Chapter 19
Zhu Zhu endured the pain and walked to Han Shi's side, directly wrapped her right hand around his arm, and raised the umbrella high with her left hand; "We have an umbrella, so that no one of us can get wet. My legs hurt. I can walk faster holding your arm like this."

Hearing this, Han Shi glanced at the woman beside him. He didn't pull his arm out after all, and unconsciously slowed down.

Zhu Zhu felt that she had not encountered anything smooth since she escaped from the city. She was injured yesterday. Not only did her legs hurt, but her nose also hurt. Now she did not dare to breathe through her nose. Fortunately, compared with yesterday, Han Shi's speed slowed down a lot, so that she could not keep up. After the two walked for more than an hour, the rain stopped, and she gave Han Shi her umbrella.

"The rain has finally stopped. I'm really afraid that it will continue like this."

Han Shi put away his umbrella. In order to prevent her from holding his arm again, he speeded up and slowly left her behind. He didn't slow down until a village appeared in his sight.

Zhu Zhu endured the pain and hurried to Han Shi's side. She looked at the village in the distance; "Are we still running there like before?"

"No, just walk over slowly and try not to make any noise."

"Oh!" Zhu Zhu directly hugged his uninjured arm this time.

Han Shi lowered his head and their eyes met. He hurriedly turned around and led her towards the village. This time they passed through the village without incident. After these two days of getting along, Zhu Zhu discovered Han Shi's ability to survive in the wild. Very strong, he seems to know everything.

Zhu Zhu found messy footprints on the ground while walking through the village; "Look, there are footprints here. There should be someone in front of us."

Han Shi's face darkened as he looked at the footprints on the ground. What he guessed had happened, and the next journey might not be easy.

Zhu Zhu looked at Han Shi, whose face suddenly turned ugly, and felt anxious; "Isn't it a good thing to have footprints?"

In order to cope with what might happen next, Han Shi felt that he should give some advice to the women around him.

"We didn't find footprints when we passed through the village just now, but we found footprints here. Do you know what that means?"

"What?" Zhu Zhu looked at him and asked curiously.

"This shows that someone passed through this village before, and the people in the village covered up those footprints. If so many footprints are found here, it means that the people in the village left them when they were chasing those people. Whoever, don't watch or talk too much, don't respond to them asking for help, and of course don't take out your steamed buns."

Zhu Zhu looked at Han Shi who warned him seriously and nodded subconsciously.

The two walked forward again for about half an hour, and the footprints suddenly became less. Han Shi breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, things were not as bad as he imagined. Looking at the footprints on the ground, he felt for the first time. For once I felt that I was so lucky this time.

At noon, Zhu Zhu saw two figures, one large and one small, appearing in front of them from a distance; "Look, there is someone."

Han Shi looked at the figure in front of him and suddenly stood still; "Rest for a while, eat for a while before setting off."

Upon hearing this, Zhu Zhu let go of him and looked at the figure in front of her. She took out a hard steamed bun from her basket and started eating it. This time Han Shi still ate the black steamed bun. She tilted her head and looked at it. He asked curiously; "You have no more steamed buns?"

Han Shi glanced at her lightly: "Some of my little brothers haven't tasted steamed buns for two years, so what's left in the basket is for them."
