Chapter 6 Hunting in the Dark

Chapter 6 Hunting in the Dark
In the forest ahead, an enemy held a longbow in his hand and leaned against a big tree. He had just shot an arrow, but it didn't hit anyone.

He didn't expect to hit anyone. The task given to them by the leader was to suppress fire and ensure that the other side didn't escape.

Their plan was successful. The bows and arrows on their side did not stop, and it was difficult for the other side to rush out for the time being.

He nocked another arrow, observed the movement around him, and then quietly stepped out to prepare for another arrow.

There was a sudden pain in his forehead. He opened his eyes wide and found that a bow and arrow had hit his head the moment he appeared.

"Why am I so unlucky..." His consciousness gradually fell into darkness, and he didn't even understand why he had such bad luck before he died.

He didn't believe that the opponent was aiming at him and shot him. In such a dark night, he could only release it at will, but it hit him.

After Herage hit the target with this arrow, he bent his bow again and aimed at another tree.

The moment the man behind the tree appeared, Herague loosened his bowstring, and the man fell down in response.

"Charge!" Emil didn't have time to admire Herage's bow skills and rushed out first.

The knight-level body allowed him to see his surroundings clearly in the dark, but not as clearly as Herague, and he couldn't see very far.

After Emil discovered that Herrag shot two people in succession, he decisively chose to break out.

He relied on the jungle trees as a cover to avoid the arrows. After a few moments, he approached an enemy and slashed with his sword, causing the man's head to fall to the ground.

Herage and others followed closely behind, looking for opportunities as he advanced.

As long as the opponent shows his head, he raises his hand and shoots an arrow, and he has never missed it so far.

"warn!"

The vision suddenly flashed red, and Deep Blue gave a prompt to dodge to the right.

Herage didn't hesitate and immediately rolled to the right.

A giant sword landed where he had just been.

"Huh?" The man who threw the giant sword and attacked said softly, obviously not expecting that Herague could dodge the attack.

Herage was afraid for a moment. If he hadn't dodged, he would have been split open from the Tianling Gai by the giant sword.

He relied on Deep Blue's prompts to escape, but others were not so lucky.

The three people chasing after them were all knight-level, and the other two each killed a guard.

The bearded Hagen covered his neck with his hands. He was wiped by a thin man holding a dagger and fell to the ground weakly, with blood flowing all over the ground.

The third knight-level strongman also uses a sword with a very slender blade. This kind of sword is usually used to perform fancy court swordsmanship.

This person had a graceful figure. When Herague took a closer look, he realized that he was actually a woman.

The female knight pierced the throat with her sword and killed a guard, then turned around and stared at Herague.

"Deep Blue, detect the opponent's body data."

"Strength 2.1, agility 2.3, physique 1.9, spirit 1.2, and the body contains unknown energy."

Herage put away his long bow and drew his long sword.

The opponent's agility is much higher than his own, so running will only expose his back and make him die faster, so he can only fight to the death.

At this time, a hand pressed his shoulder.

Emil, who was about to fight out, turned around and came back. He said to the still alive Herrags: "You go first, they are coming for me."

"Emil, I thought you ran away like a mouse." The man holding the giant sword laughed.

Emil said expressionlessly: "Long time no see, Marco."

Marco gritted his teeth, pointed at Emil angrily and said: "You are still so annoying, you always look aloof, no one looks down on you! I am also a knight now, and I will completely trample you under my feet tonight..." Herage didn't hear what he said clearly. He and the remaining four people faced another trouble.

The three knight-level warriors went to deal with Emir, and the remaining two teams of archers all came to deal with Herlag and the others.

They stood guard in the woods ahead, using bows and arrows to suppress Herag and the others, preventing them from going out.

Herage took off the longbow he was carrying and said to Jimmy and the others: "I'll kill them, and you can adapt to the situation."

"Deep Blue, plan the best route, and aim to kill everyone on the opponent's side."

"Route planning is complete."

A map marking the route and enemy locations appeared in front of him. Herage observed the map from a bird's-eye view, and then started hunting.

Deep Blue monitored the actions of everyone on the other side at the same time, and all arrow trajectories were predicted and displayed in advance.

Herage easily dodged these arrows in the dark night, bent his bow and arrows, and shot the enemies in the forest one after another.

At first, these people didn't feel anything. As more and more people fell, they realized why there were so few people on their side.

Herage was like a ghost lurking in the night, and they couldn't locate him at all.

When Herage kills a person, he immediately changes his position according to the route. The arrow will always be shot at the position where he was before. The movements of these people are always a beat slower.

After he shot the eleventh person, these people finally could not withstand the tremendous pressure and began to retreat.

"Help us Lord Marco, they have knight-level shooters!" One person cried and ran to the four people who were fighting fiercely.

Marco frowned: "Knight-level shooter? The intelligence didn't say that, Sean, go and deal with him!"

Sean was the thin man holding the dagger. He disappeared silently into the darkness. This was a common concealment method used by assassins.

It is common sense that assassins are the best to deal with shooters.

"A knight is approaching!"

The moment Sean entered the range, Deep Blue gave a warning and marked the location on the map.

Herage turned around and looked around. There seemed to be no one in that position.

If it weren't for Shenlan's reminder, he probably wouldn't have been able to notice this person touching his back.

He was hiding behind a tree and seemed to be shooting an arrow forward, but suddenly changed direction and shot Sean instead.

Sean, who was advancing silently, saw this scene, his muscles tensed up and his pupils shrank.

"It was at least a hundred meters away. How did he find me?" This thought flashed through Sean's mind.

The arrow was already close to his face. Sean twisted his body in a weird posture and barely dodged the unexpected arrow.

But his right arm was still scratched and the skin was a little broken.

This minor injury was innocuous, and Sean didn't take it to heart.

He dodged the arrow and felt more confident.

"The opponent is not a knight-level archer, he just has accurate archery skills." He came to this conclusion based on the speed of the bow and arrow.

Herrag's sudden attack missed with an arrow. Sean thought that he would be less likely to be hit by the arrow now that he was prepared.

On the other side, after seeing the arrow miss, Herague immediately changed his position and went deeper into the forest.

"Want to escape?" A smile appeared on Sean's lips. The assassin's favorite thing was to hunt down escaped prey.
