The Glory of Noxus

Chapter 46 Winter’s Claw Warmother Sejuani

Chapter 46 Winter’s Claw Warmother Sejuani

The cold weather seems to be like a continuous drizzle, soaking into the Iron Thorn Mountains.

Boundless snowflakes fell from the sky, one after another, covering the earth with a brand new white coat.

A tall figure with disheveled hair and a fur coat walked slowly on the mountain road full of traces.

With the help of the dim starlight, you can faintly see the tall figure with a strong body. The bulging muscles hold up the coat, like an undulating mountain, strong and powerful.

Every time you take a step, you can clearly feel Peiran's power.

Facing the increasingly cold wind, the tall figure showed no intention of stopping and continued walking forward.

Across the frozen river, the lights flickered in the distance, seeming to depict warmth and satiety.

The tall figure couldn't help but slow down, as if recalling the blazing fire in the former residence. The plush quilts were spread around the fireplace, which was refreshing and warm.

Whoa!

The ice suddenly cracked, awakening the tall figure who was immersed in memories.

Looking up at the falling ice and snow, the tall figure shuddered and wrapped himself tightly in the already wet fur coat.

"Is the cold wave starting to come?"

Looking at the low sun in the distance, the tall figure frowned.

This indicates that an extremely dangerous cold wave may sweep across the Freljord in the dead of winter at any time.

Not far away on the river, he saw Sejuani's main force marching in the distance.

The continuous victory of the war has allowed the Winter's Claw tribe to absorb dozens of other clans and win over many blood alliances.

Now Sejuani is a true war mother - with thousands of blood warriors, hoplites, mammoth riders and ice blood under her command.

In front of the main force, the vanguard troops were setting up dome tents, which served as residences for her blood allies and outposts for scouts.

A blue boundary pole marked Sejuani's tent, embroidered with runes, and stood in the middle of the camp.

As the tall figure walked forward, saliva dripped down his long chin, and his unbearable hunger made him grit his teeth.

At first he thought it was him, but he soon saw a wolfdog trotting past.

He snarled at the dog, trying to control his jaw and escape the animal's intrusion into his consciousness.

He found Sejuani helping the Blood Covenant set up a tent.

This is Sejuani's style - taking care of everything and doing it herself.

Setting up a mammoth skin tent on the muddy ground was really a chore. Sejuani stabbed a giant-tusked spear into the mud, stumbled and fell to her knees.

The nearby blood alliance warriors also suffered greatly in the freezing rain, and curses came and went in response to each other.

Sejuani stood up and set up the mammoth skin tent. She saw a tall figure walking not far away, and her deep voice covered the scattered wind and snow.

"Looking at the weather, we don't have to fight anymore, Udyr."

Udyr laughed and looked at Sejuani, who had broad shoulders and wore a horned helmet: "The Noxians have launched an all-out war, and I think you need help."

The consciousness of a dozen passing horses filled Udyr's mind, and he felt their frozen muscles trembling involuntarily.

Udyr said harshly to the nearest horse: "Shut up! No oats!"

The Blood Alliance clans around Sejuani were startled, some looked horrified, and seemed to have difficulty understanding the scene in front of them.

But Sejuani gave them a stern look.

The blood alliance clans immediately turned back and continued working. No matter how weird the shaman in front of them behaved, they had no right to interfere.

Udyr hid his hands behind his back and took out a silver thorn from his hidden pocket.

He dug the thorn point into the palm of his hand.

While not as effective as meditation, the pain cleared his mind and allowed him to focus and speak like a normal person.

"When the war starts, you need more power, but you shouldn't cooperate with those guys! They are no longer real Freljordians!"

"We don't have time, Udyr." Sejuani waited until his eyes settled and pointed to the crumbling tent beside him before she spoke.

"We must win this war, or we will freeze to death!" She gestured to several older soldiers nearby.

"Most of the people with straight teeth gave up their rations to their children. Yesterday, I helped Ogay bury her daughter." Sejuani pursed her lips, which turned dark purple due to the cold, bitterly. "That child lived for two summers, but it looked thin and small, as if it had just reached its first spring." She sighed, looked away, and continued.

"I will never let any child freeze to death or starve to death because of my decision."

"Then attack immediately." Udyr pointed south, pointing in the direction of the Noxian Legion's invasion.

"Trust the ax and the muscle, the claws and the teeth. The old fashioned way."

"The old trick is to send out the strongest warriors," Sejuani interrupted.

"Which clan is stronger than the Ursine? Without their help, how many people would have to die before we could cross the river? I have promised my people strength and victory, and I will never let my army starve to death."

She put a hand on Udyr's shoulder, "I know you have every reason to worry about them."

"You will never understand the power of the old god. He has gradually awakened, and you can't hide his thoughts from him!" Udyr looked at Sejuani in front of him angrily and pushed back.

"Werebears. They are slaves of the old gods and will never obey the orders of outsiders."

The pain in his palms was nothing. The determination in his heart made Udyr wake up completely, and he lowered his voice.

"Their bloodlust will be contagious. Eat us up and wipe us clean."

"You've survived tougher adversities."

Udyr's mind began to lose control, and the consciousness of pigs, horses, wolves, humans, and Ernuk all crashed into his mind.

He resisted, knowing this was his last chance to dissuade Sejuani.

"I have no choice!" There was no trace of intimacy or respect in Sejuani's tone.

"As you once said, a new tribe will surrender to Avarosa every month, and in my clan, people die every day!"

"How can we make Winter's Claw stronger without defeating the Noxian Legion?"

"Only on our own?"

Udyr's hope sank: "Then let me take my leave,"

He said in a tone of resignation: "The hunting lord will not be happy to see me."

Sejuani's expression softened, then she looked at the frustrated Udyr and smiled slyly: "No!"

"That's why I need you to stay. You can help negotiate with the bears, or let me die in this storm."

Udyr was silent. He looked at the tall, strong woman with a resolute face in front of him, and vaguely saw the skinny little girl he met many seasons ago.

Maybe deep down he hoped that Sejuani would never grow up.

Sejuani desperately needed his guidance then, but now, or in a few years, Udyr worries that he will become a burden and encumbrance to her.

"I can't look at you, Old God," Udyr said in a difficult tone.

Tap!Tap!Tap!

Before Udyr could finish speaking, hurried footsteps interrupted his words.

A blood warrior leader who was clad in armor and fur, with blood marks on his face, walked quickly to Sejuani's side and spoke in a low voice.

"The Blood Warrior team led by Lukash is missing!"

Sejuani's hard face changed, she looked solemnly at the leader of the Blood Warriors, and asked quickly: "What time? Where are you?"

The leader of the Blood Warriors looked at the shaman in front of him and hesitated.

"Udyr, come in together!"

Sejuani patted the leader of the Blood Warriors on the shoulder, walked toward the mammoth skin tent that had been set up, and looked back at Udyr halfway.

Just as Udyr was about to take a step, the consciousness of various animals appeared in his mind again.

He bent over, hunched over, breathing heavily, and a dim blue glow appeared in his tired eyes.

"Old God Thunder, I will never let you succeed!"

I asked the editor and there were no recommendations.
