Chapter 4 I'm with you

Lu Yao walked over and sat down. Whether she forgot or deliberately didn't call her, the others knew clearly.

She had never been a generous person, but she was too lazy to argue with them over such a trivial matter.

The meals provided by the inn are simple, and Lu Yao is not picky about food. What hardships have you not experienced when you were first drawn into the game? She won't refuse anything that can be put into her mouth.

Liu Cheng arrived earlier, and they ate quietly, exchanging words in low voices.

Lu Yao raised his eyes and scanned the other side, finding that there was obviously one less person on Liu Cheng's side.

Thinking of the strange figure he saw when he came over, Lu Yao couldn't help but slow down his eating movements.

She remembered that the man seemed to have been following the female shop owner mysteriously. Could it be that he had found some clue?

As he was thinking, a figure suddenly walked in from outside the restaurant.

"Sorry, I'm late." The thin man smiled and walked over. As he spoke, he quickly walked to Liu Cheng's table and sat down.

"Old Wu, why are you so slow?" Chi Rui raised his head and glanced at Wu Ren, then handed him the bowl and chopsticks.

Wu Ren took it with a smile and suddenly lowered his voice and said something.

Liu Cheng and others looked at each other after hearing this, and then speeded up their eating.

"Tell me, what did that person say just now? I see that the people over there are eating faster." Wu Hao bit his chopsticks and asked in a low voice.

"Who knows, I feel like they are hiding something from us." Ji Ran frowned. The food in the inn looked average and tasted even worse. She couldn't eat it.

Huo Yilin raised his head when he heard the sound, "They have already helped us a lot. There is no reason for them to tell us everything they want to do."

"But what if it's a matter of life and death? Do they already have a way to leave the dungeon?" Xu Yi pulled Ji Ran next to her. Why should she, a good young lady, have to suffer this!

"Xu Yi, we will leave safely." Ji Ran patted Xu Yi's shoulder to comfort him.

Xu Yi sniffed and leaned on Ji Ran's shoulder.

"I'm just too scared."

Lu Yao did not participate in the whole process, but just paid attention to Liu Cheng's movements from time to time.

She had a premonition that something was going to happen.

"boom--"

Suddenly, a muffled sound came from the side. Lu Yao turned around and saw that Wu Ren, who was sitting next to Liu Cheng, had fallen to the ground. He put his hands on his face and was scratching and tearing his face.

Soon, the skin on Wu Ren's face was covered with interlaced blood marks, and finally became a bloody mess.

Wu Ren rolled on the ground, but his throat seemed to be blocked by something and he couldn't make a sound.

Upon seeing this, Liu Cheng immediately called people forward to try to hold Wu Ren down, but with the combined efforts of several people, they were unable to hold down the thin Wu Ren.

Wu Ren suddenly jumped up from the ground, rushed through the crowd and rushed towards the door.

"Follow me!" Liu Cheng shouted and immediately chased him with his men.

Seeing this, Lu Yao put down his chopsticks and stood up, about to follow.

Huo Yilin on the side also stood up and said, "I'll join you."

He could see that Lu Yao was planning to follow him to see what was going on, and he happened to have the same intention.

"You two are going, then I'm going too." Wu Hao thought about Wu Ren's face and almost vomited out all the dinner he had just eaten, so he hesitated before standing up.

Xu Yi couldn't help but tremble while sitting on the chair. She was a little scared instinctively, and she didn't want to go.

Seeing Ji Ran standing aside, she subconsciously pulled Ji Ran.

"Ji Ran, are you going too?"

Seeing this, Ji Ran hesitated and said, "I'll just stay here with you."...

It was gloomy outside, with only a few lights on.

When Lu Yao chased him out, Wu Ren was standing blankly in the rain. The rain fell from his head and washed away the blood on his body.

Just as Liu Cheng was about to lead someone forward, he saw Wu Ren remove his hands from his face and move them down to his neck and shoulders...and finally towards his heart.

Looking at the dark red ball held in Wu Ren's hand, Liu Cheng subconsciously stopped.

"Brother Liu, Wu Ren..." Chi Rui gritted his teeth and wanted to step forward but was stopped by his companions.

"Don't be impulsive." The people around Chi Rui held him back. Now was obviously not the time to step forward rashly.

Lu Yao looked at the situation in front of him and knew that the matter was not over yet.

A few seconds later, Wu Ren, standing in the rain, suddenly let out a roar, and then he started tearing at himself.

Soon, a complete Ren Bei was torn off by Wu Ren himself. He slowly turned his head and stared at them closely with his eyeballs wrapped in blood vessels and muscles.

The people present met Wu Ren's gaze and couldn't help but tremble.

It was a feeling of being watched, as if silently saying that it would be your turn next.

"Holy shit, shit, that guy..." Wu Hao's face turned pale, and he took a few steps back, holding on to the wall and retching.

He regretted it, he shouldn't have followed curiously.

Huo Yilin looked away, obviously not wanting to look anymore.

Only Lu Yao stared at the figure in the rain, as if he wanted to see something from him.

Why did Wu Ren suddenly go crazy? Are there any specific triggering taboos for rain here?
Lu Yao held up his arms and was thinking about whether to observe further, but he saw Wu Ren shaking violently in the rain, and then suddenly disappeared into the rain.

"Brother Liu, Wu Ren is missing!" Seeing this, the people on Liu Cheng's side finally came to their senses.

Liu Cheng had a stern face. If something happened to someone in the team, he, as the captain, would of course be responsible for stabilizing the situation.

"Wu Ren can't be saved anymore, the rest of us should go back to the restaurant with me first!"

The group returned to the restaurant. Liu Cheng and others gathered together to discuss something, but Lu Yao and the others were excluded again.

Lu Yao walked back to the dining table and sat down, and saw Ji Ran suddenly raised his head and asked, "What happened?"

Several people looked ugly, but it was Huo Yilin who told Ji Ran and Xu Yi what had just happened.

"Stop talking, stop talking, it's so scary!" Xu Yi suddenly shouted.

Lu Yao sat there and raised his head when he noticed Huo Yilin's gaze.

"Is something wrong?"

Huo Yilin nodded, "I don't think this matter is that simple. Lu Yao, did you find anything special?"

Lu Yao shook his head, "I've been with you all the time and haven't found anything."

Before Huo Yilin could say anything else, the voice of the hostess of the inn sounded again, "Dinner time has passed. Please leave the restaurant. In addition, the curfew in Linyu Town is seven o'clock at night. Please do not leave the room and move around after seven o'clock."

Everyone still didn't know why the man suddenly had an accident, and the uneasiness on Ting Yan's face became more and more obvious.

In the end, Liu Cheng spoke and motioned for everyone to go back to their rooms first, "Okay, let's go back to our rooms first. Remember the rules here and don't run around at night."

Lu Yao looked at the female shopkeeper who had turned around and left. She was still holding the umbrella in her hand. She didn't know if it was her imagination, but the moment she turned around, she seemed to see the umbrella suddenly move.

There seems to be a drop of dark red liquid dripping from the umbrella...
