Many friends asked me, what exactly do you want to express in this "Night Watcher" series?
"Resist the darkness and protect the light", this is the inner thinking of the people's police, the group that made the most sacrifices in peacetime.I'm proud to be a police officer, and I want to share the police's story.If the spirit of the rule of law can be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people while telling police stories, it would be even more desirable.

Not long ago, at the press conference of Tencent Pictures, I said: "The 'Night Watcher' series will continue the true, scientific and rigorous criminal science and technology background of the 'Forensic Qin Ming' series, but will be developed and organized in the police force. A breakthrough in confrontation." This is my true long-cherished wish.

I was also asked, is the "Night Watch" series telling the story of some young superheroes?I said no.We all know that as long as it is a true description, there will naturally be no superheroes.The Night Watcher organization actually has a real prototype, that is, many expert studios under the Physical Evidence Appraisal Center of the Ministry of Public Security.Respected old experts led professional elites from all over the country to form a studio, which can be said to be invincible. They solved one after another of mysterious, difficult and unsolved cases, and made great contributions.I just took them as the prototype and let a group of energetic young people be the protagonists.

Isn't it just the state that our public security team should be in the prime of life and full of vigor?

However, it is really difficult for me, who lacks imagination, to construct a brand new worldview.Fortunately, with the help of friends from Yuanqi Society, we changed the outline again and again and adjusted the main line again and again.It took a year, and after more than a dozen revisions, large and small, our story structure finally gradually became clear.

I'm finally able to start writing "Night Watch 2: Dark Potential".

Why did it go through so many revisions?This starts with the publication of the first part of "Night Watchman".

In fact, before creating the "Night Watcher" series, we already had a complete story line.Unfortunately, as a science student, Lao Qin still lacks writing ability. In the first part of "Night Watcher", many shortcomings were also exposed. After the first volume of "Night Watch" was published, I carefully read the feedback from readers and friends.Although most readers enthusiastically encouraged Lao Qin, many readers also put forward many criticisms and suggestions.Whether it is encouragement or criticism, Lao Qin is here and sincerely bows to thank you!The applause, cheers and encouragement from readers gave me confidence on the road of writing; the criticism from readers also gave me the motivation to improve myself and fill in the shortcomings.

In order to make the "Night Watch" series closer to reality, to live up to readers' expectations, and to make the whole story more chewy, we have re-adjusted the main line of the story based on the opinions of readers and friends.Personally, I think the current version is more suspenseful and exciting, and even I am very excited when I think about starting to write.

In any case, for me who have been writing the "Forensic Qin Ming" series, the "Night Watcher" series is a brand new beginning and an important milestone for me to break through the bottleneck of writing.When creating the "Night Watchman" series, I can always feel that my mindset is constantly being broken, and the sky in front of my eyes is getting wider and wider.I think this should be progress.

While the results don't have to be perfect, the process is fascinating.

Therefore, the "Night Watcher" series is very important to Lao Qin's creative path.I know that my dear readers and friends will definitely join hands with me to overcome the hurdles on the road of writing together.As I write this, my heart suddenly bursts with warmth.It is my readers and friends who have accompanied me through these fulfilling five years, and it is our joint efforts that have made the story of public security forensic medicine widely spread.

The stories in the "Night Watch" series are very complicated, and it takes three books to restore them clearly.
