Chapter 12: By drilling wood to make fire, I become a saint!

Yang An looked at the old man who suddenly appeared in front of him and couldn't help but fell into deep thought.

Nowadays, when the human race is born, even the Nuwa Empress who created the human race does not pay much attention to the human race. Who will come to the human race at this time?

"The seniors think highly of the juniors too much. As long as the juniors know, they will tell you everything they know!" Yang An said.

Although he still didn't know who the old man in front of him was, he already had some guesses in his mind.

Moreover, no matter who the old man in front of him is, he must be a strong man far superior to him.

On the premise of not offending the other party, trying to avoid conflicts has naturally become an inevitable choice.

"I see that the human race lives in this area, and their lives are considered stable. Why does it have to change? Why not just let nature take its course?" the old man said.

"Natural selection means everything is like sailing against the current. If you don't advance, you will retreat!" Yang An said.

"Why don't you go straight down the river instead of sailing against it?" the old man asked.

"How can we follow the source and go straight down?" Yang An said.

"Why continue?" the old man asked.

"A drop of water can penetrate stone. A living person is like an ant. He must have the ambition to be a swan. His life is like thin paper, but he has an unyielding heart!" Yang An said firmly.

The old man nodded and no longer asked, but looked thoughtful, as if he understood something.

But in the end, he still let out a sigh, but just like that, he still couldn't achieve what he wanted.

"Senior, you might as well visit the human race more and see how our human race survives on this vast land!" Yang An said.

The question and answer just now was actually not complicated. It was just about how the human race should survive.

According to the old man's opinion, the human race should let nature take its course, rather than forcing anything.

But he believes that the human race must change, because if it wants to survive on the ancient land, the human race must change.

Although it is difficult to sail against the current, these are what the human race must experience if they want to gradually become stronger.

If we just follow the trend, the human race will be destroyed!
It is impossible for the old man not to understand such a simple truth. The old man just feels that the human race has little hope.

Compared with other creatures in the prehistoric world, the human race is indeed too weak. How easy is it to develop and grow?

According to his judgment, what the old man is looking for is probably the basis for the human race to gain a foothold on the ancient land and rely on it for survival.

The old man nodded. He became a human being because he felt the opportunity to become enlightened!
Now, although he has not yet found the opportunity to become enlightened, this feeling has become stronger after talking with the human race in front of him.

In the following decades, the old man no longer covered himself up and often appeared among the human race, carefully observing the changes in the human race.

Sometimes, the old man would sit down and talk with Yang An, or even give Yang An a few words of advice.

After decades of observation, it would be unreasonable if Yang An still didn't know who the old man in front of him was.

If nothing else, this old man is Lao Tzu, the leader of the Three Pure Ones!

It seems that after Empress Nuwa attained enlightenment and became a saint, a powerful person like me can no longer sit still!

Think about it, among the six disciples of Daozu Hongjun, I am the first, and he is the senior brother of Daozu.

Nowadays, my elder brother has not yet attained enlightenment and become a saint. On the contrary, Empress Nuwa has attained enlightenment and attained sainthood first. Can I not be in a hurry?
However, as far as he knew, since I have come to the human race, I am not far away from attaining enlightenment and becoming a saint.

On this day, Yang An was sitting and discussing with the old man, when suddenly a human race hurried in.

"Chief, I finally understand. It turns out that my human race has been lacking fire!"

This was a big man from the human race. When he spoke, his face was full of excitement. "Since we lack fire, how can we get fire?" Yang An asked.

Humans are actually no strangers to fire. When lightning strikes dead wood, flames will ignite.

But fire cannot burn forever, and thunder cannot always hit dead trees. What humans need is fire that can be freely controlled.

"Chief, I have thought of a way, and I will demonstrate it to you now!" the big man said excitedly.

Then, the big man took out the tools and demonstrated them in front of Yang An.

Yang An recognized at a glance that this was the most primitive tool for drilling wood to make fire, and he naturally understood what would happen next.

It seemed like it was the first time for the big man to use this kind of tool. After several failures, he slowly became proficient.

Soon, with the efforts of the big man, a wisp of smoke appeared, and a trace of fire appeared.

At first, the fire was very weak, as if it would go out at any time, but under the care of the big man, the fire gradually grew stronger and began to burn brightly.

At this moment, a vision appeared above the nine heavens, and boundless merits gathered and descended from the sky.

The boundless merit descended, split into two parts, and most of them fell on the top of the big man's head and merged into the big man's body.

In an instant, both Yang An and the old man could feel that the big man's cultivation level began to rise steadily.

The other half of the merit fell on the wisp of fire that the big man drilled into the wood, transforming it into the fire of merit.

After a while, the boundless merit dissipated, and the aura on the big man's body gradually stabilized.

The big man opened his eyes and said loudly: "From now on, I am the Suiren clan!"

Although Yang An had known everything for a long time, he was still filled with emotion when he saw this scene with his own eyes.

This is the human race, full of creativity. He just gave a direction, and such an incredible scene appeared.

If humans don't have fire, then they can use wood to make fire, and let flames become a tool that humans can freely control.

"This? This? I understand, that's it!" the old man murmured to himself.

Nuwa kneaded earth to create a human being, and Heaven sent down boundless merits, allowing Nuwa to become a saint in one fell swoop.

At that time, he was thinking about what was so special about the human race that could actually enable Nuwa to attain enlightenment and become a saint.

Therefore, he personally came to the human race to find the reason why Nuwa became a saint. He was also looking for an opportunity for himself to become a saint.

Over the years, I have often talked with the human leader. He has made a lot of gains, but he is still far from the goal.

Now, seeing with his own eyes that Suiren drilled wood to make fire, and the infinite merits brought by heaven, he finally understood.

The next moment, the old man stepped forward and stood above the nine heavens, saying loudly:
"I am Taiqing Laozi, and today I establish the 'human religion' to educate the human race and learn from the way of heaven!"

As soon as the voice fell, the way of heaven felt it, descending boundless merits and merging into Lao Tzu's body.

"I am Lao Tzu, and I have been sanctified today! From today onwards, I am Taiqing Daodetianzun!"

In an instant, the heaven and earth shook together, purple air filled the sky, the rays of light were brilliant, and Qingyun appeared above my head. This was already the image of a saint.

Lao Tzu became a saint, and his holy power was immeasurable, shaking the entire prehistoric world and making countless living beings feel something.

At this time, among the human race, in front of the immeasurable holy power, all the races could no longer hold up, and all of them knelt on the ground.

After I attained enlightenment and became a saint, I turned to look at the human race and spoke again:
"I established a religion in the human race. Since I am the leader of the human race, I have the responsibility to educate the human race. Today I will preach for 300 years to repay the cause and effect!"
