White tea legend

Chapter 39 Sun Tzu’s Letter

"I feel like my tongue is not here," Cockatoo said to Bai Cha and Lu Yu, "Although my tongue was pulled out in the Tongue Pulling Hell, my tongue doesn't seem to be here."

After the cockatoo said this, his eyes were very dry, so he went to the side and closed his eyes to rest.

Lu Yu and Bai Cha wondered together where the cockatoo's tongue might be.

The Tongue Pulling Hell is one of the eighteen levels of hell. Since the cockatiel's tongue is not in the Tongue Pulling Hell, is it hidden in other levels of hell?

The eighteen levels of hell are regarded as places of punishment in the underworld, used to punish souls who have committed serious crimes during their lifetimes in order to eliminate their karma and allow them to be reborn. Each level of hell has its own specific punishments and pains. According to the different crimes of sinners, they are sent to the corresponding level of hell to be punished. These punishments include extreme painful experiences such as burning, freezing, pulling out tongues, sawing the body, grinding, etc., and are designed to reflect the retribution deserved by different crimes.

The first to fifth levels mainly punish sins of lust. For example, the first level is the Hell of Knife Mountain, where sinners will be thrown onto hills covered with sharp knives and suffer the pain of being cut. The second level is the Sword Tree Hell, where sinners are forced to climb trees with swords hanging on them and experience the pain of being pierced by the sword's blade. Penalties in the third to fifth tiers are more brutal, reflecting the harsher punishment for sexual crimes.

The sixth to ninth levels deal with crimes of killing and harming life. In these levels, sinners would be tortured by being bitten by wild beasts and poured with boiling molten iron. The tenth to thirteenth floors are dedicated to theft and fraud, and the sinners will be punished by having their bodies sawed open and crushed.

The fourteenth to eighteenth levels are the most severe hells, usually used to punish souls who have committed extremely serious sins, such as murdering parents, bleeding the Buddha's body (harming the Buddha) and other serious crimes. In these levels, sinners endure not only extreme physical pain but also prolonged mental torture.

Although Lu Yu has never seen the real scene of the eighteen levels of hell, he has seen paintings depicting the eighteen levels of hell in heaven:

The horrific scenes are used to warn people to do good deeds and avoid evil deeds, aiming to convey the concepts of moral education and karma.

Lu Yu said to the ghost chariot accompanying him: "Can I go to other levels of hell to look for it?"

The ghost was so frightened that he waved his hands repeatedly and said: "Empress Houtu only told me to lead the miracle doctor to visit the Tongue Pulling Hell and look for what he was looking for. She didn't ask the kid to accompany the miracle doctor to other levels of hell. The kid didn't dare to transgress."

Lu Yu thought that this ghost was also sticking to his duty, so he gave up.

So, he said to Xuanfeng Parrot: "Is it possible that your tongue is not in the eighteenth level of hell, but somewhere else."

Blackbird parrot glanced at Bai Cha.

Bai Cha then said to Lu Yu: "The parrot asked the miracle doctor where his tongue might be?"

"Could it be in an unexpected place?" Lu Yu judged.

One fairy, one tea, and one bird will start to ponder.

Where might a cockatoo's tongue be?

If it's not underground, is it possible that it's in heaven?

This involves why the Cockatoo, a virtuous divine bird, was punished to have its tongue pulled out in the tongue pulling hell.

"Who did you offend? Why were you punished like this?" Lu Yu and Bai Cha both looked at the Black Wind Parrot.

Recalling the circumstances and consequences of his tongue being pulled out, the cockatiel was inevitably aggrieved.

But how would he tell Lu Yu and Bai Cha?

He said that he was demoted to the tongue-pulling hell by Prince Danzhu because he violated the rule of "watching chess without speaking"?

If the miracle doctor and Bai Cha knew the truth, would they still be willing to help him find and connect his tongue?

"I'm your pet, right?" The cockatoo looked at Bai Cha with a sincere look he had never seen before.

Bai Cha nodded.

As his master, she has to be responsible for him.

"Then no matter who my rival is or who I offend, you will stand up for me and take responsibility for me, right?"

The cockatoo stared at the white tea with burning eyes, almost crying. Bai Cha nodded: "Of course."

"What if my enemy is Prince Danzhu?"

The prince of heaven, the son of the emperor of heaven, the lord of the six realms, aren't you afraid of this tea tree?

Unexpectedly, Cha Shuer burst out laughing.

"What a coincidence, isn't it? Our Divine Doctor Lu Yu is a good friend of His Highness Chonghua. His Highness Chonghua is the mortal enemy of Prince Danzhu. His mortal enemy is our mortal enemy. This mortal enemy is also the mortal enemy of your blackbird, so, What’s the contradiction? Our enemies are all the same person!”

After hearing Bai Cha's words, the cockatoo breathed a deep sigh of relief.

That's really great.

Bai Cha was still worried that Miracle Doctor Lu Yu was worried, but he didn't expect that he had no worries at all. He just said to Xuanfeng: "Now it seems that your tongue is not in tongue pulling hell, so you can only go to Empress Houtu for help."

Gui Chai accompanied Lu Yu, the miracle doctor, and his entourage. They were really tired, and happened to hear that the three of them no longer wanted to find tongues. If they heard about the amnesty, they quickly led them back to Queen Houtu.

Empress Houtu was so wise, she had already figured out the origin of Xuanfeng in this short time.

"I cannot hand over this cockatiel's tongue."

Queen Houtu said.

"Why?" Lu Yu was much calmer than the cockatoo.

"Xuanfeng Parrot was sent to the Tongue Pulling Hell by Prince Danzhu to be tortured. If I return his tongue, wouldn't it be against Prince Danzhu's wishes, or would he be trapped in Youdu and become the enemy of Prince Danzhu? As the Lord of Youdu, you must never do something that disregards the overall situation."

Empress Houtu had spoken her mind, how could Lu Yu embarrass her?

As a last resort, Xuanfeng Parrot had no choice but to take out Kuafu's letter of recommendation.

“I had a grandmother who was a very amiable old man and a lot of interesting things happened between us.

One day, I was playing at home and suddenly found a bird's nest. I ran to tell my grandma excitedly. Grandma, I found a bird's nest with several little birds in it!

Grandma smiled and replied: "Really? Then you have to take good care of them."

So I would visit the birds every day, feed them, and talk to them. Grandma was very pleased to see that I was so caring.

One day, I found that the birds had grown up and could fly. I ran to tell my grandma: "Grandma, the birds have grown up and they can fly!" Grandma smiled and said, "That's great, you raised them so well."

However, I was a little reluctant to let the birds leave. I asked my grandma worriedly: "Grandma, will the birds fly away and never come back?"

Grandma touched my head and said: "Kuafu, when the birds grow up, they need to find their own sky. You have to believe that they will remember your kindness and maybe come back to visit you one day." "

I listened to my grandma's words. Although I was still a little reluctant, I decided to let the birds fly freely. Sure enough, not long after, those little birds returned to my home and spent happy days with me one after another. "

Kuafu didn't say anything else in the letter. He just told Empress Houtu such an ordinary story, but she was deeply moved by it.

I don’t know how many years have passed since she last saw her, but Kuafu is still her kind and loving little grandson.
