Chapter 23 Hagrid's Hut

this day
After finishing Professor Flitwick's class, Ding Hai planned to go to the library to read for a while. After all, he still had to complete the task of becoming a professor at Hogwarts. What could he do without reading poetry books?
It happened that the three little ones were also together, so we stopped by the library and found an empty seat and sat around.

Harry handed Hermione the book about Nico Flamel he got last night.

"Hermione, this is Nico Flamel's information."

When Harry took out the book, he carefully looked around, as if he was afraid that others would know.

Hermione covered her mouth in surprise: "Harry, you... last night."

Apparently she guessed something, but she didn't say anything else.

After all, walls have ears, and if anyone knew that Harry went to the library for a night out last night, he might be punished by school rules.

"Hermione, you can check it out. Is there any record of the Philosopher's Stone?"

Harry adjusted his glasses as they slid up to the tip of his nose.

"Okay, I'll take a look."

Hermione opened this heavy and thick book, and then found the records about the Sorcerer's Stone.

"Here, Nico Flamel is the only known maker of the Philosopher's Stone. The Philosopher's Stone has magical powers and can turn any metal into pure gold. It can also create a potion of immortality. After drinking it, people will live forever. The Magic Stone is something Lu Wei guards on the third floor. As for why it appears in the school, it probably has something to do with our principal."

"Oh my God! Wouldn't it be dangerous if the evil wizard got the Philosopher's Stone?"

Ron exclaimed.

Hermione waited for him and said, "Shut up Ron! You don't want everyone in the school to know about this, right?"

Ron had no choice but to keep silent.

"So, if the mysterious man wants to get the magic stone, he probably wants to refine the potion of immortality and achieve eternal life?"

Harry touched the minibus and guessed.

"It's very possible that this is the purpose." Hermione nodded.

"Then we must stop him, but the first thing is to stop Professor Snape. He and the mysterious man must have a story that they have to tell."

Ron whispered seriously.

But after hearing this, Harry thought about what Dumbledore said to him last night. Now he was not sure whether Snape was the Dark Lord's contact?
"Okay, let's put this heavy topic aside. Not long ago, Hagrid invited us to visit his cabin. I think you are willing to accept this invitation?" Harry asked instead.

"Of course!" ×2
"What about you Tom?" Hermione looked at Ding Hai.

Ding Hai expressed his response with his finger.

"Very well, let's see you tonight!"

It happened that the four little wizards had nothing important to do in the evening, so they could take this time to visit Hagrid.

Ding Hai was still somewhat impressed by Hagrid's somewhat plump and muscular hybrid giant.

I met him last time when I was fishing in Black Lake.

Hagrid is a gamekeeper and an avid pursuer of fire dragons. He is also extremely persistent in those ferocious magical animals.

He just happened to take this opportunity to try it out, maybe he could catch some good magical animals.

And Harry also decided to take this opportunity to tell Hagrid about the Philosopher's Stone.

So, when night falls.
The four little ones, wearing invisibility cloaks, arrived at the door of Hagrid's hut.

Boom boom boom!
Harry knocked on the wooden door first.

Squeak!
Hagrid opened the door and was a little surprised to see Harry and the others: "It turns out it's Harry and you guys. I thought it would take a few days for you to come~ Now come in quickly! Although you came at the wrong time."

Hagrid brought a few little ones into the house and gave each of them a cup of warm water to quench their thirst. "Hagrid, I think we know the whereabouts of the Philosopher's Stone, and we suspect that Snape is the one who wants to steal it!"

Ron said loudly.

Hagrid was sitting in front of them and was stunned after hearing Ron's words.

The bearded man trembled and chuckled: "Although what you said is a bit ridiculous, I can guarantee that Snape is not the person who wants to steal the Sorcerer's Stone!"

Seeing Hagrid's vow, Harry asked: "Why?"

He didn't know why Hagrid was so sure?

"Snape is one of the teachers who guards the Philosopher's Stone. Well, it seems I said something I shouldn't have said."

Hagrid realized that he seemed to have slipped his words and quickly stopped talking.

Ding Hai didn't pay much attention to their chat, but he noticed something seemed to be cooking in the pot on the side.

Stick out your head and take a look. Isn't this an egg?
Such a big egg!

Could it be that Hagrid wants to eat egg fried rice?
He happened to be hungry too.

So, he took out a napkin and tied it around his neck, holding a knife in one hand and a fork in the other, and he was ready to eat.

After Hagrid caught a glimpse of this, he couldn't help but ran over and exclaimed: "Merlin's beard! Tom, what are you doing? This egg is not for you to eat!"

Hagrid picked up the eggs from the pot and quickly placed them on the table.

"Hagrid, what is this egg?" Harry turned his eyes to Hagrid.

But Ron quickly interrupted: "I know what kind of egg this is! Hagrid, how did you get it? This kind of egg is hard to get/"

"Uh~ Well, now that you guys have discovered it, I won't hide it. I won this by drinking with a strange wizard in a tavern."

"Wait a minute! This egg seems to be moving!"

Hermione suddenly spoke, and everyone's eyes immediately focused on the egg.

After a while, fragments of the eggshell flew everywhere, and a cute baby dragon slowly climbed out of it.

The little guy just made a sound and looked energetic. His green skin looked a bit tough. Although his claws were small, they looked sharp.

"Oh my God! This is actually a dragon!" Hermione looked at the newborn dragon in surprise.

"It's still a Norwegian Spinosaurus!" Ron also echoed.

"What a cute little guy. Look at its tiny figure. It's really the most amazing creature in the world."

Hagrid's heart has been completely captured by this young dragon, and now the whole world is filled with this little guy.

But Harry's words made him worried: "But isn't it forbidden for private breeding of dragons in our school? If you are discovered, Hagrid, you will probably be punished."

"Oh my gosh, this is terrible news, but Harry, as long as you don't tell it, I guess no one will know but us, right?"

Hagrid stared at them eagerly, which made Ding Hai feel numb all over. After all, it was a bit uncomfortable to be stared at by a big man like this.

boom!
Suddenly I heard a slight sound of footsteps outside the house.

Ding Hai's cat ears immediately detected it.

He hurriedly ran out of the window, and then saw a small figure sneaking away trying to escape, but how could he let him do so!
So, he took out a mallet and hit the figure directly on the head.

Bang!
When he heard the sound, he thought it was a good start.

Seeing the man fall down, Ding Hai also quickly took out a rope and tied it up before dragging him into the house.
