Chapter 6 Don't Leave Me

Su Yantang quickly cooked two bowls of tomato and egg noodles and brought them out.

Green scallions are dotted on the golden-fried eggs, and the red tomato soup base sets off the whiteness and tenderness of the noodles. Hot air comes out of the bowl, with a little bit of smoke, entering Lu Jingyao's nose.

His long eyelashes trembled slightly, and he raised his eyes to look at Su Yantang.

Her little face was flushed red by the heat, and her eyes were shining brightly, as if the sky was full of stars.

Lu Jingyao was slightly startled, got up and walked to Su Yantang's side, took one of the bowls, and put it on the dining table.

The dining table is a long one, very big and long. Lu Jingyao usually sits at the main seat, while Su Yantang sits on his left.

After the two sat down, Su Yantang handed a pair of chopsticks to Lu Jingyao, and said proactively, "Try it quickly to see if it tastes good."

Lu Jingyao took the chopsticks in silence, pursed his thin lips, as if he wanted to say something, but he never said it.

He picked a chopstick of noodles and put it in his mouth.

The noodles were chewy and were perfectly blended with the tomato soup base. They were also stained with the smell of chopped green onion and eggs, and mixed with the faint fragrance of Su Yantang's body.

Lu Jingyao narrowed his eyes slightly, looked at Su Yantang, and said in a deep voice, "It's delicious."

Su Yantang breathed a sigh of relief, then buried herself in eating the noodles in her bowl.

Seeing this, Lu Jingyao's eyes flickered slightly, and he ate in silence.

This bowl of hot tomato and egg noodles is the warmest and most satisfying meal he has eaten this month.

My cold stomach seemed to warm up under the warm noodle soup.

Lu Jingyao ate up a bowl of noodles, which really surprised Su Yantang.

In her memory, Lu Jingyao always ate very little and was very picky eater, so his stomach was always not very good.

This seemed to be the first time she saw Lu Jingyao eat so much.

Su Yantang blinked, and wrote down the incident, the more she pleases Lu Jingyao, the higher the chance of surviving.

The hands hanging on both sides were slowly clenched, she lowered her eyes slightly, pursed her lips lightly, and glanced at Lu Jingyao.

Lu Jingyao had a panoramic view of Su Yantang's performance, and tapped the table with his slender and bony fingers. After two seconds of silence, with an emotion that Su Yantang didn't understand, he said in a low voice, "What do you want?"

After a pause, he lowered his voice, "Don't leave me."

Apart from this, he can give her anything.

Hearing these words, Su Yantang was startled at first, and then overjoyed.

"Apart from not leaving you, promise me anything?" she asked.

"En." Lu Jingyao responded.

Su Yantang leaned forward, resting her small hands on the dining table, her fingertips were still pink, and they were so tightly pressed against the table, with a bit of nervousness and hidden excitement.

"Can I publish the novel I wrote on the website?"

In her previous life, it was because she never published it and only put it in the computer, so it was stolen by others, and her hard work became someone else's property.

In this life, she will never make the same mistakes again.

Su Yantang stared at Lu Jingyao closely, her gaze was like a torch, and there was a bit of anticipation on her small face.

Lu Jingyao half-closed his eyes, tapped his fingers, and his voice was melodious, with a specific sense of rhythm.

Silence spread between the two.

Just when Su Yantang thought he would refuse, she heard Lu Jingyao say, "Yes."
