Chapter 31: Triumphal Victory over Zhang Guo

Chapter 31 Returning home triumphantly (please read it later)

The telegram from the White House soon found its way into Geno's hands.

Squatting on the beach, Jeno stretched out his fingers and was wrestling with a crab.

"You want me to return to the country?" Geno browsed the telegram. When he saw the column that the military rank would not change, he couldn't help but sneer: "Those old guys in the Pentagon still like to suppress people."

"And the $[-] reward from the White House? What can we do?"

I own a warehouse of gold bars, so the $[-] is useless.

Peggy stood next to Geno. The cold girl looked at the crab wrestling with Geno and said in a helpless and comforting tone: "Jeno, you are only here this year, so don't worry."

She felt a little sorry for Geno's maturity and passion for power and wealth. He didn't act like a boy at all, but instead looked like a veteran who had been struggling in society for many years.

"No, no, no, these old guys think they can take advantage of me?"

Geno pushed the crab away with his index finger. The little crab seemed to think it had won, waving its claws and moving its legs sideways to leave in a show of force.

Jeno patted the gravel off his pants and walked side by side on the beach with Peggy.

Looking down at the beach, Geno was thinking about his next plan.

"These guys feel that I have been promoted too quickly and are a little worried."

However, Geno couldn't just let his achievements be ignored by the idiots in the Pentagon.

Peggy on the other side didn't take this matter to heart.

Peggy is quite happy about Geno and herself returning to China. After all, the sea journey is long, and with Geno's strength, the two of them can do more "interesting" things.

"By the way, where is Steve?"

Peggy suddenly thought of Steve, another super soldier who participated in the experiment with Geno. She heard that Steve had also joined Geno's team, but she didn't see anyone when she came over.

"He went looking for answers within himself."

Geno told Peggy what happened, causing his female companion to frown.

"These Japanese people are so abominable, they are simply not human beings. Jeno, you killed them well!"

Peggy hugged Geno's arm tightly.

Feeling the touch on his arm, he glanced at the reef not far away.

Geno's eyes suddenly lit up, he gently pulled Peggy and winked at his female companion.

Peggy, who has evolved into an experienced driver, has a cold expression on her pretty face, and she lightly opens her red lips to refuse.

However, her mind couldn't help but recall the scenes of the past few days. Somehow, when she came to her senses, she and Jeno were already behind the reef.

"Make sure there's no one around!" Peggy bit her red lips and warned Geno.

"Of course, there is no one." Geno looked around, but there was no one.

Peggy sighed, pressed her thighs wrapped in black socks, slowly squatted down, rolled her eyes and said, "I'm convinced."

into the night.

Geno carried unconscious Peggy back to the camp and settled in with his female companion. Geno found the two Logan brothers.

He put his arms around their necks and said in an incomprehensible tone, "Can I trust you?"

"Boss, what are you talking about? The two of us are extremely loyal to you!"

Victor patted his chest and promised that after following Jeno for so long, as long as he was not seeking death, he would be enjoying the good times and having fun every day. Where could he find such a good boss?

"Me, ahem, me too!" Logan quickly followed, "I am loyal to you, BOS."

"Very well, I have a task for you."

Geno was satisfied with the attitude of the two, and then pointed to the naval ship in the distance.

This warship is used to transport the Strategic Science Group and wounded soldiers back home. Geno plans to use this ship to transport gold back.

Geno patted the two of them on the shoulders:

"I removed the navy on the ship. You two go and carry those boxes to the ship, and then keep watch on them."

The two nodded quickly, and then took advantage of the darkness to move the box full of gold to the ship.

Geno was still relieved about Victor and Logan, and stretched himself back to the cabin to sleep.

A night of silence. The next day, Geno led everyone onto the ship returning to the United States and waved goodbye to the soldiers left on the island.

After several days of sailing, the battleship quickly arrived at the port.

During the Battle of Peleliu Island, many people had already known Jenowey's name through official propaganda.

The residents of Washington wanted to meet America's first superhero, and newspapers wanted to get first-hand information about the super soldier to increase newspaper sales.

Everyone gathers at the port with a purpose,
At this moment, the port was crowded with reporters and spectators. The Washington guards struggled to maintain the defense line, fearing that these people would collide with the big shots and lose their jobs.

On the battleship, Geno stood quietly on the top of the deck with his hands behind his back, looking down at the crowd.

"There are so many people, boss." Victor and Logan had never seen such a scene before. They hid behind Geno and did not dare to show their faces.

Geno was not nervous, he just looked at the crowd quietly, and he heard a lot of malice.

"If he can fly, is he still human?"

"Could it be an alien?"

"This is a freak! He's a monster! Why doesn't the government kill him!"

Such malicious thoughts poured into his ears, and Geno smiled indifferently, not caring at all.

Carter was woken up and walked out of the cabin with long legs.

A breeze stirred up in the port, ruffling Peggy's curly hair. She held her hair, walked to Jeno, looked at Jeno curiously, and asked with concern: "Are you nervous?"

Hearing Carter's words, Geno couldn't help but laugh. He chuckled a few times, then slowly shook his head, with an inexplicable luster in his eyes.

He gently stretched out his hand and clenched his fist: "Nervous? I'm not nervous!"

“To have everyone’s attention, cheers and support, this is what I long for!”

Geno suddenly took a step forward, and under the gaze of everyone, he slowly took off and flew towards the crowd.

Peggy leaned on the railing and stared at Geno's back in a daze. This man was fearless and confident. The more she looked at him, the more she fell in love with him.

now,

Geno was flying in the air, looking down at the crowd.

His super hearing allowed him to hear the crowd's exclamations and whispers.

Their eyes looked strange.

Respect, disgust, vigilance, countless emotions intertwined on Jeno.

Geno slowly opened his arms. He turned his back to the sun, and revealed a sunny and cheerful voice like a son of the sun, as if he wanted to take all these emotions into his arms.

Geno's tone was calm but loud, and he said loudly: "Dear residents of Washington! Hello, I am Geno Wilson!"

"Nice to meet you!"

The crowd was silent for a moment, and then a series of camera shots sounded, and all the photographers pressed their shutters frantically to capture the figure flying in mid-air.

The bold girl whistled in the hope of attracting Geno's attention. The disgusted man held up the wine bottle and wanted to throw it, but was quickly pushed down by the guards.

All this is like a picture of all sentient beings playing out in front of Geno.

Reporters rushed to hold the microphone and expected Geno to be interviewed.

Supporters cheered his name, while haters kept their children away with wary eyes.

The enthusiastic female fans expressed their affection, while the jealous men clenched their fists.

Geno looked at all this and murmured: "This is the passionate life I want!"

In the crowd, two young men were so excited that they were trembling all over.A young man shook his companion's arm crazily: "Jerry, did you see it! He is simply Superman!"

It was just like his fantasy, able to fly, magnificent and sunny, as if all the beauty in the world fell on Geno.

Another companion looked at Geno longingly and murmured: "Joe, we should create a comic based on him!"

"What should it be called?"

"What's his name?" Jerry looked at Geno's smile and said with a knowing smile, "Just call him 'Superman'!"
