All the disciples below were in an uproar when they heard these words.What kind of place is the underworld, it is the place of reincarnation, and it is shrouded in boundless Yin Qi all the year round. If you stay in that place for a long time, it will be extremely unfavorable to your own cultivation.

Amitabha Buddha heard the words and said: "Goodness, goodness, it is really a great blessing for my Buddhist school to have such a disciple under your school."

"Ksitigarbha, you have this kind of heart, which shows that you have deeply grasped the essence of Buddhism. I now canonize you as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, but this is not a trivial matter at this time. You have to think clearly?" Amitabha said to Ksitigarbha.

"To show my Buddha's mercy, my disciples are willing to stay in the underworld for a long time!: Ksitigarbha resolutely said.

"Okay, since you have this ambition, how can we not fulfill it with you, tomorrow I will send someone to escort you to the underworld!" Amitabha said.

"One disciple is enough for this trip, but it's not necessary!" Dizang said.

"Forget it, I will accompany you to the underworld as a teacher tomorrow!" Zhunti said upon seeing this.

The next day, in the underworld, the Buddha's light burst out suddenly above the dark sky of the underworld. "Who is so bold, dare to come to the Six Realms of Reincarnation to make trouble!" There was a loud shout, but it was the King of Hades who was in charge of the underworld, who arrived with a group of Yin soldiers.

At this time, I only heard the Buddha's name: "Namo Amitabha Buddha" from the sky, and saw a Bodhisattva descending.Under the seat of the Bodhisattva is a monster that looks like a lion, but it is a mount of Ksitigarbha "Ting".And the Bodhisattva wore a Vairocana crown on his head, held a tin staff in one hand, a lotus flower in the other, or a banner or a jewel, and said: "The poor monk Ksitigarbha, I came here to cross all the hungry ghosts in hell, so that they can escape the sea of ​​suffering."

Hearing these words, the King of Hades felt unhappy for a while, I am the person in charge of the underworld, if you get rid of all the evil spirits in this underworld, then I am not a bare commander.So, Yama said: "I don't care whether you are heaven or earth, the underworld is the place of reincarnation of the six realms, so don't talk nonsense here."

Zhunti heard the words, smiled, and said: "Yan Wang, why do you ask questions knowingly? I came this time, but I came here for the hell!"

"I'm afraid this matter is inappropriate. The underworld is in the east, and you are a saint from the west. If you intervene in this matter, I'm afraid the saints from the east will not agree." King Hades said boldly.

Zhunti heard the words, shook his head and said: "The hell is not the hell in the east, but the hell of the common people. Besides, countless evil spirits and fierce ghosts in the six cycles of reincarnation cannot be saved. "But where are the saints in the East, the villain is not easy to explain!" Hades said with a look of embarrassment on his face.

"You don't need to worry about this. Empress Nuwa has always been pure and doesn't care about disputes. As for Sanqing, I will support myself." Zhun Ti said.

"Back then, the Empress Dowager of your witch tribe was so compassionate that she did not hesitate to die to transform into the underworld. I was by the side at that time, and fellow Daoist Houtu asked me to take care of the underworld. Therefore, although San Qing will be dissatisfied with this matter, but But there won't be any big moves, please rest assured, King Hades." Zhun Ti said.

"Then this matter is up to the sage!" Hades thought for a while and said.

"I see the place where ghosts are entangled in the Yinshan Mountain of the underworld. Why don't you let my disciple station there!" Zhunti said.

"It's fine if the sage decides, I'll take my leave first!" Yama Wang said.

After speaking, Hades led the people away.

After Yan Wang left, Zhunti said to Dizang: "You go to Yinshan Mountain. I left first for the teacher. If there is anything you can't handle, you can come to me."

"Disciple understands, disciple respectfully sends teacher off," Dizang clasped his palms together and said.

"Okay, see you and my master and apprentice someday!" After finishing speaking, Zhunti disappeared.

Ksitigarbha recited the scriptures and headed towards the Yin mountain. Along the way, those ordinary little ghosts knelt down one after another, asking for refuge.

When Ksitigarbha came to Yinshan Mountain, he pointed to the seat to listen to it, and it disappeared. However, Ksitigarbha turned into a cassock covering his right shoulder, holding a lotus in his left hand and Shi Wuwei in his right, sitting on the lotus platform.Or there is a banner, holding a lotus flower in the left hand and a precious pearl in the right hand, making a great wish: "May I spend all the kalpas in the future, and all living beings who suffer from sins will be freed. Like before, but after hundreds of millions of kalpas, there should be all the hells in the world, as well as the three evil ways and all sinful beings, vowing to rescue them. Let them leave the hells and evil places, animals, hungry ghosts, etc. Those who have repaid their sins, etc., will do their best. After becoming a Buddha, I will then become enlightened. Only when all sentient beings have been liberated can I realize Bodhi. If the hell is not empty, I vow not to become a Buddha. So good, so good! Namo Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva!"

As soon as these words came out, the Heavenly Dao suddenly sensed, and a golden light of merit fell, which instantly submerged into the body of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. With the help of merit, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva also broke through to the early stage of quasi-sage.

The six are: Tantuo Ksitigarbha. Holding Dizang, holding the Vajra Banner in the left hand, and performing the fearless seal in the right hand, it is dedicated to helping the Asura.

Ksitigarbha, holding a tin stick in his left hand and a wish seal in his right hand, removes the hindrances of the eight sufferings for others, and specializes in saving humanity.The so-called eight sufferings are birth suffering, old age suffering, sickness suffering, death suffering, meeting hatred and hatred, separation from love, not getting what one wants, and suffering of the five skandhas, which are captured by the truth of suffering.

Sunlight Ksitigarbha, with wishful beads in his left hand and seal of Dharma in his right hand, illuminates the five declines of heaven and man and eliminates their distress, and specializes in saving the way of heaven.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva appeared behind the golden body, stood still, and recited scriptures.Immediately, streaks of pure and flawless golden light emanated from Jizo's side.All those ghosts who were shrouded in golden light suddenly lost their blackness, revealing their original faces one by one.After the hostility disappeared from their faces, under the golden light, the ghosts showed expressions of relief one by one, gathered around Ksitigarbha, and listened attentively to his chanting.

The Buddhist scriptures have the effect of purifying the mind and clearing the mind, which is very obvious for most ghosts who are confused by the evil way. Those evil ghosts who have been rescued by the Buddha's light will soon be freed, their sins will be eliminated, and they will meet the requirements of reincarnation and reincarnation. up.

After seeing the power of Ksitigarbha, more and more ghosts refused to leave.After practicing the Taoism handed down by Dizang, these ghosts who stayed with Dizang discovered that they can also help to save evil spirits, and each time they are saved, they can also gain a little merit, which in turn can be used as an example. Help Ksitigarbha to attract more people, so Ksitigarbha gradually gathered a lot of power.

At first, only a few passing ghosts were saved by him, but after a long time, it spread among those ghosts.So the ghosts of the underworld began to gather slowly towards the place where the Tibetans were.Listen to Dizang talk about longitude.

Every time Ksitigarbha turns into a ghost, God will give him a little merit.After discovering that this method was effective, Ksitigarbha stayed here, concentrating on collecting merits and virtues.
