Chapter 26 Isis’ embarrassment
In a temple built of giant trees and flowers.

Seth walked in quickly, but did not see Osiris or Isis.

"Where did you go?"

Muttering, Seth decided to wait.

While waiting, Seth took out a roasted whole wolf.

On his way here, he passed by an oasis and smelled the fragrance, so he bought it for a silver coin.

Taking down a roasted wolf leg, Seth ate it while waiting.

Not long after, Osiris and Isis walked in from outside the temple with a smile.

They saw Seth's servant who gave his true name, and knew that Seth had arrived.

After swallowing the last mouthful of wolf meat, Seth stood up and said, "Brother, sister, where have you been?"

Osiris smiled helplessly: "The matter of human sacrifice."

"Two tribes started fighting, vying for a blood sacrifice from me, hoping that I would destroy the other tribe."

"It took me some time to mediate the feud between them."

"It's too much trouble." Seth sounded like he was having a big headache.

If he was asked to handle this matter, he would definitely watch it with indifference.

War helps make his authority stronger.

"Humans are too aggressive," Isis said.

Osiris pulled Seth to sit down and said, "God Ra probably won't always let us protect humans."

"When the underworld needs enough undead, there will be no need to worry about them."

"Maybe." Seth didn't want to continue this topic and said, "Try the roasted wolf meat."

"Did humans make it?" Isis tore off a piece of leg meat and asked.

"Yeah." Seth nodded: "They are very good at using compound spices."

"Delicious!" Osiris commented after tasting it.

Set took out the clay pot containing moonshine wine and said with a smile: "Try the wine that Beth gave to me."

Saying this, Seth opened the mud seal on the clay pot.

The breath of cold moonlight floated out, and a silver moon appeared in front of Seth's eyes again.

After a while, Silver Moon disappeared.

Osiris asked curiously: "Brother, what kind of wine is this?"

"Moonlight wine is brewed by the Moon God." Seth explained.

"This is the first time I've heard of it. Get me a drink!" Isis said with a smile.

"No problem." Seth agreed readily and got a glass of silver moonshine wine for Isis.

Then came the chalice of Osiris, and finally Seth.

Afterwards, the three of them drank the moonshine wine together.

Seth felt a sharp liquid slide into his throat.

With the mellow aroma of wine and the taste of the moon.

Yes, the smell of the moon.

It's hard to describe, but after drinking it, your mind will automatically equate the taste with the moon.

Then there was a haze, and a soft and erratic feeling.

After a while, all feelings dissipated.

Seth's eyes lit up, he fell in love with this wine!

"Delicious!" Osiris shouted.

Isis' beautiful eyes were full of satisfaction: "It feels very different."

With that said, Isis tore off a piece of wolf meat and ate it.

The expression of satisfaction is even more obvious.

Seth also ate a piece of meat.

The barbecue smell of charcoal fire, mixed with strong spices, is opposite to the taste of moonshine wine, but it makes the meat more delicious.

After taking three glasses of wine again, Seth said while Osiris and Isis were not drinking.

"I'm here this time because I want to discuss something with you."

"What's the matter?" Isis put down the pottery cup and asked with concern.

Osiris swallowed what he wanted to say smoothly.

Not long ago he asked Thoth for some of the wine of the sun, but was naturally refused.

Without the wine of the sun, Osiris was embarrassed to say anything to Seth that would undermine his authority.

Who would have thought that Seth would come by himself and bring such delicious wine.

I thought the atmosphere would be just right, so I talked about it.

"It's about Nephthys." Seth said seriously: "Nephthys came to see me some time ago." "She brought a jar of wine and said she brewed it herself."

"Want me to taste the wine she brews."

"But, I sensed Apep's scent in the wine."

"But Nephthys' breath is fine."

"I suspect Nephthys may have Apep's blood, or scales."

"And are using them to do something bad."

Hide some irrelevant details.

For example, he deceived Nephthys into being seriously injured and introduced God to her, and Nephthys asked where Besit was, and later even cried and begged and other details.

Erase the details and it won't be embarrassing.

The foreshadowing of the wine is to prevent Osiris and Isis from asking detailed questions.

"Apepp?!" Osiris looked shocked: "This is no small matter, we must find Nephthys immediately!"

"If the situation is serious, take her back to Heliopolis City."

Isis had an awkward expression on her face, she coughed and said.

"Um, Seth, I know what happened to the wine you mentioned."

"?" Seth looked confused.

So is Osiris.

Seeing this, Isis was even more embarrassed, but she still explained.

"Apepp holds the power of chaos,"

"His scales are also stained with the aura of chaos."

"When a god eats his scales, he will fall into a brief state of confusion and excitement."

"I discovered it accidentally when I was studying magic."

"I accidentally made two jars of wine, one of which was given to Nephthys."

Seth understood when Isis specially emphasized the pronunciation of the word excitement.

Then I felt a chill on my back!
The scent of Apep in the wine was so secret that if he hadn't fused it with a drop of La's blood, he wouldn't have been able to detect it at all.

If he had been moved by Nephthys' tears and drank wine at that time...

Silence, Seth is afraid.

Isis blushed slightly, a little embarrassed.

Osiris thought of one night when his green skin suddenly turned red.

After a long time, Seth took a sip of the moonshine wine and said, "Sister, don't drink that kind of wine again, it's not safe."

"Yeah." Isis responded awkwardly.

Such an episode is really not suitable for continuing to drink.

Seth left half a pot of moonshine wine behind and left with three glasses of moonshine wine.

Before leaving, Seth said: "Sister, leave some for Nephthys to taste."

"Got it." Isis responded.

It was already dark when we left the temple of Osiris.

A crescent moon hung high in the sky, and the stars twinkled.

Seth blew the air and felt much less embarrassed.

There was nothing he could do about it, Nephthys' wine was beyond his expectation.

Seth took out the remaining moonshine wine and took a sip.

"Set."

Suddenly, Seth heard someone calling his name.

"Stop." Seth patted Ago.

The giant yellow sand bird hovers in mid-air.

Seth looked around, but there was no living thing.

The shouting just now did not appear again.

"Ago, did you hear someone calling me?" Seth asked his servant.

"Master, no." Ago shook his head.

Seth frowned, could it be haunted?

But he didn't see any undead.

Divine power spreads out, covering hundreds of miles around.

Nothing unusual.

"Go back to the temple." Seth said.
