Chapter 20 Creation Story
Integrating the power of faith will pollute your own authority.

It was impossible for Seth to do that, it was simply harming himself.

Although he is curious, he is not stupid.

After being rejected by Seth, the bright red power of faith fell on the statue.

Ra's golden feather also absorbed them.

Seth glanced at it and then focused on the undead in the temple.

After death, the soul leaves the body and becomes a spirit.

The dead souls go to the River Styx, and when they reach the underworld through the River Styx, they are the souls of the dead.

These undead souls stood there, kneeling on the ground fervently, shouting praises to the God of the Desert.

However, no power of faith was born.

Seth glanced at the blood-stained floor tiles of the temple and moved his fingers.

The golden water lilies on both sides of the temple absorb all the blood.

And wrap all the dead souls in the lotus.

They died as a blood sacrifice to Seth, who didn't mind sending them to the underworld after night fell.

It can be regarded as a kind of blessing after death. After all, not all dead souls can safely enter the underworld through the River Styx.

The young and strong men who had killed all the slaves saw the blood disappear instantly and just shouted praises to the desert god.

The leader of the old man spoke respectfully again: "Praise the God of the Desert."

"Lord God of the Desert, these are the six smartest children in the water grass oasis."

"I beg you to choose a child to be the servant of your oracle."

Seth looked at the old man in surprise.

Generally speaking, this servant who conveys the oracle is the priest of God.

With this title comes power, fame, and wealth.

The old man is in good health and can live for at least another thirty years.

He himself did not ask Seth to choose a priest, he could have become a priest himself.

Surprised, Seth looked at the six children carefully.

It was found that these six children had magical auras attached to them, and it seemed that they were all capable of magic.

Not all humans are magical.

Seth remembered Isis mentioning this, and it was one of the restrictions she imposed.

I wonder if Isis will lift this restriction in the future.

After his thoughts dispersed for a while, Seth said: "The boy with a scar on his forehead, I have chosen you."

The boy responded quickly and said respectfully: "Praise you, Lord God of the Desert."

"Your most loyal servant, Dameses, swears to the God of the Sun and will always be loyal to the God of the Desert."

"Yeah." Seth was satisfied with this reaction.

Seth then used his divine power to create a statue as tall as a human head and placed the statue in front of Damses.

Damses held the statue in his hands and praised it loudly.

Others also praised Seth.

Set isolated all divine power and wiped out all corpses.

The old man was very discerning and took Damssis and others away.

"I wonder what changes this little boy can bring to his oasis." Seth looked forward to it.

Among the six children, Damses had the strongest magic power and the most outstanding wisdom.

The title of priest of the Desert God will give him the right to decide the future of the oasis.

Naturally, Set would not interfere.

Having settled the matter, Seth stretched.

A piece of papyrus floated in from outside the temple, with Thoth's divine power attached to it.

It was Thoth's reply.

Seth touched the papyrus, and it instantly disintegrated into a series of sacred text.

At the same time, a folded papyrus fell into Seth's hand.

After reading it about once, Thoth said that things about Hathor were more complicated.

The details were recorded on paper for Seth to read by himself.

He also asked him to read it and remember to send the paper back.

Seth opened the folded papyrus. A long time ago, there was no concept of time, space, or world.

Even then, there was no God.

There is only chaos, and an endless flood filled with darkness, death, and chaos.

I don't know when, a sun rose in the midst of the flood.

The sun brings light and dispels some of the death and darkness.

I don’t know how long it took, but the sun transformed into a god.

Seeing this, Seth frowned. Is this a creation record?

This was included in his fused memory.

It was when the original Seth was imprisoned in the Sky Temple on the top of the mountain, Kebu and Nut talked about it in bits and pieces.

Why did Thoth show this to him?
Puzzled, Seth decided to continue watching.

Because judging from his fused memories, Keb and Nut did not tell the story of creation properly.

Just speaking in general terms.

After the original Seth became a god, he never understood it.

Thoth showed this to him, probably not out of boredom to tease him.

The god who embodied the sun was the sun god Ra.

After the birth of the god Ra, he looked at chaos and the great flood filled with darkness, death, and chaos.

Feeling very sad and lonely.

The next moment, Ra's breath transformed into two gods.

Shu, the god of order, and Tefnut, the god of disorder.

The god Ra was very happy to have two more children and believed that there must be other life in the flood.

He asked Shu and Tefnut to search for it, while Ra waited there.

A long time passed, but neither Shu nor Tefnut came back.

Ra was extremely worried and feared that something might happen to his two children, so he took off his left eye.

The left eye transformed into a goddess, Hathor, the god of love.

She was sent by Ra to find Shu and Tefnut.

Hathor left Ra to search for Shu and Tefnut, and eventually found them.

At this time, Shu and Tefnut had already entered into a marriage and gave birth to Kebu, the god of earth, and Nut, the god of sky.

With them Hathor returned to Ra.

The gods were overjoyed to be reunited with Ra.

Hathor alone was grieved because Ra's left eye had grown out and she could not return to Ra's eye socket.

Saddened to the extreme, Hathor shed tears.

The first human being was born from the tears of Hathor.

Seeing this, the god Ra created the world and awakened all things.

What followed was Apep, whom Seth was familiar with, leaping out of the flood.

Then Apep was killed by the god Ra, and a great flood fell to the earth and became the Nile.

That's all this papyrus records.

Set put down the papyrus and understood why Hathor said humans were her children.

It turns out that the first man was born from the tears of Hathor.

However, there must be other things happening.

What happened to the first person after that, was he a boy or a girl?
Hathor is so worried about humans, why doesn't he stay on the ground, but spends almost all the time in the city of Heliopolis?

And humans know that there is a god in the temple there, and the blank power generated by believing in the god is also because of Hathor?

One question was solved, and a series of questions followed.

Seth folded the papyrus, rewrote the letter, and asked Thoth his doubts.

The words of the holy book turned into birds on yellow sand, and Set put the folded papyrus into the bird's body.

Birds on the yellow sand flew out of the temple to find Thoth.

Seth began to look forward to Thoth's reply.

However, what I look forward to most is that God dares to change the desert landscape.

He had been thinking of killing the chicken to scare the monkeys, but no god came to touch his bad luck.
