Chapter 31 A Group of Ducks
"Okay, then Wang Min will stay." Yang Qing nodded, took out a long gun for her to use to save her life, and then warned, "After we leave, immediately bolt the door and padlock it, and don't let anyone in."

"No matter who calls the door or asks for help, don't open the door. Just say you don't know anything, and don't be afraid. You have a gun in your hand and they won't dare to break in."

Wang Min nodded.

Yang Qing taught her how to shoot again. Even if she couldn't shoot accurately, she could still scare people.

"By the way, bring Archie and Xiaoxue with you." Leng Yi suddenly said, "They have a keen sense of smell, which may come in handy."

Archie jumped up happily when he heard that he could go out. Xiaoxue looked arrogant, but it could be seen from his frequently wagging tail that he was also very happy.

"Okay!" Yang Qing nodded, "Is Xiaoxue okay?"

"Well, the injuries are healed, no problem." Leng Yi nodded.

Six people and two dogs, two assault boats set out in a mighty manner.

It took nearly half an hour to drive to the place where the duck was caught last time. Everyone looked around and saw no sign of the duck.

"It should be on the mountain. Let's go up and look for it." Yang Qing said.

Everyone dragged the assault boat ashore and found a hidden place to hide.

Yang Qing took out a handful of hair plucked from the duck last time and let the two dogs smell it and patted their heads, "Archie, Xiaoxue, it's up to you!"

Leng Yi glanced at her in surprise. He didn't expect that she was so careful and even put on the duck feathers.

The two little ones jumped forward with a cry, and everyone followed.

It had rained and the ground was very wet. The two dogs sniffed and stopped, and several people looked carefully to see if there were any traces of ducks passing by.

Suddenly two dogs barked and rushed forward quickly, and everyone quickly followed.

I saw an iron-clad house in front of me, which looked like a breeding farm.

But as soon as they approached the tin house, the smell was so bad that they almost vomited.

Yang Qing took out a few masks from her bag and gave one to each person. Everyone saw that she took them from the bag, but they were actually from the space. Otherwise, how could she be so well prepared.

When a few people went in, they discovered that this place was originally a chicken farm, but the iron roof was corroded by acid rain, and the chickens in cages below were soaked to death.

Even those on the lower floor who were not exposed to the rain would starve to death because they had no one to feed them for so many days.

The weather is hot, and the rotten food is covered with maggots, which is why it smells so bad.

"It's such a pity that there are so many chickens." Lu Lin sighed, if she had come a few days earlier, there might still be some alive.

"There are eggs here!" Jiang Hao suddenly shouted.

Everyone gathered around.

There are also two baskets of eggs, covered with wooden lids, which seem to be intact.

Yang Qing picked up an egg and knocked it on the lid. The yolk and protein inside were clear and there was no smell.

"It should be edible, just pack it up." Yang Qing said.

Everyone got excited and quickly packed the eggs in the bags they brought.

Suddenly Archie and Xiaoxue started yelling outside, ran over and bit Yang Qing's trousers and dragged them out.

"There's a situation!" Yang Qing said, running out quickly, and several people quickly followed.

Archie and Xiaoxue rushed to the front, followed by a few others. After passing a small slope, they discovered that there was a pond underneath. There were at least twenty ducks in the pond.

"This is happening!" Everyone was shocked.

Yang Qing smiled and said, "That duck may have rushed down from here last time."

"Go into the water and catch ducks!"

Everyone laughed and ran into the pond, not caring whether they would get wet.

The duck was startled and paddled its feet to swim quickly.

"Go over there and outflank the two!" Yang Qing shouted. Archie and Xiaoxue also jumped into the water and barked at the duck, causing the duck to run around in fright.

Everyone opened their hands and rushed towards the duck, but the duck was very nimble in the water and swept over the edge with a flick of its tail and a turn.

Yang Qing finally caught one, but the other ducks scattered everywhere.

"That's not the way to go!"

Yang Qing looked at the pond with her hands on her hips. The pond was too big and they were short of manpower. It would be too difficult to catch him.

"We have to think of a way!" Yang Qing pulled out some thatch, rubbed it, tied the duck's feet with a straw rope and threw it on the ground, then walked back to the chicken farm.

I found a large wooden box containing chickens and started dragging it out.

"Here, two people, help!" Yang Qing shouted, and Leng Yi and Gao Yang ran over after hearing this.

After dragging the wooden box to the pond, Yang Qing asked everyone to come ashore.

As soon as the people left, all the ducks gathered together again.

Yang Qing looked to the side, took out a knife, chopped a few bamboos, and divided one piece for each person.

"Gao Yang, Katsuo, you two go to the back and drive the duck forward."

"Lu Lin and Jiang Hao, stand on both sides and watch to make sure the ducks don't fall behind."

"Leng Yi, you and I stand on both sides of the wooden box and are responsible for driving the ducks into the wooden box."

"Archie and Xiaoxue are watching from the side. If any ducks run away, bring them back to me."

"Woof!" both dogs barked. Don't worry, shit shoveler, I promise to complete the task!

Everyone got into their places and started to chase the ducks in an orderly manner. With the help of bamboo, it was much easier to chase the ducks. The ducks that strayed away were frightened back by Archie and Xiaoxue in time.

After all the ducks were rushed into the wooden box, with Yang Qing and Leng Yi guarding it, Gao Yang quickly went to the chicken farm to find an unused door panel to block the exit to prevent the ducks from running out again.

"Now you can catch a duck in an urn!" Yang Qing clapped her hands and smiled.

Gao Yang jumped in from the door panel, holding a duck in each hand, "What should we do now?"

"Kill them all and take them back!" Yang Qing said.

There is no way to raise so many ducks, so we can only kill them and take them back.

"I'll kill him!" Jiang Hao volunteered. He was a child who grew up in the countryside and had been helping his parents since he was a child. He was used to doing this.

"Let me help you!" Lu Lin said, helping to grab the duck's feet. Jiang Hao took out a dagger and wiped it on the duck's neck.

"Do you want blood?" Jiang Hao asked.

"Yes, don't let it go!" Yang Qing said quickly, "I see someone has lived in the chicken farm. I'm going to see if there is a pot in it. If there is, I can boil the blood and take it back. Don't waste it."

"I'll go with you!" Leng Yi said.

The two entered the chicken farm and found that there was another shed built outside, which was covered with asbestos tiles, so the contents inside were not damaged.

There are pots, bowls, chopsticks and some commonly used seasonings.

Yang Qing found a wooden barrel and put everything in it, while Leng Yi carried the pot.

When they walked to the pond, they found a few stones to put the pot on the holder, scooped water from the pond and boiled it in the pot. When the water boiled, the ducks could shed their feathers by boiling the water.

Yang Qing brought another large bowl and sprinkled a little salt into it. Instead of using water from the pond, he took out a bottle of mineral water from his bag and poured a little into it. It was better to be careful about what he put into his mouth.

When the salt melted, Jiang Hao raised his knife and wiped the duck's neck. Lu Lin lifted the duck up to let the blood flow out as much as possible.

The blood flowed into the bowl, and Jiang Hao quickly killed another duck. Yang Qing stirred the duck's blood with chopsticks and put it aside to solidify.

The water in the pot was boiling. Yang Qing poured the water into the bucket, put the duck he had just killed into the water and rolled it quickly. After it was all wet, he immediately picked up the duck, and the duck feathers immediately fell off when he rubbed it with his hands.

The blood in the bowl solidified, Yang Qing poured the blood into the pot, poured it out as soon as it was cooked, and immediately boiled a pot of water.
