Chapter 209 The Past Amitabha Sutra

Chapter 209 The Past Amitabha Sutra

Putting down the last volume of "The Classic of Martial Arts", Li Yizhi picked up the first volume of "The Classic of Taoism".

The opening chapter of Taoism: The world is like a sea of suffering, and the human body is like a raft crossing the sea. However, the sea of suffering is boundless, and the raft will eventually decay. As long as the spirit and soul are strong, you can abandon the raft and swim to the other side of the sea of suffering with your own strength.

Martial arts refines the body, transcending the other shore with the incorruptible body; cultivating Taoism and refining the soul, transcends the other shore with the indestructible soul.

Although the roads of the two are not connected, they lead to the same goal by different routes, both of which are for the pursuit of immortality that is incorruptible and immortal.

Seeing this, Li Yizhi thought again, what is the core of his cultivation system?
His cultivation method belongs to the martial arts system, which pursues the incorruption of the body, but also pursues the use and control of energy.

From this point of view, his cultivation system is stronger than Yangshen's system.

Because the martial arts system in Yangshen World focuses on the development of the physical body, from body training to orifice refining, no matter how many flesh and blood are derived and ever-changing, the basic point is the physical body.

The advantage of this is that it can develop the potential of the physical body to the extreme.

But the disadvantages are also obvious, that is, it is impossible to gather all the strength of the whole body at one point like Li Yizhi, so that a stronger combat power can be erupted, and it is impossible to form a circular feedback between the physical body and the energy core.

From the perspective of the cultivation process, it must be much more difficult.

Withdrawing his thoughts, Li Yizhi continued to scroll down quickly.

Cultivating the Tao and refining the soul is divided into ten levels, namely: calming the mind, coming out of the shell, night tour, day tour, driving things, manifesting, possessing the body, seizing the house, thunder disaster, and Yangshen.

Compared with "Wu Jing", "Tao Jing" is full of a lot of nonsense, most of which are instilling how to be loyal to the emperor and patriotism, and cultivate noble morals. The real way of cultivating Taoism is very little.

Especially after seizing ghosts and immortals, it is either an empty theory, or it is simply a whole piece of nonsense, with very little useful information.

Therefore, it only took Li Yizhi half an hour to finish flipping through 49 books.

Putting down the last book of Taoism, Li Yizhi suddenly thought of 'God'.

Before that, he didn't think that people had souls, and the essence of thinking was brain waves. The so-called "God" was more likely to be equivalent to spiritual power.

But now, Li Yizhi has come to understand that 'god' is the soul.

In the world of Yangshen, there is also the existence of boxing intentions, which are generally only comprehended by the strong at the martial saint level, and the peak human immortals can even materialize the boxing intentions, and their power can shake the space.

He used to feel mentally exhausted every time he used his fist. The main reason was that his soul was too weak.

Unlike the Martial Saints in this world of the Yang God, they have already united their soul and body, and their souls are extremely powerful, and they are not afraid of consumption at all.

"However, as long as I practice Taoism, I will use my fist without any scruples in the future."

Li Yizhi thought to himself, although he included a lot of methods of forging gods in "The Code of Heaven and Kun", compared with the cultivation system of this world, they are simply trivial.

"Now, I also have a preliminary understanding of Yangshen's cultivation system, and it's time to take out the "Amitabha Sutra of the Past."

Li Yizhi picked up the "Book of Martial Arts" again, and began to carefully examine and sense each volume.

Because the "Past Amitabha Sutra" is hidden in one of the books.

He penetrated into the book with blood energy, and the speed of inspection was very fast.

Suddenly, Li Yizhi's eyes lit up, and he said to himself, "I found it."

His palm brushed over the back cover of the book, and a layer of confetti emerged on one side of the cover, revealing a slightly dark golden paper, densely packed with scriptures and pictures in small characters, Appears to be gold leaf.

When Li Yizhi mentioned the scriptures, he found that the scriptures were like silk scrolls, a large piece, extremely thin, one meter long and wide!
It is densely packed with words, and in the middle is a golden Buddha statue, sitting in the void, with countless sun, moon and stars revolving around it.

Looking at this Buddha statue, Li Yizhi felt as if he saw himself a thousand times before.

It seems that there are countless Buddhist principles presented on this Buddha statue, which makes people unable to help but immerse themselves in it and develop the Buddha nature deep in their hearts.

"It's such a powerful Buddha statue. Even if I am a master of painting, it is difficult to draw it."

Li Yizhi secretly thought that the Buddha statue is powerful, and it seems to be enlightened just by looking at it, which is more direct than any other exercises.

He was about to start reading impatiently when he heard footsteps outside, so he hurriedly put away the scriptures and put them in his arms.

Mr. Tu walked in. Looking at the labels on the bookshelves around him, he couldn't help but said happily, "Mr. Li is the one who came up with such a method. Not only is it easy to classify, but it will also be easier for us to find books in the future."

"Tu Lao is over the top. The libraries of the various families of the human race are classified in this way. In fact, we can continue to subdivide, label each book, and then compile a catalog of book titles. It will be easier to find books by then. .”

Li Yizhi stood up and said with a smile: "However, this method of division is time-consuming, and for your pure fox clan, since there are not many people, there is no need to be so meticulous."

Old Man Tu shook his head and said, "It doesn't need to be so troublesome, as long as you can find the book, it doesn't matter if it takes some time. By the way, Mr. Li, dinner is already ready, and you have been busy all afternoon. Let's continue tomorrow."

"Okay!" Li Yizhi nodded.

There are about a hundred pure foxes in the Fox Valley, and only a dozen of them have activated their spiritual wisdom, and the others are ordinary foxes.

In a cave, more than a dozen foxes who had activated their intelligence gathered for a meal.

As soon as Li Yizhi walked in, Xiao Xuan hurriedly ran to his side, pointing to a roasted pheasant on the table, meaning it was his dinner.

The other foxes are also roasted pheasants, and the meat is cut with a knife and fork to avoid dirty paws.

After Li Yizhi sat down, he looked at the group of foxes who seemed to be very curious about him, and looked at him with clever eyes.

Tu Lao coughed and said, "Okay, let's eat."

……

After dinner, Li Yizhi borrowed three sticks of incense from Mr. Tu, and came to the stone room where he lived, which was quite spacious.

After lighting a stick of incense, Li Yizhi sat cross-legged on the stone bed, slowly closed his eyes, and soon his mind became clear, and he entered the stage of meditation.

Afterwards, the "Pagoda Visualization and Out of Shell Method" in "Tao Jing" slowly came to mind.

This "Pagoda Visualization Method for Emerging from the Shell" requires people to visualize a seven-storey extremely high pagoda, and then climb up step by step, and finally make a vigorous leap on the highest level, so that the spirit will come out of the body.

For ordinary people, it takes a lot of mental effort to practice this "Pagoda Visualization Method", just to visualize the pagoda, let alone visualize yourself climbing up step by step.

But for Li Yizhi, it was as easy as eating and drinking, because he has the ability to visualize, and he directly sketched the seven-story pagoda in his mind, which was very clear and detailed.

Then, he visualized his figure in the pagoda, and climbed to the top of the pagoda step by step.

In the end, Li Yizhi leaped vigorously, and he immediately felt the scene in front of him change, and at the same time, his body was light and light, as if he had no weight.

He looked around and saw himself sitting cross-legged on the stone bed.

This is a very exciting feeling, like in a dream, but extremely real, and at the same time, there is an extremely strong sense of freedom.

This sense of freedom comes from being free from the shackles of the body, and can fly freely in the sky.

"According to the Daoist scriptures, the soul that leaves the body for the first time will feel a sense of discomfort, and it is necessary to gradually grow the soul to eliminate this discomfort."

"But I don't feel that discomfort at all, and I even have the urge to get out of the range of incense."

"That's right, the physical body and the soul are actually complementary to each other. A person with a strong body will naturally have a strong soul."

"With my current cultivation base, the soul is naturally not comparable to ordinary people."

"That is to say, once I cultivate the Tao, I can directly step through entering meditation, leaving the body, and even going out at night."

Thinking of this, Li Yizhi slowly floated away, trying to get out of the range of the incense.

If there is no discomfort, then it has reached the realm of night travel.
