At the beginning of Niujia Village, my sister-in-law and I depended on each other.

Chapter 25 My wife believes in Buddhism and loves Buddhist classics
Stepping into the temple, a vigorous and simple atmosphere rushes towards you. Walking a little further, you can faintly hear bursts of Sanskrit sounds coming from the depths of the temple, quiet and long.

Niu Dingtian hugged Han Xiaoying and followed Juezhen step by step, but his eyes were observing the place he passed without leaving a trace, as if he was looking for something.

Walking along the green brick road, when he passed a courtyard gate, he glanced over. When he saw the three words on the plaque of the attic inside, Niu Dingtian's eyes flashed, and then quickly disappeared. This did not stop at all.

After walking for a while, they came to a Zen room and stopped. Juezhen opened the door with his own hands. His kind-hearted face looked a little ashamed, and he said to Niu Dingtian beside him:

"The conditions of our temple are simple. Please forgive me, Donor Niu. The two of you will take a short rest here. After you have finished your fast, Junior Brother Juexing will come back to diagnose and treat the venerable lady."

"Donor Niu has something to do with the disciples outside the courtyard, so I will leave first."

After that, he saluted Niu Dingtian with his palms together, and turned around and left in a hurry before Niu Dingtian could thank him.

Entering the Zen room, I saw that there was only a bed, a table, a wardrobe, and two chairs in the room, which was less than two feet wide.

"Miss Han, let's settle here for now."

After entering the room and seeing the furnishings inside, Niu Dingtian lowered his head and apologized softly to Han Xiaoying in his arms.

No wonder the old monk had a look of shame on his face just now. After deducting the consultation fee from his two thousand taels of gold, he really contributed all of it to the Buddha.

However, regardless of whether Han Xiaoying's palm poison could be eliminated at once, Niu Dingtian decided to stay here tonight, and maybe for two more days.

"It doesn't matter, Mr. Niu. You'd better put me on the bed first. I just didn't expect this trip to be so expensive for Mr. Niu."

When Han Xiaoying saw Niu Dingtianyou hugging her, she blushed and reminded him softly. When she thought about today's expense, she felt apologetic and felt indebted.

"It doesn't matter. Money is only an external possession. Miss Han's health is important, so it doesn't matter if she spends more."

After hearing this, Niu Dingtian looked unconcerned.

"Two donors, it's time for a fast meal."

At this moment, the young monk's voice sounded outside the house, and the fast food was delivered.

"Thank you, little master."

Niu Dingtian came to the door, smiled and thanked the visitor solemnly, and then took the dinner plate, one portion of cabbage, one portion of tofu, and two portions of rice.

"Donor Niu does not need to be polite. Monk Kong Hui. If Donor Niu has anything to do, he can come to see Monk outside the courtyard. I will say goodbye first."

Kong Hui was dressed in apricot yellow monk robes. She was about fifteen or sixteen years old, with a naive look on her face. She was not at all like a precocious-looking person like Niu Dingtian.

Seeing that Niu Dingtian was so kind and thanked him so solemnly, Kong Hui waved his hand in a flattered manner, and then left after carefully giving instructions. This was the distinguished guest in front of him who the abbot had specially asked, and he did not dare to neglect him.

"Master Kong Hui, stay!"

Niu Dingtian had been staring at Kong Hui's leaving figure. When he was about to leave the courtyard, he was about to turn around and enter the house. He seemed to suddenly remember something, paused in his steps, and then hurriedly turned around and faced shouted Kong Hui not far away.

Kong Hui stopped when she heard the voice. She turned around and saw that it was Niu Dingtian calling her. She quickly ran over to Niu Dingtian and saluted with her hands together: "Donor Niu, what else do you want to tell the young monk?"

Niu Dingtian smiled at Kong Hui and then said:
"Master Kong Hui, please forgive me. I have one more thing I want to ask Master Kong Hui."

"Donor Niu, please tell me. If the young monk can do it, he will definitely not refuse." Kong Hui said quickly after hearing this.

Niu Dingtian held the dinner plate, took two steps closer to Kong Hui, and said to her:

"Master Kong Hui is like this. My wife believes in Buddhism and usually likes some Buddhist classics. When I came to your temple for medical treatment this time, I specifically asked me to copy some scriptures from your temple and take them back to read. I wonder if your temple has them?" Where the scriptures are stored, could you help my wife copy some scriptures and take them back?"

After saying that, Niu Dingtian looked at Kong Hui with a smile, paying careful attention to the expression on his face.

"To be honest, Donor Niu, our temple does have a place to store scriptures. If we just copy some ordinary scriptures, there should be no problem. In the past, some distinguished guests came to seek scriptures, but this must be approved by the abbot."

"If the Niu Donor has this intention, then the poor monk will help the Niu Donor to spread the word?" After hearing this, Kong Hui smiled naively, said apologetically to the Niu with his head in the sky, and finally tried to use his own modesty. Power.

"Thank you so much, Master Kong Hui."

After hearing this, Niu Dingtian nodded slightly, smiled and thanked Kong Hui.

"Donor Niu is very polite. The poor monk takes his leave."

Seeing Kong Hui leaving, Niu Dingtian stood there and thought for a moment, then turned around and entered the house with the dinner plate in hand.

"Miss Han is wondering why I just said that to that little monk?"

After putting the vegetarian meal on the table and moving the table next to the bed, Niu Dingtian put some vegetables into the rice bowl and asked Han Xiaoying on the bed.

"Young Master Niu certainly has his own plans, so you don't need to make it clear to me. I just hope that I can help Mr. Niu."

Although Han Xiaoying was also a little curious, she was more happy at this time.

I just felt that after such a long time, I could finally help Niu Dingtian with something. Thinking of this, I couldn't hide the happiness on my face, so I couldn't help but smile and replied.

At first, when she heard Niu Dingtian outside the door calling her "wife" one after another, she was just as shy as when she heard the abbot calling her "ma'am" one after another. But then she thought that Niu Dingtian couldn't be just for no reason. There must be some purpose for telling this to a young monk. No matter what it is, I can finally help him.

"Miss Han, let's eat some vegetarian food first. It's my first time to try this Buddhist food. Let's see if it suits your taste."

Niu Dingtian was very happy to see Han Xiaoying being so considerate, and stopped answering. He smiled at her, carefully fed her a mouthful of tofu, and said warmly.

"kindness"

Han Xiaoying opened her mouth obediently.

"Kong Hui, please step back."

"Yes, Abbot."

"Junior Brother Juexing, what do you think?"

In a Zen room, after listening to the report of the young monk Kong Hui, and after he exited the room, Juezhen, who was sitting on the futon in the middle and meditating, asked his junior disciple beside him.

He was the first Zen Master of Awakening in Bodhidharma Hall.

Juexing heard his senior brother ask himself, opened his eyes slightly, thought for a moment with a majestic face, then clasped his hands and replied:
"Brother Abbot, I saw that the injured female benefactor had some martial arts skills. As for the scholar-looking benefactor,"

Having said this, Suexing thought deeply for a moment, then shook his head and said, "It should be that he is not proficient in martial arts."

"Amitabha, please respond to this cow donor."

"I hope it will be a blessing rather than a curse for Shaolin Temple."

After saying that, Juezhen closed his Buddha eyes again, and the beads in his hand turned a little rapidly.

He was not surprised by what his junior brother said. Even if his own skill was slightly better than the other's, he could not see the depth of Niu Dingtian for a while.

When you ask this question, you may be asking for some inner comfort, but you still have to ask.

Say something that goes against the Buddha's heart. If disaster really happens in this matter,
Then
It is always the decision of my fellow Buddhist disciples.

Amitabha
