Chapter 35 Crisis (please follow up)

Early morning hotel.

There were all kinds of messy clothes scattered on the carpet.

The sound of running water from the bathroom echoed through the room.

On a large bed, a pair of pink arms were covered under a light quilt. The girl on the bed was breathing evenly, and her long hair was wet with sweat and stuck to her cheeks.

The pretty little feet were curled up, as if they were heading to the clouds at some point last night.

Jeno walked out of the bathroom and immediately searched the carpet for the top he had left last night.

There was a knock on the door.

"Sir, the newspaper you subscribe to."

A stack of newspapers came through the crack of the door, and Geno picked it up.

On the front page of the newspaper, which exudes the scent of ink, are written a few lines of large characters: "The God of the World, Is He a Human?"Or God? 》

Geno glanced at the newspaper. His photo at the dock yesterday appeared on the front page.

In the photo, he is flying in the air with his arms outstretched, and the crowd below is echoing with him, like God and the world.

"It was a pretty good shot."

Geno chuckled, and the general content of the report was to question whether humans with superpowers need supervision.

The report was very interesting, and one line in it caught Jeno's attention.

"If one day superheroes are out of control, who will check and balance them?"

"Well, that's a good proposition." Geno held the newspaper and opened the window.

The cool air sweeps away odors in the house.

Geno glanced at the newspaper's publishing company.

"Daily Bugle?" Jeno raised an eyebrow. He didn't expect that the Daily Bugle would be active in Free America so early.

"Well, when Peggy wakes up, let her acquire this company."

Geno became interested and planned to grant Peggy a large amount of money to acquire some companies. These companies are very immature now, but over time they will gradually grow into behemoths, which are their predecessors.

Moreover, if you want to establish your own power, funds are also necessary.

No money?Who will follow you if you have no money?
Geno made up his mind to ask Peggy to acquire all the entertainment companies that would be well-known to future generations, and to establish a film company at the same time. The plan should be laid out as early as possible.

The noise downstairs attracted Geno's attention.

Geno sat on a chair and through his super vision, he saw many men in trench coats gathered downstairs, sneaking around nearby.

In front of the fire hydrant, behind the corner of the building, some were even sitting in cars.

Malicious thoughts reached Geno's mind.

"Philippine was lost, the battle failed and Geno Wilson was arrested."

"Damn, this guy is a god on earth. How are we going to catch him and shoot him with a gun?"

"Damn it, why hasn't the troop carrier come yet?"

All kinds of thoughts echoed in his mind, and Geno couldn't help but narrow his eyes.

Did Philippine Island fall?

"Jingle Bell."

The harsh sound of the phone interrupted Geno's meditation.

Geno picked up the phone and heard a familiar voice on the other end of the phone.

It was Colonel Phillips. He seemed to have heard the news somewhere and called Geno to inform him:

"Jeno, listen to me, I don't know when Philippine Island was lost, and now the military wants to arrest you for losing the battle!"

"These sons of bitches, even if you weren't even on Philippine Island at the time, they could still be messing around and trap you!"

"Anyway, listen to me. You go find a place to hide first. The president probably doesn't know the military's actions yet. I'll go find the president and make it clear."

"Before this happens, don't let them catch you!"

After that, Phillips hung up the phone, leaving only a "beep" sound.

Geno hung up the phone.

He had already predicted that the military would take action, but he did not expect this day to come so quickly. "But, running away?" Geno pinched his chin and chuckled: "Running away is not my style."

Geno walked over to the bed and pinched Peggy's nose.

"Well!"

The girl couldn't breathe, so she immediately opened her eyes and breathed through her small mouth.

Wiping off the white stain on her lips, Peggy stared at Geno in confusion:

"Huh? What's wrong, Jeno."

“Listen to me, the military is coming to arrest me later.

"

Geno informed Peggy of what was about to happen and helped her pick up her clothes.

"Damn it, how dare these people!" Peggy put on her clothes, her pretty face turned red with anger, she held Geno's arm tightly and looked at Geno with her big eyes.

The two looked at each other, and Peggy pursed her lips: "What can I do for you?"

Geno chuckled and leaned gently against Peggy's ear: "I have a shipload of gold bars on the Heidli ship. You go get a box and exchange it for American knives, and help me acquire some companies."

Hearing Geno's words, Peggy stamped her feet angrily. The girl frowned and said, "Is now the time to discuss acquisitions?! You are going to be arrested soon!"

"Do not worry."

Geno smiled and patted Peggy's butt, causing the woman to roll her eyes.

"I will be caught by them, but those guys don't dare to do anything to me."

Geno is very confident, because at this stage, the garbage in the military can't come up with any means to eliminate themselves.

The so-called arrest is a joke. If you don't want to, even if you call in a division, it will only take a few minutes to kill them all.

And, most importantly, Geno guessed that there must be some big move in Japan.

After all, if those serums can create the first batch of demons, then there will definitely be a second batch and a third batch.

So, when American soldiers take on those evil demons?

Geno could only say, wish yourself well.

The only thing to blame is that these old guys are indifferent to human affairs.

Hearing the sound of the jeep, Geno ordered Peggy: "Anyway, you are right to listen to me."

He pinched his female companion's face, then pushed her out the door, and threw his military uniform to Peggy: "Take this, let Victor and Logan do it for you."

Peggy hesitated in her heart, but still chose to believe Geno and hurriedly left with his military uniform.

Not long after Peggy left, the sound of heavy footsteps sounded on the stairs.

"Oh!"

The hotel door was violently kicked open, and a group of heavily armed soldiers pointed black guns at Jeno.

"Get down on the ground and don't move, or we'll shoot!"

Geno's eyes fell on the fingers of these soldiers, who were trembling with fear.

Obviously, facing this being who is known as the "God on Earth", they don't have much confidence in their hearts to be able to compete with Geno.

But to everyone's surprise, Geno just smiled and raised his hands to show that he meant no harm.

"You're here to catch me, right? Lead the way, I'll follow you."

Saying that, Geno patted the leader of the team kindly.

A group of soldiers stared with big eyes, obviously unable to believe that they had captured the "God on Earth" so easily?
Geno turned his head and stared at everyone: "Let's go, everyone, do you want me to go to the military court by myself?"

A group of soldiers led Geno downstairs in surprise.

Perhaps out of fear of angering Geno, the group did not put the so-called handcuffs on Geno.

As soon as he walked out of the building, Geno was drowned by the overwhelming sound of camera shutters. These were tabloid newspapers supported by the military, and they planned to use these materials to spread rumors about Geno in the dark.

In response, Geno just smiled and got on the military's off-road vehicle.

A group of heavily armed soldiers sat on either side of Geno.

As the car started to move, the accelerator was increased, and the car roared towards the Pentagon.
