Then he said to the Tathagata: "World Honored One, along the way, I saw that the people of Xiniu Hezhou do not know how high the sky is, how narrow the land is, how dense the people are, how much they are greedy, how much they kill, how much they are lustful, how much they lie, how much they deceive and how much they deceive. Although they pay homage to the Buddha, they do not do good deeds. Destiny, disrespect for the three lights, disrespect for the five grains; unloyalty, unfilial piety, unrighteousness, unbenevolence, hiding one's mind from oneself, fighting with big scales and small scales, killing lives and animals; and countless demons are at work. The Buddha does not do good things for wealth, and those who do not get wealth, The suffering in this world is like the clouds of the past.”

"My Buddha has allowed me to come and get the Tripitaka Sutra. Looking at it now, people in the west are yearning to live in my eastern land, so I can't take this Tripitaka Sutra."

"The disciple came not to take the Tripitaka Sutra from the mouth of the World-Honored One, but the Tripitaka Sutra that the disciple made in his previous life. He talked about heaven and earth to save ghosts. The former Buddha returned this sutra to the disciple, so that I can take it back to the people of the Tang Dynasty and see if it is It can save the suffering of the common people.”

Tathagata just nodded and assigned Anuo and Jiaye to lead the way.

After leading Sanzang to read the names of the scriptures, Anuo and Gaye began to make things difficult for Sanzang. After all, what Sanzang said just now was very harsh, and there were some unspoken rules for preaching scriptures. At this time Sanzang came over and told Wukong: "Take these two corpses and go to meet Tathagata."

The four masters and disciples came to the Main Hall again and saw the Tathagata. The first thing Sanzang said was: "World Honored One, this is too much."

Then he asked Wukong to drag the bodies of Anuo and Jiaye forward, and continued: "Look at these two, they actually demanded bribes in the Great Thunder Sound Temple. Is there any king's law? Is there any law?"

After saying that, he asked Wukong to drag the two corpses away, and ordered: "Chop them into meat and paste, and clean up the filth up and down the Lingshan Mountain. There are so many rats from Lingshan Mountain on the road, so don't encounter them again when you go back."

Then he said to the Tathagata: "World Honored One, those who ruin the reputation of my Buddhism will be sent to the endless hell and never be reincarnated forever. You don't have to worry about this matter. I am very familiar with Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in the underworld. I will let him Wukong will deal with it.”

In the Mahavira Hall, all the Buddhas were frightened by Tripitaka's words.

Therefore, there are swarms of rats; legend has it that in ancient times, this place was not a holy land for Buddhism, but the residence of the Demonic Ancestor. After the Demonic Ancestor was defeated, the Buddhists took this place as their own and built it with the secret books and treasures left by the Demonic Ancestor. The original demonic power The magic book, after revision and revision, became the current Buddhist scripture. The demon ancestor liked to raise poisonous insects, and thousands of poisonous insects produced a golden poison. Buddhism also kept this as a means. At the same time, it also intended for Buddhist disciples to practice the art of resisting poisonous poisons. , also known as the golden body..."

Sanzang did not continue to explain the rest. Wukong already understood the true meaning and deliberately teased: "Master, so to speak, you are still the best one I trained in the beginning."

Sanzang smiled and said, "That's true. My teacher is indeed the one best trained by the Buddha. Things will turn to the extreme. But I am not very obedient, so I have to be reincarnated. When will I be obedient, when will I come back? I once thought that in the face of great changes in the world, all my reincarnations would be in vain."

After counting the scriptures, we came to the Mahavira Hall again.

At this time, the hall was still silent, and Sanzang's one-man show continued: "World Honored One, I have been here to learn Buddhist scriptures for 14 years, and in a few days it will be Cangshu, so please resign and go back to your hometown, and finish Cangshu."

At this time Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva said: "Sanzang, you have traveled a hundred and eight thousand miles and encountered countless tribulations. I just counted them in detail, and found that there are eighty tribulations in total, which is still one tribulation short of the ninety-nine times when you will return to your true state."

Hearing this, Sanzang said, "My disciple knows where this difficulty lies."

The Bodhisattva nodded and said it was very good, so he arranged for the Eight Great Vajras to escort Sanzang back to the Tang Dynasty.

In the end, he fell into the water in the Tongtian River and tore the last page of the scripture while drying it.

It's just the old turtle in Tongtian River. Sanzang's comment after landing was: "Shanggu has a sharp eyesight. When will he shed his shell?"

As for Wukong, he just laughed, took Sanzang's arm and said: "Master, without the protection of immortals and the guidance of sages, such monsters in the river will just live here and carefree in this life. Think of me, grandson, and enjoy the innocence for three to five hundred years." , only then do you know the important matters of life and death; after ten years of traveling in the world, looking through the world, ten years of seeking truth and asking questions; the feeling of it is naturally indescribable. How can an old turtle like this, who is not familiar with worldly things, be allowed to shed his shell and transform into another? .”

Then, under the protection of the Eight Great Vajras, he returned to Chang'an.

It happened that Emperor Tang came to Wangjing Tower to receive Buddhist scriptures, so he and Emperor Tang returned to the trend.

In the court hall, Emperor Tang expressed condolences to Sanzang for his difficult journey, listened to Sanzang give a brief report, and finally introduced the three disciples.

The previous ones are all foreshadowing, and finally Sanzang presented the customs clearance document.

The Emperor of the Tang Dynasty laughed loudly when he saw the date on it. The customs clearance document was given on the third day of September in the 13th year of Zhenguan, which was now the 27th year of Zhenguan.
