Hogwarts starts with stealing power

Chapter 60: Poisoning the Giant Monster

Chapter 60: Poisoning the Giant Monster

The wall was closed, and Lin Xia fell into darkness.

"Lightsing!" A bright light glowed from the tip of her wand.

Because she wanted to save magic power, Lin Xia did not illuminate a large area, only one meter in front of her.

She followed the scene she saw in "Dreaming" and followed the route Quirrell took, which lasted about twenty minutes.

A gray-brown wall appeared in front of him. The wall was very solid, as if it was a dead end.

However, Lin Xia lowered her head and stepped on a certain floor tile three times!

The floor suddenly expanded outwards, revealing spacious underground stairs.

Lin Xia continued going down, and the surroundings fell into darkness again. She was keenly aware that the darkness here was deeper than the path she had just taken.

She had to increase the brightness of the "lumos" and raise her wand high in front of her.

As Lin Xia walked, she counted the time in her heart.

Darkness can swallow up all human senses, making it impossible to feel the passage of time.

After walking for three minutes, Lin Xia encountered a wall again. This time she just stretched out her hand, put it on the edge of the wall, and said softly:
"Blood washes away glory."

This sentence seemed to be a command, the wall opened automatically, and a bright light penetrated through the gap, making her subconsciously close her eyes.

After all the walls were opened, Lin Xia opened her eyes again and had adapted to the brightness outside.

Stepping out, she came to a secret passage on the fifth floor of Hogwarts. There was a mirror not far away.

Lin Xia was determined, it was done!

She's back at Hogwarts again!

In the dream, the secret passage that Quirrell mastered was the secret passage from Hogsmeade Village to the fifth floor of Hogwarts.

Relying on the invisibility spell given to her by her father, she did not take the movable stairs. Instead, she stood directly on the stairs, first cast a "Yingadim Leviosa" on herself, and then jumped!
Lin Xia was floating in the air, and the usually annoying movable stairs turned into a cute background. She even picked up the wand with great interest and poked Peeves who happened to be floating by her!
Peeves' eyes widened, he quickly covered his arm, and then turned around fiercely.

"The naughty little wizard must have thrown something at me. I want to make him look good!" The high-pitched voice was full of anger.

"Da." Lin Xia landed gracefully and quickly headed to the basement.

Three minutes later, she successfully arrived at the basement, stood there and recalled for a while, and chose the middle aisle.

Suddenly a voice came from not far away, and Lin Xia immediately stopped, leaning against the wall and slowing down his breathing.

"Professor Snape, I always hear strange noises in the basement. I suspect there is a snake in the basement! I heard that the snake raised by Professor Quirrell has disappeared. The snake must be hiding in the empty room in the basement!"

Mikel said excitedly to Professor Snape that no other Gryffindor student was like a mouse seeing a cat when they saw Snape.

Snape said slowly in his characteristic arrogant tone: "If there were a snake in the basement, it would definitely become a specimen in the Potions classroom."

Mikel argued with reason: "But Professor, when I came to class last week, I really heard the hissing and crawling sounds of snakes. Not only me, but Ron also heard it."

Snape suddenly stopped and looked at Mikel condescendingly: "Since both of you heard it, why are you the only one here?"

Mikel choked on his words and whispered: "Professor, Ron is a little afraid of you."

Snape looked at him coldly: "But Mr. Mikel, I don't think you are afraid of me at all. Just like the active lady, you have been trying to get my attention in class."

"Mikel, I am a professor. As a student, do you want to show some respect to the professor? At least that expressive lady will not be so rude in front of me." Snape interrupted Mick What you were about to say.

"Also, next time you hear a strange sound, remember to say it on the spot and remember which classroom it came from. The basement is so big, do I have to accompany you to find it from room to room?"

Snape turned around and walked quickly out of the aisle, criticizing mercilessly as he walked:

"While I was talking nonsense to you, I might have failed to configure a few bottles of precious potions. My time is far more valuable than your child's time playing house. In the future, it's not a sure thing. Don’t come to me!”

Mikel left the corridor with an ugly expression.

It really didn't work to ask Snape to check the empty rooms in the basement and find out where the trolls were hiding.

After they all left, Lin Xia took a long, deep breath.

I almost couldn't hold it in anymore.

She stepped out of the shadows and thought about what Mikel said. If she remembered correctly, Mikel always came to the classroom with Hermione, Ron and Harry.

Ron couldn't keep things to himself, and so did Hermione.

If she did hear the snake whisper, both of them would tell her and remind her to be careful.

Lin Xia's eyes flashed slightly, and she suddenly turned to look at the oil painting hanging at the end of the corridor. There were eight eyes dancing randomly in the painting.

If the real purpose is to find trolls, then it all makes sense.

She walked to the oil painting and stared quietly for a while. The melodious bell came from above. This was the bell at half past nine in the evening.

Students are reminded not to walk around outside and travel at night.

Lin Xia held the corner of the painting and turned it clockwise to reveal the bricks behind it.

She stretched out her wand, struck a specific brick, and recited a spell: "Blood washes away glory."

The wall opened back automatically, just like what I saw in the dream. The secret door was surprisingly large.

Lin Xia was about to push it open, but suddenly she was startled. There was a big lock on the door!
The last time Quirrell came here, there was no such lock.

Lin Xia raised her eyebrows, stretched out her wand and pointed it at the lock: "Open the Alaho hole."

With a "clang" sound, the lock opened automatically, and Lin Xia pushed the door open and walked in.

The space in this secret door is very spacious, and the troll is locked in the center and bound with iron anklets.

It has long arms, long ears, an ugly nose, and a somewhat thin face.

It sat languidly, probably because it was not hungry enough, and it was far not as weak as it had been seen in the dream.

The giant monster smelled some strange smell in the air, slowly raised its head, and looked at Lin Xia.

Lin Xia saw a gleam of light, the light of excitement when seeing prey!
The troll slowly stood up, and when he straightened up, he was twelve feet tall, and walked towards her awkwardly, "Ta, ta, ta..."

With a "clang" sound, the anklet restricted it, and it could only walk six meters away from Lin Xia.

The troll was unwilling to do so, roared low, and stretched out its long arms.

Its arms are very thick. Even if they are a little thin due to hunger, you can still see the veins that beat slightly with the movement and the muscles covered by the veins.

However, the arms finally stopped two meters away from Lin Xia.

The troll seemed more anxious, roared louder, and tried to stretch its knuckles. It wanted to catch Lin Xia!

But it’s all in vain!

Even if it tried to stretch its fingers, it couldn't reach Lin Xia.

The troll kicked the anklet irritably. It was a little irritable since it was not controlled by the medicine, but it was not as confused as before.

Its not-so-smart mind finally thought that it could first tear away the things that bound it!

At this time, Lin Xia also thought of a way to solve it.

Although she really wanted to fight the giant monster and see how effective her modified technique was.

But the troll was not as weak as she imagined, and it was also too huge, so Lin Xia reached into her small leather bag and dug around, and took out a ring.

The inner space of the ring was expanded by the traceless stretching spell. Lin Xia took out a bottle of potion from it. To be precise, it was a bottle of poison.

She took the antidote beforehand, then opened the potion and threw it next to the troll.

"Ding——" The giant monster heard the sound, looked down, and wanted to bend down to pick it up.

Within a few seconds, the troll fell limply to the ground, foaming at the mouth, and the corners of its mouth twitching unconsciously.

After another minute, the troll stopped moving and closed its eyes peacefully.

Lin Xia did not approach, but summoned the Scale of Destiny!
