Chapter 219 On the Tao
Lao Tzu stood there, holding the green ox in his hand, his expression sometimes hesitated, sometimes excited, sometimes nervous, sometimes awakened.

It was only for a moment, and various expressions appeared on Lao Tzu's face.

Su Yuan stood there, staring at Lao Tzu closely, feeling a little nervous in his heart.

Although he talked eloquently in front of Lao Tzu just now, he didn't have a bottom line in his heart.

You know, the person standing in front of you is the author of the Tao Te Ching. That "Tao Te Ching" has been handed down to the world and has influenced thousands of years. Even in modern times, countless people are studying it, and they haven't even fully understood the "Tao Te Ching".

From this we can see how wise this old man is.

I can't hope to convince Lao Tzu with a few words, I just hope that he won't stop me from killing Ji Chang, then I have achieved my goal.

After a long while, I saw that Lao Tzu's face gradually calmed down, and he smiled slightly at Su Yuan, and said, "The theory of Taoist friends has really benefited me a lot, and it almost deceived me. It can be changed, even if the big merchants have four strategies for governing the country and the hearts of the people, they can't change the way of heaven."

Hearing this, Su Yuan couldn't help but shook his head, and said coldly: "If that's the case, even if Xiqi violates human relations, he still wants to replace Shang with Zhou?"

Lao Tzu smiled and said, "Since it was recognized by the heavens, it cannot be changed."

Su Yuan snorted coldly, and said: "It can be seen from this that this way of heaven is really nonsense. No wonder in your "Tao Te Ching", you will say such nonsense as 'God is not benevolent, and everything is a humble dog' .”

This sentence "Heaven is not benevolent, treats everything as a straw dog" comes from the "Tao Te Ching", which means that heaven and earth do not care about kindness, and treat everything like a straw dog, allowing everything to fend for itself.

Hearing this sentence, Lao Tzu's eyes lit up, and said: "This sentence is indeed the same as my way, but what is this "Tao Te Ching"?"

Su Yuan was startled, then suddenly remembered that Lao Tzu hadn't written the "Tao Te Ching" yet.

At that moment, Su Yuan had a thought, and blurted out: "Tao can be said, very Tao. Name can be named, very famous."

Hearing Su Yuan's words, I was overjoyed, and said, "The beginning of the world is unknown; the mother of all things is named."

After saying this sentence, Lao Tzu was about to ask, how did Su Yuan know what he had enlightened.

Su Yuan didn't let Lao Tzu open his mouth at all, and continued: "Therefore, there is always nothing, and I want to see its beauty; there is always, and I want to see its essence."

Lao Tzu continued again: "These two come from the same place but have different names. They are both called Xuan. Xuan is also Xuan, the gate of all wonders."

There was a look of approval in Laozi's eyes, these Taoisms are exactly what Laozi usually understands.

It’s just that although Lao Tzu thinks the way he enlightened is wonderful, no one talks about it at all. Although there is a disciple Xuandu, that Xuandu is not qualified to discuss it with him.

As for Yuanshi Tianzun, Tongtian Jiaozhu and others, everyone has their own way, so it is impossible to talk about it.

At this time when Su Yuan said it, I suddenly felt a sense of bosom friend, and felt extremely comfortable in my heart, looking forward to Su Yuan's continued speaking.

Sure enough, Su Yuan continued: "Everything in the world is born of being, and being is born of non-existence. Being and non-being are born of each other, difficult and easy are complementary, long and short are compared, high and low are compared, voices and voices are in harmony, and front and back follow each other."

Lao Tzu nodded and replied: "Tao begets one, one begets two, two begets three, three begets all things."

In this way, each of the two said a sentence, and what they said was the language in the "Tao Te Ching".

However, at the beginning, when Su Yuan said something, Lao Tzu immediately responded.

But later, after Su Yuan finished speaking, Lao Tzu needed to think for a while before responding.

Later, after Su Yuan finished speaking, Lao Tzu was able to answer after a long time.

You must know that although what the two of them said is the essence that I have comprehended after thousands of years of comprehension, the current Lao Tzu has not sorted out all these essences, so I need to think carefully when answering.

But Su Yuan was much simpler, he ordered Tianhe to search out the "Tao Te Ching", and just read it one by one according to the above words.

So on the surface, it seems that Su Yuan is unrestrained and unrestrained, while Laozi is thinking hard, but in fact, Su Yuan is using "Laozi thousands of years later" to deal with "Laozi now".

When the two of them had spoken dozens of sentences, Su Yuan opened his mouth and said, "Would it be possible to be inseparable if you embrace each other?"

After hearing this sentence, I thought hard for a long time, but couldn't answer, so I could only look up at Su Yuan.

Su Yuan opened his mouth and said, "Dedicated to softness, can you be like a baby?"

After listening, Lao Tzu immediately became enlightened, but then frowned tightly, thinking about the next sentence.

After a long time, I raised my head again and looked at Su Yuan.

Su Yuan said: "Will it be as good as a flaw if you remove the Xuanjian?"

Lao Tzu looked suddenly enlightened again.

In this way, every time Su Yuan uttered a word, I felt something, and fell into deep thought again.

After Su Yuan said another ten sentences, when I looked at Su Yuan expectantly again, I saw that Su Yuan had already shook his head and stopped talking.

After listening to so many quintessential words, Laozi happened to be exactly the same as what he had realized, and even some of the words that he had pondered in his mind and hadn't formed yet were pointed out by Su Yuan.

It's like a layer of window paper has been separated, and now it is pierced all of a sudden, and naturally it suddenly becomes clear.

At that moment, Lao Tzu was in a cheerful mood and laughed loudly: "The way of Taoist friends is very similar to mine, which is really refreshing. These dozens of sentences are the essence of the way of doing nothing."

Su Yuan shook his head and said, "No, I just said [-]% of it."

Hearing this sentence, Lao Tzu couldn't help but look shocked.

Just now Su Yuan shook his head and said nothing, I thought this was all, but I didn't know it was less than [-]%.

Doesn't this mean that the remaining [-]% will be even more exciting?

This time, I felt itchy and hoped that Su Yuan would continue talking.

Su Yuan shook his head, and said: "My cultivation is superficial, so it's really hard for me to insist on discussing the Tao with a saint. If we are destined, then we will meet again."

After all, Su Yuan stood up and was about to turn around and leave.

Seeing Su Yuan like this, how can I not understand Su Yuan's meaning, and immediately said: "Fellow Daoist, please stay. I have a fellow Daoist who is destined to meet, and I want to give you some elixir."

After all, I took out a few elixir in my hands and put them in my hands.

As soon as the elixir appeared, it immediately exuded a faint fragrance. Just by smelling it, Su Yuan felt that his cultivation base had improved a little.

Lao Tzu is best at refining alchemy, so these elixirs are all magic elixirs that can enhance his cultivation, much stronger than what Yun Zhongzi gave him back then.

However, after taking a look at the elixir, Su Yuan shook his head.

Lao Tzu put away the elixir and said, "I have a map of the heaven and earth, a magic treasure, which can be enlightened by fellow Taoists for ten years."

It is a great honor for me to lend Su Yuan the Qiankun Map.

With the help of this Qiankun map, Su Yuan can break through the Sanxian very quickly and reach the Xuanxian after enlightenment.

However, Su Yuan still shook his head.

Lao Tzu said in embarrassment: "Then I don't know what is the request of Fellow Daoist? As long as I can do it, I will definitely agree."

It was precisely because of this that Su Yuan had hung his appetite for so long.

So upon hearing Lao Tzu's words, Su Yuan immediately said: "Okay, as long as fellow daoists don't prevent me from killing Ji Chang, I will discuss Daoism with fellow daoists for three days and three nights."
