Chapter 10, Small Town in the South

After Feng Huang finished explaining some things, Feng Yao's spiritual body left the small world of the ring.

The train traveling to Bo City is about to reach its destination.

"Dear passengers, please note that we are about to arrive at Bocheng Station. Please pack your belongings and prepare to get off."

Through the window, you can see the spectacular mountain peaks in the distance, as well as the buildings in the center of Bo City.

Although this is only a third- and fourth-tier city, the sparrow is small but has all the internal organs.

After getting off the bus, Feng Yao followed the high-rise buildings in the city center. There was only one iconic building in the entire city.

"Why don't you go to Bo City and take a trip to Xuefeng Mountain?"

"I heard there are demon wolves roaming there."

"What can a mere demon wolf do to me? I am now a first-level second-level mage!"

Feng Yao overheard the conversation between the two people, shook her head helplessly and left.

"Is this the Bo City you mentioned?" Fenghuang's voice came.

Feng Yao walked through the streets and alleys and heard Feng Huang's whisper.

"Bo City doesn't tend to create myths, so don't worry yet."

Feng Yao's footsteps stopped on the side of the alley. Looking at the few vehicles on the road, he quickly waved to the vehicles in the distance.

After a while, a car stopped in front of Feng Yao, but this car looked like a pickup truck used to pull goods.
Before Feng Yao could say anything, the driver stuck his head out and asked:
"Where are you going, young man? I'll take you there."

The driver was a middle-aged man with a vicissitudes of life on his face. He seemed to be driving a cargo truck just to make a living.

"Okay!" Feng Yao responded and got into the car.

"Young man, is this your first time in Bo City?" the middle-aged uncle asked.

"Uncle, how did you tell?" Feng Yao was a little surprised that he could tell at a glance that he was an outsider.

"It's usually difficult to get a taxi here. Fortunately, I passed by here today, otherwise you would have to contact others." The middle-aged driver said.

"Where are you going? I'll take you there."

Feng Yao thought for a while, he was unfamiliar with the place and he didn't know where to go.

"Uncle, what are you doing?" Feng Yao asked.

"I've just finished delivering the goods and am ready to go home." The middle-aged uncle said with a naive smile.

"Just put me near your home, and I'll save you the trouble." Feng Yao said.

"How can this work?"

He looked at Feng Yao and then stopped being reserved.

"Okay, I won't charge you any money."

Feng Yao observed the interior of the car. It was very plain, with a few shallow scratches on the windows.

The scenery outside the window, apart from the attic of the house, is the scenery of snow-capped mountains in the distance.

It is obviously summer now, but the mountains in the distance are still covered with white snow, which shows how high the altitude is.
"Ring, ring, ring!" the middle-aged uncle's phone rang.

"Hello? Who is it?"

"Mo Jiaxing, where are you now? I have a batch of goods that I need you to deliver." The volume on the phone was louder, and Feng Yao also heard the voice on the phone.

"Mo Jiaxing?!" Feng Yao was surprised inwardly and looked at the driver driving next to him with wide eyes.

"Aren't all my jobs finished? Why?"

"Old Mo, don't you need money recently? It just so happens that I can help you with more work." came the voice on the other end of the phone.

"Oh, okay." Mo Jiaxing hesitated and agreed.

After hanging up the phone, he looked at Feng Yao sitting in the passenger seat. "That... uncle?"

"Do you have a son named Mo Fan?" Feng Yao asked excitedly.

It was really hard to find anything, and I met the characters in the original work so quickly.

"Huh? Do you know my son?" Mo Jiaxing said.

"To be honest, the purpose of my coming to Bo City is to meet a netizen. He said his name is Mo Fan. I mentioned you accidentally when we were chatting." Feng Yao said, lying one after another.

"Internet friend? It's just for fun of you young people. I'll send you to find my son first." Mo Jiaxing said with a smile.

"it is good"

Soon Mo Jiaxing's car stopped in front of a bungalow, and the two got out of the car. Mo Jiaxing enthusiastically asked Feng Yao to come to his home as a guest.

Since his own son knows him, he doesn't treat him as an outsider.

"Mo Fan! Your netizen is here to see you, stop reading now." Mo Jiaxing shouted into the bedroom where the door was open.

As soon as he finished speaking, a young man with a very ordinary look walked out of the bedroom.

"Dad, are you back?" The young man looked at Feng Yao beside Mo Jiaxing in confusion and ignored him.

"Since you know me, I won't bother you. There's a truckload of goods waiting for me to pull."

Mo Jiaxing turned around and left, leaving only Mo Fan and Feng Yao in the room.
"Who are you? Why did my dad say we know each other? Do we know each other?" Mo Fan stared at Feng Yao and asked.

Feng Yao stretched out his right hand as a gesture of goodwill and said, "Hello, this is the first time we meet. I am Feng Yao."

"I don't know him, please go back." Mo Fan obviously didn't like him who suddenly appeared.

He also lied to his father to know him
"If you don't know me, why don't you get to know me." Feng Yao stepped forward to talk, but she didn't expect him to reject her so ruthlessly.

"Not interested." Mo Fan turned around and took a bottle of drink from the cabinet.

Then he sat on the sofa nearby and drank to himself.

Feng Yao looked around and saw that the room Mo Fan walked out of was filled with books.
"Are you preparing for the high school entrance examination?" Feng Yao said.

"Yeah." Mo Fan replied coolly.

Looking at the stranger in front of him, the two sides really had nothing to talk about.

Feng Yao also looked embarrassed. He meant to dare to go out on his own, but he was still shamelessly staying here.
"Do you have anything else to do?" Mo Fan asked, breaking the embarrassment.

Feng Yao was silent for a while, having already gone through the plot in his mind.
"Can you take me to the back hill of Lanshui Middle School?" Feng Yao said.

"Back Mountain? What are you doing there?" Mo Fan frowned and looked at Feng Yao when he heard about the back mountain of Blue Water Middle School.

"Me, my second grandfather is guarding the door there. I called my dad some time ago. My dad ignored his words because of work, so he asked me to come to visit him." Feng Yao explained intermittently by making up a lie.

Mo Fan's expression became more complicated upon hearing this, and after a while he showed a very sympathetic look.

"Do you want to win over the old man's relatives? But before he died, he told me that he had no relatives and no reason to bury him in the back mountain." Mo Fan murmured.

"That's wrong! Old man Ying's surname is Ying, but he just said his surname is Feng." Mo Fan fell into deep thought.

"Do you know where my second grandfather is?" Feng Yao's acting skills were perfect, and even his expressions were very vivid, and he was almost cast into it.
"Your grandfather's last name is Ying?" Mo Fan asked.

Feng Yao's eyes lit up and he looked at Mo Fan: "Do you know where he is?"

"He passed away a month ago, my condolences." Mo Fan said in a low voice.

"Did you die?" Feng Yao's eyes were slightly dull, as if he was about to cry without tears.

I thought to myself, it seems that this Mo Fan is the Mo Fan from another world.

But he really wanted to find out about this matter of winning the old man. As one of the major pitfalls in the original work, how could he not be curious?

There must be some secret behind Lanshui Middle School!
The secret is probably where Old Man Ying is buried.
