In the first plan, we first designed a humanoid structure. When simulating it in our mind, we found that the advantages of humanoid robots lie in their flexibility, collaboration, and visibility, but factors such as cost, reliability, and technology are too complex.

Because the center of gravity is too high, the control program is also relatively complex and requires high computing power of the CPU.

The second option is a wheeled robot. Its advantages are: fast speed, high efficiency, and low movement noise. Disadvantages: poor obstacle surmounting ability, poor terrain adaptability, low turning efficiency, or large turning radius.

It is suitable for both outdoor and urban environments, but the terrain should not be too complex, such as climbing stairs.

The third option is to choose a hexapod robot, which mainly simulates the movement of insects.The advantages are excellent maneuverability, stability, adaptability and strong load capacity.

The disadvantages are low energy utilization and technical complexity.

Since its technology is also complex, why did Li Guocheng choose a six-legged robot?

The reason is very simple. A microprocessor is embedded in each leg to independently control the movement of the entire leg, and then the central controller coordinates the movement of the six legs.

It is said to have 6 legs, but the design difficulty has become one leg, and the remaining 5 legs can be copied directly.
