Chapter 405 Black Hand

Bai Ye's mind was filled with various thoughts, and his eyes became deep and calm. In the stillness of the ruins, he seemed to weigh whether he should share everything he knew with Hank Pym. However, in the end, he shook his head and buried those doubts deep in his heart.

"Let's deal with the problem at hand first," Bai Ye said calmly, without revealing any more information. He knew that some things were not the time to discuss now, especially in this strange and dangerous ruins.

Pim stared at Bai Ye, as if he could sense the hesitation deep in his heart, but he didn't ask any more questions. He nodded and turned his attention to his surroundings.

"We need a new foothold. This ruins is not safe, and our presence may have been noticed by observers." Pim's voice was low.

Bai Ye nodded in agreement, knowing that staying in these ruins might cause more trouble. Under this strange city, they need to find a relatively hidden and safe place to better plan and investigate.

"I have a place," Pim suddenly said, with a hint of expectation in his eyes, "an underground laboratory, hidden quite deep. There are my previous research equipment and resources there, which should be enough for us to use for a while."

Bai Ye raised his eyebrows slightly, feeling a little curious about this proposal. "Underground laboratory? Have you always had a secret base in these ruins?" There was some surprise in his tone.

Pim nodded, "Exactly. At a moment like this, we need a place where we can move safely. Follow me and I will take you to that place."

Bai Ye and Hank Pym continued to move forward among the ruins, passing through broken stones and the remains of machinery. Under their feet, the ruined ground was dotted with robot fragments like a starry sky. In the silence of the night, the footsteps of the two seemed particularly clear.

"Have you ever dealt with this new super villain?" Bai Ye asked, his eyes flashing with alertness.

Hank Pym was silent for a moment, his brows frowning slightly. "We once had a fierce battle with her, but she escaped in the end. Her strength was extremely powerful, and she seemed to have some special ability that allowed her to quickly escape from the battlefield in times of crisis."

Bai Ye thought, his heart filled with curiosity about this unknown villain. In this ruined night, he felt a strange and dangerous atmosphere, as if there were more unknown threats hidden in this desolate place.

"We need to know more information about her." Bai Ye decided. "She could be a key factor in this ruin."

Hank Pym nodded and said in agreement: "Yes, we need to understand her identity, motivations and abilities. This will help us better face possible threats in the future."

The two of them gradually went deeper into the ruins, and the lights in the distance reflected on the collapsed buildings, adding a dim color.

Suddenly, a harsh mechanical roar came, and the two quickly turned around and saw a new Ultron robot army gathering in the distance. The robot's eyes flashed red, as if a cunning hunter was watching its prey.

"It seems that our electronic virus is no longer effective." Hank Pym frowned and nervously observed the robot's movements.

The two began to fight against the oncoming robot troops in tacit understanding. The clang of machinery and the clash of weapons echoed through the ruins, and the silence of the night was broken by the noise of battle. The figures of Bai Ye and Hank Pym shuttled between the ruins, their movements flexible and decisive. The robots roared and tried to surround the two, but the tacit cooperation of Bai Ye and Hank Pym allowed them to deal with the enemy with ease.

During the battle, fragments of the robot were scattered all over the ground again, but this time without the help of the electronic virus, the number of enemies was obviously greater.

After destroying this wave of enemies, the two continued to shuttle between the ruins, their footsteps accompanied by the rustling of gravel and the clanking of metal. In the darkness of the ruins, it looked increasingly desolate, as if it were the cemetery of an abandoned city.

Passing through bent metal skeletons and shattered buildings, Hank Pym led Bai Ye over a ruined wall to a hidden and safe corner. This corner was covered in a thick layer of dust and ashes, like a secret sealed deeply by time.

In the shadow of a pile of ruins, Pym gently removed a piece of hard debris, revealing a hidden entrance. This entrance is obviously cleverly disguised and difficult for ordinary people to detect. He patted the dust with his fingers and motioned for Bai Ye to follow him in.

The two quietly stepped into this secret corner and immediately felt an unusual tranquility. The door to the underground laboratory slowly closed, cutting off the desolate world outside. The lights gradually turned on, illuminating the passage ahead.

The corridor is lined with transparent glass walls, allowing a glimpse of the exterior of the ruins. Looking from here, the darkness in the ruins seems to be in sharp contrast with the brightness of the underground laboratory, like two completely different worlds.

The interior of the underground laboratory seemed orderly, with complex instruments and equipment neatly arranged, emitting a faint blue light. Various data flashed on the computer screen, showing that this place was once a highly technological research base.

"Welcome to my secret base," Pim pointed to the surroundings, with a hint of pride in his voice, "This is the place where I used to study, and it is also our current shelter."

Bai Ye looked around silently. He could feel that this place was once a research center full of technology and wisdom. The roar of machines and the hum of electronic instruments all interweave an unknown movement in this underground laboratory.

"The equipment here may be a little old, but it should be enough for our research and survival." Pim continued to guide Bai Ye deep into the depths of the laboratory.

They walked through the corridors, passing various laboratories and control rooms on the way. Each room seemed to record Pym's hard work. Charts and experimental results of scientific research achievements are hung on the walls, and the entire underground laboratory is filled with a heavy historical atmosphere.

Finally, Pim led Bai Ye to a spacious and technological room. In the center of the room is a tall computer host, surrounded by various experimental instruments and display screens.

"This is the control center. We can monitor the operation of the laboratory and analyze various data from here." Pim walked to the console and tapped his fingers lightly on the keyboard, and various real-time information was immediately displayed on the screen.
