Chapter 28 There is someone on the second floor!

After the door slowly opened, a scent of sandalwood rushed towards me.

The cow raised its feet to the sky and entered, and Kong Hui behind him followed suit, never leaving even half a step away.

Looking around, the layers of Tibetan scripture bookshelves are neatly arranged, and the surrounding atmosphere is extremely solemn.

After continuing to walk inside, a sacred breath penetrated layer by layer into the attic.

The incense smoke curled up in the building, filling the entire first-floor hall. In the deepest part, there was a Buddha statue, a majestic treasure elephant, standing on a lotus. At a glance, it gave people an otherworldly feeling.

Niu Dingtian took a step forward and slowly leaned towards the stairs. Before Kong Hui could stop him, he suddenly stopped.

wrong! Someone!
Immediately afterwards, his vigilance was raised to the extreme.

There is someone on the second floor! After pausing for a moment, he became even more certain.

"Cattle Donor!"

"It is strictly forbidden to enter the second floor of the Sutra Pavilion!"

Kong Hui saw Niu Dingtian standing still at the stairs and couldn't help but remind him.

When Niu Dingtian saw Kong Hui following him nervously, not leaving even an inch, he couldn't help but smile and said:
"Master Kong Hui, don't worry. Could you please Master Kong Hui to get some pens and ink? I'll look for some scriptures to copy on the first floor. I won't go to the second floor."

"Niu Donor, please wait!"

Kong Hui felt a little relieved after hearing the assurance, and a smile appeared on her honest face. After clasping her hands and giving a salute, she walked to the wooden cabinet by the wall.

After opening the drawer, he took out a dozen thick sandpapers, a pen, and an inkstone, and then poured a bowl of water into the large porcelain jar nearby.

Arriving at the table, Kong Hui quickly spread the paper on the table, ground it, then walked to Niu Dingtian's side, clasped her hands and said:

"Niu Donor, the pen and ink monk is ready and can start."

"Thank you, Master Konghui."

Niu Dingtian bowed his hands to Kong Hui and thanked him. Then he walked to the scripture collection shelf and picked up the scriptures casually.

"Vajra Prajnaparamita Sutra"

"Maha Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra"

"Maha Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra"

"Dafang Guangfo Huayan Sutra"

"The Lotus Sutra of Wonderful Dharma".
After scanning his eyes one by one, Niu Dingtian finally settled on the Surangama Sutra, the first chapter of the Surangama Sutra for cultivating the secret cause of Tathagata on the top of the Buddha's head and realizing the meaning of all Bodhisattvas' ten thousand actions. This sutra also contains the word "surang", which seems to be destined. After reaching out and taking it out, he walked to the desk and started copying quietly.

When he was about to copy half of the copy, Niu Dingtian seemed to have thought of something, stopped the pen in his hand, turned his head, looked at Kong Hui, who was staring closely beside him, and said with a smile:

"Master Kong Hui, don't be so nervous. If you are worried about me entering the second floor by mistake, why don't you wait at the stairs? Besides,"

"Besides, Master Kong Hui has been standing aside, which has somewhat affected my ability to concentrate on writing."

At the end, Niu Dingtian's gentle face also showed some apology.

After hearing this, Kong Hui's eyes flashed with joy, yes! Just guard the stairs! So he smiled naively, clasped his hands to Niu Dingtian and thanked:
"Thank you, Donor Niu, for reminding me. The young monk will go and stay there right now and will not disturb Donor Niu again. If Donor Niu needs anything else, just call the young monk directly."

After saying that, he bowed and retreated to the stairs.

Seeing Kong Hui leaving, Niu Dingtian's smiling face became even brighter. He put away his thoughts and continued to copy the remaining "The Secret Cause of the Buddha's Ding Tathagata, Practice and Realize the Righteousness of All Bodhisattvas, the First Surangama Sutra".

This sutra is abbreviated as "Surangama Sutra", also known as "First Surangama Sutra", "Great Buddha's Head Sutra", "Great Buddha's Head First Surangama Sutra", "Central India Nalanda Avenue Sutra", it is also one of the most important works in Buddhism. An important classic.

It is said in the Sutra on the End of Dharma: In the age of Dharma Ending, the Shurangama Sutra will be destroyed first. The Surangama Sutra includes: Preface, Three Breakthroughs, Ten Revealed Views, Dissecting Illusions and Revealing the Truth, Comprehensively Understanding the Four Subjects, Perfecting the Seven Elements, Examining and Eliminating Minor Confusions, Resolving Knots from the Root, Twenty-Five Holy Comprehensive Chapters, Four Kinds of pure teachings, Shurangama Divine Mantra, Twelve Categories of Life, Successive Realizations, Seven Interests, and Fifty Yin Demons. Although Niu Dingtian has never studied Buddhist classics and has no interest in it, when he copied this scripture, his mood seemed to calm down more and more, and he felt a little gain.

Therefore, even though he had an ulterior motive, he did not take the matter of copying the scriptures carelessly. It didn't take long before the copy of the scripture in his hand was completed.

Then, I went to the bookshelf again, searched, selected, copied, and searched again, vowing to find that book!
It was getting late outside, and at this time, he had copied four scriptures on his desk.

He was not in a hurry, just slowly looking for the next bookshelf and copying the next book.

After he closed the "Buddha Speaks of Amitabha Sutra" in his hand, he came to the bookshelf again, looking for it slowly, thinking about it in his heart.

He was not only interested in the "Nine Yang Manual" on this floor, he was also interested in the seventy-two stunts upstairs.

Now he possesses the "Arhat's Demon Subduing Technique". The magic technique that Brother Dog has practiced is no worse than the "Nine Yang Manual", and may even be better. It is not impossible to lack the "Nine Yang Manual".

But he has been coveting the seventy-two Shaolin stunts upstairs for a long time. He has long wanted to pick a few and give them to his subordinates to practice. Most of these stunts are horizontal exercises, and the threshold is not high. If you practice to a deep level, your skill will be quite good, which is extremely important for the development of the next plan.

Therefore, you must enter the second floor of the Sutra Pavilion! But how to get in? Just break in? Or plan slowly? After all, breaking into the door is inevitable when we go back. Then won't we have to get a few old monks together?

hiss~
Niu Dingtian was extremely confused.

As he was thinking about it, he suddenly touched a book of scriptures with his right hand. He raised his eyes to read the title of the book, and his eyes suddenly lit up. He quickly suppressed the excitement in his heart and slowly pulled out the book of scriptures.

After opening it, the Lankavatara Sutra is entirely in Sanskrit. Niu Dingtian searched for the cracks in the scriptures page by page. When he was halfway through the search, he found a thick bulge.

In the original world, there were many opinions about this "Nine Yang Manual".

One is that the Nine Suns Sutra is said to have been written by Patriarch Bodhidharma.

But later Zhang Junbao realized that Patriarch Bodhidharma was from Tianzhu. Even if he could write Chinese characters, he would still be crude in literature and science.

As for the wonderful writing in the "Nine Yang Manual", it is impossible for foreigners to write it. It must have been written by Chinese people in later generations.

It was probably the monks in the Shaolin Temple who, under the guise of Patriarch Bodhidharma, wrote it in the gaps between the Lankavatara Sutra and the Indian script.

Another theory is that an unknown stranger in Songshan Mountain defeated Wang Chongyang in a wine fight and was able to read the Nine Yin Manual. This person was the wine-fighting monk.

One day, he defeated Wang Chongyang in a drinking contest, so Wang Chongyang lent the Jiuyin Manual to the wine-fighting monk.

The Doujiu God Monk believes that the "Nine Yin Manual" is too heavy on yin, and blindly admires the Taoist teachings of Huang and Lao, which only emphasizes the use of softness to overcome hardness, and the use of yin to overcome yang, which is not as good as the mutual support of yin and yang.

So he joined Shaolin, and in the gaps between the four volumes of the "Lengfang Sutra", he wrote the "Nine Yang True Sutra" in Chinese, which he combined with his experience in martial arts and Zen Buddhism.

The Doujiu Monk realizes that it has a more harmonious way of harmonizing yin and yang and complementing hardness and softness than the "Nine Yin Manual".

The Dou Jiu Shen Monk who wrote the "Nine Yang True Sutra" was a Taoist priest before converting to Buddhism and was proficient in Tao Zang. The martial arts scriptures he wrote emphasized both hardness and softness. Yin and Yang complemented each other and were used randomly and preemptively. This is quite different from the emphasis on masculinity in the traditional martial arts of the Shaolin School. , which is also different from the pure Taoist Jiuyin Sutra which emphasizes yin and softness.

So it was natural for him to appear in the Sutra Pavilion of Shaolin Temple.

In any case, this volume of scripture has been obtained at this time, but there is no time to copy the "Nine Yang Manual" that is hidden in the gap.

If the Shaolin Temple hadn't changed its mind temporarily and played a trick on him, he wouldn't have minded trying to get it slowly tomorrow, which was his original plan.

How to get into the Sutra Pavilion which is locked every day? Steal the keys? Pooh! Na Jie Zhen probably just puts the key in his pants pocket on weekdays! Tomorrow will inevitably break doors and windows, but it is inevitable that someone will find out.

Han Xiaoying's palm poison has been detoxified, and now she comes in openly. Let's capture one first! Looking back, I realized that the two of them were not easy to control!

No more waiting!
So he put away the scriptures, used his pace, and rushed up to the second floor with all his strength.
