to know that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva meant to let himself continue, so he opened his mouth and continued:
"Master, earlier, you arranged for mortal Buddhist disciples to preach the existence of hell.

It is to make people afraid of going to hell after death, so that they can accumulate virtue and do good deeds while they are alive, and reduce their sins.

Ordinary Buddhist disciples also took this opportunity to spread the meaning of Buddhism and enlighten others. For a time, the number of Buddhist incense sticks in Chang'an City surpassed that of Heaven.

And not long after, the heavenly court ordered the underworld to refine the merit book.

The merit book records the merits and sins of mortals in detail, so the heavenly court can rely on this thing to fight back for the incense in the world, and even snatch the incense that originally belonged to Buddhism.

So, isn't it aimed at Buddhism? ? "

After listening, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva smiled slightly:
"Since the merit book is called the merit book, it naturally recognizes the theory of merit. Since merit is recognized, how can we target it?"

"Amitabha, even if it is as you said, so what if you target my Buddhist sect?

As long as mortals increase their merits and virtues, they will have fewer sins after death and will not have to fall into hell to suffer.

In this way, the number of evil spirits in hell will also decrease, which is really a matter of boundless merit. "

Hearing this, Di Ting suddenly shut up and stopped talking.

He suddenly remembered that the owner of his family, although born in Buddhism, was named Bodhisattva.

But "eating and drinking" does not rely on Buddhism, just because the system of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's merits and virtues is different from Buddhism.

His merits and virtues come purely by saving the evil spirits of hell by himself.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva doesn't care whether ordinary people make offerings to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva or not.

Because the merits brought to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva by saving hungry ghosts are far more than the merits brought by mortal worship!

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva clearly distinguishes which is more important and which is less.

What about Buddhism?Say something outrageous.

Even if Buddhism is destroyed, what does it have to do with Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva?

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva guards the eighteen levels of hell, who can replace him?
Even if it could be replaced, who would want to do such drudgery?

Forever and ever, never come out.

If Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva can escape from the eighteen hells, there is only one possibility.

That is, he saved all the evil spirits in the world and emptied the hell, and that merit was enough to directly sanctify him.

As the saying goes, if you can't live in hell, you will be a saint once you get out!
Every time I think of this, Di Ting looks at Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in fear and awe.

Own master, is it possible to succeed?

If he succeeds... Di Ting fell into fantasy.

At this time, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva closed his eyes, not knowing what he was thinking.

For him, perhaps, Yuan Shoucheng deserves more attention than that Zhou Yin.

After all, Yuan Shoucheng also made a similar ambition.

……

Waking up early in the morning, Yuan Shoucheng took the fortune teller and Yuan Tiangang straight to Chang'an City God's Temple.

"Uncle, you bring these fortune-telling things, will they let you in?"

Yuan Shoucheng did not answer, but answered the question with facts.

Miao Zhu, who was in charge of Chenghuang Temple, did not stop Yuan Shoucheng.

After arriving in the temple, Yuan Shoucheng began to worship from the Town God's Hall, one by one.

Until, finally worshiping the Jade Emperor.

After worshiping, Yuan Shoucheng knelt down in the open space of the Town God's Temple and said respectfully:

"Please grant the merit book from the underworld!"

After shouting three times in a row, there was no response.

Yuan Shoucheng kept repeating, but the surroundings remained unchanged.

Inside the Town God's Temple, a few scattered passers-by came to the side curiously, looked at Yuan Shoucheng and said:
"Isn't this Mr. Yuan who tells the fortune at the door?"

Yuan Shoucheng turned his head and said with a smile, "Old man, you actually recognize me?"

The old man looked proud, "That's natural, I'm too familiar with this Town God's Temple, I even know how many vendors there are outside."

"However, what are you shouting here? What is the merit book?"

Yuan Shoucheng explained to the old man what the merit book was.

After listening, the old man took a deep breath, "According to you, this merit book is indeed a good thing! However, how could such a good thing come down to the mortal world? Are you playing tricks here to attract others to find you?" Do you want to tell a fortune?"

After all, the old man felt that Yuan Shoucheng was sensationalizing, so he shook his head and left.

After the old man left, Yuan Shoucheng continued to shout.

Another passer-by couldn't bear it, so he came over and said to Yuan Tiangang:
"Young man, isn't your father sick?

I saw it in the countryside, this kind is called hysteria!
Once people get it, they tend to talk nonsense, just like your father!
But don't panic, you listen to me, take care of him and heal him, first slap him with your right hand, and then..."

"I'll give you a slap first!"
