Samsara Paradise: Shadow King

Chapter 131 Heretics and Xianfeng Temple

Chapter 131 Heretics and Xianfeng Temple

“If you don’t kill, hatred will never end!

If I don't steal, what difference will it make if I am as strong as I am?

If it is not evil to ‘yin’, all sentient beings are evil!

If you don’t lie, your dreams will be empty!

Don't be greedy for wine, worry about the fluctuations!

Don’t delay in happiness, it’s just a moment of youth!

If you are not greedy for sleep, there will be no relief from suffering!

If you don’t indulge in ‘jade’, all your actions will be meaningless! "

In the Buddhist hall, the leading monk sat cross-legged, closed his eyes, and seemed to be savoring this "sage quote". After a long time, he exhaled and praised:

"I praise Master Xianhong for teaching me the true Dharma and benefiting thousands of monks. His merits are immeasurable!"

Other monks in the temple also answered in unison:

"I praise Master Xianhong for teaching me the true Dharma and benefiting thousands of monks. His merits are immeasurable!"

What needs to be explained here is that the title "Shangren" does not represent a monk's status in the temple, but is just an evaluation of Buddhist attainments. In Buddhism, "Shangren" refers to someone who strictly adheres to A monk who has precepts and is proficient in all Buddhist teachings is also the highest Buddhist attainment of a bhikkhu monk. The lower-level "Dharma Master" refers to a monk who is proficient in Buddhism and can explain scriptures to others. The famous Buddhist monk "Xuan Zang" in my country is known as Call it a mage.

The second-level "lawyer" refers to an ordained bhikkhu who is proficient in and strictly adheres to the precepts. In different sects, he is also called a lawyer, sutra master, commentator, lawyer, Zen master, etc., while "monk capital", Titles such as "Sengzheng" and "Fatou" represent the monk's ZZ level, which is the level of monk officials, and not all monk officials serve as abbots in temples (that is, the abbot position that we are more familiar with), and In the imperial court, he was called the "Temple Master".

The irony is that Master Xianfeng, who was respected as the "Master" because he strictly observed the precepts and understood all Buddhist teachings, actually took the lead in leading Xianfeng Temple to break the precepts and carry the Buddha, worship the dragon, become obsessed with the power of immortality, and become For complete heresy.

For Buddhists, "heretics" refers to religions other than Buddhism and is a distinction between Buddhist concepts and methods of practice, which is the theory of the four heretics, namely: heretics outside of Buddhism, heretics who adhere to Buddhism, and heretics who study Buddhism. and heretics who undermine Buddhism. Among them, the last item of "heretics that undermine Buddhism" refers to those who think they are the right way, but attempt to subvert the true Buddha's way. Of course, this also includes other religions that do not recognize the correctness of Buddhism. These are " Buddha's enemy"!

Once you deviate from the Buddha's path and become an enemy of the Buddha, no matter how much merit you have accumulated before, it will all disappear, because the "enemy of the Buddha" is an existence higher than the fourfold precepts of "killing, stealing, cheating, and lying", or in other words, it is higher than everything else. The worst karma outside of the precepts. Therefore, in a strict sense, the master of the Immortal Peak who changed his faith and built a cradle for the dragon and the monk who broke the precepts and guarded the courtyard outside the Source Palace are both the same type of people. They are both deviating from the Buddha. Tao, those who fall into heretics and become enemies of the Buddha.

How do people become Buddhas?

Directly point to the human heart and become a Buddha by seeing one's nature? If one can become a Buddha by directing one's heart directly, where do all the living beings tumbling in the sea of desire come from?

Doing good deeds and accumulating virtue, a bodhisattva in the flesh? Doing good deeds and giving in order to become a Buddha are just treating Buddhahood as a business!

If you stick to the precepts, can you cross to the other side? If you have no evil intentions, no inner demons, and no evil thoughts, why would you need discipline? If your heart has violated the precepts, what is the use of adhering to the strict rules of the flesh and skin?

They are originally a group of monks who have broken the precepts, and they are originally a group of monks who have become heretics. Since this is the case, it is better to follow your original intention and follow the "Buddha" in your heart!

The originally solemn Buddhist hall became chaotic because of the group of monks who had understood the "Buddhist Dharma". The contractor in the corner stood on tiptoe, glanced inside, and immediately opened his eyes in disgust and said:

"The meat they eat is eh!"

"Just get used to it! There are more derivative worlds that challenge people's outlook on life! These are, at most, a piece of cake!"

Beside him, another older contractor lit the cigarette in his mouth, which was no longer surprising.

"Oh! Speaking of which, Brother Crow, you are about to reach the second level! You are so awesome!"

"Hey! What's the deal? It's just that you can save your life better than others!"

"Brother Crow is so humble! By the way, Brother Crow, why did you come to the paradise?"

"Ah, this is hiss! Phew! There's nothing to be ashamed of. I'm a good person! I'm good at playing small cards. I had bad luck for a while and lost a lot of money. A living person can't be choked to death by urinating! I'll borrow it I made a lot of money from a company, what is it called, 'Val' what is it?"

"Pfft!"

The contractor's words stopped abruptly, and two blades made of shadows each pierced their chests. The two people whose conversation was interrupted fell to the ground. The last sight they saw was those screaming, wailing, and... The mournful monks were slaughtered.

"These monks finally released the evil spirits somewhere, right?!"

The pool of blood under his feet had dyed the uppers of his shoes red. Zhao Zijin looked at the opened temple door. The shadows under his feet quickly spread, and then countless shadow soldiers filed in from it.

"Everyone, let's make a scene!"

He raised his hand to transform the corpses of monks on the ground into shadow soldiers. Among them, two monks were a bit special. One shook his fist and the other danced. Their combat prowess in life could not be said to be outstanding, but compared to ordinary monks. But they are much stronger, and he plans to use them as nourishment for the lonely hero to strengthen. The monk who uses boxing is named Narayana. When fighting, he will use [Humph] to increase his attack power and strength attributes. In mythology, Narayana is an important god in Brahmanism-Hinduism. name. In the most common case, this is an alias for Vishnu. After the rise of Buddhism, Vishnu, Narayana, who was originally one of the three major gods of Brahmanism, also became the protector of Buddhism and became the "in the world of desire". "Heaven", and is considered to be "this heaven has many powers". As the protector of the Dharma, King Narayana (god) calls Narayana Narayana or Vinyu (i.e. "Vishnu Heaven", the universal heaven), and says that he often fights with King Asura.

Hui Lin of the Tang Dynasty pointed out: "Narayan, in Sanskrit, is the name of the world of desire. This heaven has a lot of power. Those who desire more power should make offerings to Naluoyan. If you pray sincerely, you will gain more divine power." It can be seen from the sentence "you will gain more divine power" that there were indeed many people who "provided services" in the hope of obtaining Narayana's divine power. Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty was considered to be the reincarnation of Zen Master Chou and was called the "Defense Elder", and "Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty had a surname of Yang, taboo Jian, and a nickname of Naluoyan." During the Wei, Jin, Sui and Tang Dynasties, "take care of things and make offerings, and pray sincerely." The concept that Narayana Vajra can obtain divine power did exist, and some people have practiced it. In addition, there are many records on how to obtain Narayana's divine power in the practice methods of Tantric Buddhism in the Tang Dynasty, such as what is recorded in the "Vajra Mani Medicine Sutra":

"At that time, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Mahasattva said to the Buddha again: "World Honored One, this vajra mani medicine can also benefit all those who uphold the truth in the future... If you wear it on your body and recite it, the evil gods and ghosts of Vinayaka will He gallops away without any hindrance, gaining great power like Narayana. "

Its secret names are Dharma Protector Vajra and Transformation Vajra. Its statue is a Rakshasa form, with a green body. The left hand holds a fist at the waist, and the right hand holds an eight-spoke wheel on the chest. "Narayana can also be seen in the samaya assembly, the subtle assembly, the offering assembly, the descending three-life assembly and the descending three-life samaya assembly. It can be seen that Narayana is found in both the Vajra and the womb treasure mandalas. Therefore, It is also one of the important gods in Tantric Buddhism.

The monk wielding the Zen staff is called the Mysterious King Kong. During battle, he will use [Hajiang's Spirit Resurrection] to improve his defense and physical attributes. In mythology, the Mysterious King Kong is also called the "Yaksha King". Names include Vajra Secret Trace, Vajra Hercules, Vajra Holder, Vajrapani Bodhisattva, and Vajra Holder God. He is a ghost god with incomparable power. This powerful man was originally an attendant of Vinyutian in India, and later transformed into a brave protector in Buddhism. He is the seventh heavenly king among the "twenty heavens".

Because he holds a vajra, he is also called the Vajra God. Because his body, speech, and mind are fast and secretive, he is also called the Secret Vajra. Later, he made a vow to always get close to the Buddha, to serve at his side, and to hear the secrets and secrets of all the Buddhas. Later he really became the leader of five hundred followers. There is only one Mysterious Vajra, but there is one statue on each side of the three-door hall of the temple. He wears a crown on his head, exposes his upper body, and holds a vajra pestle in an angry look.

According to the records in the "Golden Light Sutra", the Vajra Warrior is a great king of ghosts and gods, and his five hundred followers are all great Bodhisattvas, and they are all listeners who support the "Golden Light Sutra". This powerful man often used the vajra to crush the head of the heretic when he encountered a heretic who was defeated in an argument with the Buddha behind the Buddha's back. But he also had a very emotional and spiritual side. When the Buddha passed away, he, who usually accompanied the Buddha, was almost heartbroken. "His five internal organs were torn apart, his heart and soul were ground to pieces, he was staggering and depressed, and it took him a long time to wake up." He immediately stood up and sat down, choking with tears. ’ After he passed out, he was still overcome with sorrow and said: ‘Why did the Lord abandon me and attain nirvana independently? Such great suffering, who should this vajra be used to protect? Even if you throw it away! ’ From these sentences contained in the Vajrayana Sutra, the Secret Trace of the Buddha’s Entry into Nirvana, one can quite see the Vajrayana’s sincere devotion to the Buddha.

In addition, in my country's classical novel "The Romance of the Gods", the Vajra Warriors were made by Zheng Lun and Chen Qi after their deaths, and were called the Second Generals of Hengha.

After being integrated into Gu Xiong's body as an afterimage, the latter's [True Meaning Martial Arts·Baji Fist] will have an additional effect of [Humph General's Spirit Resurrection] or [Harrison General's Spirit Resurrection] as needed within the duration of the buff effect. .

First, he commanded the shadow soldiers who were good at sneaking to penetrate into the interior of Xianfeng Temple as much as possible. When the frontal attack was launched, these murderous intentions lurking in the dark also attacked together, making the front yard of Xianfeng Temple the first step of the attack. It fell quickly for a while.

Although they are ready to join the world, and even prepare to join the next huge war, most of the traffic facilities in Xianfeng Temple have not been restored. For example, after breaking through the front yard, the bridge that wants to go to the next area is because of the previous The temple was closed and destroyed. Normally, one can only take a detour from the mountain path on the other side.

However, Zhao Zijin has a mount, a shadow dragon with the ability to fly!

"Come as promised!"

After saying these words, Zhao Zijin gathered the shadow soldiers in the front yard, took them all with him, put them into the shadows under him, jumped on the back of the dragon, and rushed straight to the next area, while several other contractors Attack from the mountain path just mentioned and meet him later.

The prototype of Senboji Temple is the two major esoteric sects of Shingon and Tendai in our real world. Among them, the name of Mount Kongo where Senboji is located comes from the Kongouji of Shingon, which was built by Kukai Buddhist master in the Heian period. It is the birthplace of Tantric Buddhism in the island country. The people of the island country call it "Kangbo Daishi" as a sign of respect. The name of Kuangbo Temple comes from a work by Kukai called "Kingo Peak Pavilion All Yoga Yoga Sutra". It goes here It later became the place where Kukai lived throughout his life, and finally became his burial place. His tomb is located in the "Okunoin" on this mountain.

In the game, the prototype of Okunoin, where Keiko appears, comes from the Koyasan Master Church in Kongobuji Temple. The similarity lies not only in the outside of the temple, but also in the decoration inside, which is almost exactly the same, just like the game and the temple. The boundaries of reality seem to be blurred at this moment.

Although Buddhism in the island country originated from the cultural dissemination of the Tang Dynasty in my country, the Tiantai Sect in our country is not an esoteric sect. The Tiantai sect in the island country was founded by "Zai Cheng", a monk who studied abroad in the Tang Dynasty. He combined the Tiantai sect of the Tang Dynasty and the esoteric Buddhism of the Tang Dynasty. Their thoughts - the Star Offering Dharma Assembly mentioned above originated from "Tang Mi" - founded their unique local Tiantai Sect in the island country.

In the game, the main hall that attracts attention in Xianfeng Temple is based on the Sanjusangendo Hall of the Tendai Sect. Its official name is "Renkaoin" because the main hall is separated by thirty-three pillars. Known as Sanjusangendo, the most amazing thing is that although this building is entirely made of wood, it has experienced nearly 125 years of wind and rain and is still strong and solid. The main hall is meters long and is the longest wooden structure building in the world. It was built under the order of Emperor Goshirakawa. It enshrines one thousand and one Thousand-Armed Avalokitesvara statues. The Avalokitesvara statue in the center is more than three meters high.

These Guanyin statues are all made of copper inlay and gold plating. They look lifelike and radiant at the same time. Unfortunately, in the past eight hundred years, this place has not been without a disaster, a fire. After that, the main hall we can see now can only be a restored version. If you want to see its former glory, you have to enter the game and experience the Kamakura period through the perspective of the protagonist Wolf, the most magnificent Sanjusangendo. period.

Walking on the mountain road, from time to time, deformed and short Luanbo people would have their throats slit by shadow ninjas and thrown out from various dark places. These ninjas belonging to Xianfeng Temple, like the Tarō soldiers, are derivatives of Xianfeng Temple's many transformation experiments. , In addition to looking after the homes and courtyards of the monks of Xianfeng Temple, they also go down the mountain to kidnap people needed for experiments, spy on information, collect medicinal materials, etc.

The term "Ranbo (らっぱ)ra ppa" is also called "Toubosupa (すっぱ)su ppa". During the Warring States Period, the daimyo recruited people from the samurai and bandits in the field and asked them to carry out espionage activities. This was the most common form of espionage. The origin of the profession of ninja, so this word can refer to "ninja".

Their prototype is the Monkey King who also comes from "Princess Mononoke". Just like the Luanbo people in the game, the Monk also wears hats and single-tooth clogs. He is short in stature and belongs to Buddhism. His main responsibility is to spy on intelligence. group, the weapon they use is a "prop umbrella", and the ninja tool "Jincheng Iron Wall" inherited by the Ranpo clan is also an iron fan umbrella. The former is the prototype of the latter.

"In total, the battle is the most intense in three locations. The Buddhist hall in front, the slope mountain path above, and the entrance to the main hall at the end. Let's do it one by one! I don't know how they are doing there? A mere armored warrior shouldn't be able to stop them. Bar?"

Muttering to himself, Zhao Zijin used the [Hand of Dominator] to push open the door of the Buddhist hall in front of him. The door shaft creaked, and blue flames burned blazingly inside the Buddhist hall. Several figures surrounded the center. There is a fierce battle going on at the Gomo Altar.

"There are only two of them? But they can fight against Xiwa, Lone Hero, Jizu, Black Feather, and Crow Feather at the same time. There are a total of five generals under my command. I think their strength is extraordinary! Worth collecting!"

Different from the overwhelming situation on Zhao Zijin's side, the five contractors on the other side encountered strong obstacles to their progress.

In just a few face-to-face efforts, the stone armor and golden toad were knocked away, and the baron was almost cut open at the waist. The armored warrior glared at the pair of eyes shining with an unknown purple light and roared at them.

"Is this an armored warrior? Are you sure he's not an armored warrior? Are you sure he's not fused with the emperor's armor?"
