Mystery: Outlander Gods of Bloodborne

Chapter 18 Gathering in the East District

Chapter 18 Gathering in the East District
"Liv? Is that the resident next door to Bill?" Jagel asked.

"Yes," Williams led him to the damp wooden door next to him, "Liv and her two daughters, Freya and Daisy, their family are laundry women. I heard that her two daughters also want to learn from Bill, go to get some diplomas and leave the East End."

"But just yesterday, Daisy, the youngest daughter of the family, got lost on the way back from delivering the clothes."

"I wonder if there is some kind of curse in this place, obviously the two of them managed to have a chance, but both of them ended up..."

Williams heaved a sigh.

This is really not quite right.

Staring at the two old doors that were almost the same, Jagel silently analyzed the information in the words.

First of all, both Daisy and Mrs. Rudolph have lived here for more than ten years, so they are familiar with the roads, and the probability of getting lost by themselves is close to zero. Not to mention that Mrs. Rudolph is an adult, even if she is really lost, she can find it by herself.

Secondly, Viscount Clint, the missing Lenzer, and the dead Bill Rudolph all have intersections with the East End.Especially Bill, who joined the Psychological Alchemy Association. He is a professor and has contacts with nobles. After his mother disappeared, he must have used his social resources to find it, but in the end he found nothing.

Combining these factors together, it is hard not to suspect that there is a huge force behind the Eastern District who is fishing in troubled waters and using kidnapping to achieve certain goals.

"May I ask about Daisy?" Yager looked up at Williams. "Both Daisy and Mrs. Rudolph disappeared nearby. Maybe there is some connection between them."

"I'm not particularly clear." Williams replied hesitantly, "Daisy is still young, only thirteen or fourteen years old. I heard that she and her sister were delivering clothes at the edge of the East District, and disappeared after passing through an alley."

"But don't ask Liv herself, she is very sad now, and she has never trusted outsiders."

Went with my sister.

Yager raised the possibility of kidnapping a little more, and by the way secretly lamented his identity as a foreigner who is not welcome no matter where he is.

Eh?Where were you unpopular before?

He rubbed his temples.

"The police won't look for it seriously." Next to him, Williams knocked on the water-corroded door of Liv's house, muttering in a low tone, "These policemen are like this. How can people with no power and power control those damn moths? Poor Liv and the others can only ask around by themselves."

"Bang bang bang."

"It's me, Williams."

The sound of hurried footsteps sounded behind the door. Listen carefully through the door with no soundproof function, and you can faintly hear the crying of the girl.

The door opened a crack.

"Williams? What are you doing here at night?" Liv, whose face was full of wrinkles, said through the crack of the door.

With her hair tied back and her household apron, she might have looked like a capable working girl, but now her usually shrewd eyes were lifeless.

"This is Mr. Durest from the Midtown Law Firm. He is investigating Bill. We want to use your balcony to go there." Williams leaned forward and replied.

"Come in." Liv glanced at Yagel warily and took two steps back.

Perhaps it was because Yager was dressed in a way that didn't fit in the East District, and it didn't seem necessary to threaten them, or maybe it was because Williams had a good reputation here, and Liv didn't stop them from rashly requesting to turn over the balcony late at night.

Yager followed Williams quickly through the cluttered living room.

When I walked through the bedroom, I could see a crying girl through the gap in the curtain.

"That's Freya, she was the one who went out with her sister yesterday." Standing on the balcony, Williams lowered his voice and said to Jagel.

However, Liv, who had been watching them covetously, immediately found the direction they were looking at, rushed up to block the sight of the two, and glared at them: "If you want to go, hurry up! Don't look left and right at my house!"

"Sorry, sorry." Williams hurriedly bowed and apologized, quickly stepped over the railing of the balcony, and jumped onto the balcony next door.

But this tough woman didn't want to stop, and then she turned around and yelled at the crying girl: "Why are you crying! Do you still want to go to school? Do your laundry!"

The girl's sobs stopped, and then she started to wash the clothes in the big basin in front of her.

"It's all my fault." Freya blamed herself in a weak voice.

She buried her hands in the bubbly basin, starching the bubbling mountain of clothes.

On the balcony, Jager was also urged to climb over the railing.

He keenly captured the key word, go to school.

Before coming here, he also did some homework, at least he knew that going to school was not something ordinary people in the East District could afford. Most Eastsiders, including minors, have to work every day to barely afford a living.

Those who can set aside money to send their children to school are good parents, like Liv, like Mrs. Rudolph.

Yagel sighed.

Before completely entering the next room, he turned on his spirit vision and looked back.

Liv's home is gray and devoid of any signs of the extraordinary.Without the intervention of extraordinary power, he would have no way of tracking the location of the Extraordinary, and he would also be unable to find anyone.

Unfortunately, he couldn't help find Daisy.

A few blocks away, Klein's figure also appeared in the East District.

He followed the thin young man Ian in front of him, and walked straight into the depths.

"I'm sorry to involve you in this matter," MI[-] spy Ian explained quickly to Klein while lowering the brim of his beret. "The Zigman Party heard about this matter and they are currently going to camp around your residence. I can only take you to the East District to hide for a while."

"Here's a safe house for us."

"Okay." Klein coughed and avoided the dirty puddle in the middle of the road.

The smog in the eastern district is too severe, and the environmental pollution caused by the industrial revolution is still immeasurable.

He sighed in his heart.

But it was the big boy Ian who surprised him the most.

Just now, Ian explained everything to him.

Ian was originally a child adopted by a MI[-] spy, and together with his adopter, served the kingdom's intelligence agency. Some time ago, they found a precious mechanic's manuscript, which played a vital role in technology construction.

Unfortunately, because of the possible double-faced agents around them, Intis also learned the news, and killed Ian's adoptive person in order to get the manuscript.

And Ian, and Klein, who took over Ian's commission, are currently being hunted down by Ambassador Intis.

"I have notified MI[-] of the location of the manuscript, and they will come to pick us up soon."

The logic seems a bit illogical?

Shouldn't MI[-] be the place to go to the manuscript?how come to meet them
"Wait a minute," Klein looked at the big boy in front of him in some astonishment, "You mean, the manuscript is with us?"

Ian, who was running with Klein, shook his head: "No."

Klein breathed a sigh of relief.

It's okay, it's okay, otherwise the possibility of them being intercepted by Bakerland in the Eastern District would be very high.

Yesterday, his divination results showed that there was danger in the last three days, so he hurried back to the Bar of the Brave, and hired Miss Sharon from the Rose Sect at a high price.

It's not as good as being assassinated in the East District today.

"The manuscript is in the safe house we're going to."

cough!
Klein didn't bring it up in one breath, choking in his throat.

The timeline has been slightly modified.
