Chapter 231 Poems, Holy Poems and Immortal Destinies Are Different

[The Anshi Rebellion was like a torrent, completely washing away the prosperous Chang'an.

Just like Yan Zhenqing risking his life in this torrent, the fate of other poets is also different.

Here is a brief list of Zhangyu UP.

The most unlucky person is undoubtedly the Seven Ultimate Master Wang Changling.

After the Anshi Rebellion broke out, Wang Changling returned home to visit relatives. When passing through Bozhou, he was arrested by the governor Lu Qiuxiao on the charge of "leaving his post without authorization" and killed the following year. He was 57 years old.

There are rumors that Lu Qiuxiao killed Wang Changling because he was jealous of Wang Changling's talent.

In the same year, Prime Minister Zhang Hao put down a rebellion and captured Lu Qiu Xiao when he was liberating the siege of Songzhou. He was sentenced to death for delaying the military plane.

Lu Qiu Xiao lives in the name of having relatives to support.

Zhang Hao replied and asked who would support Wang Changling's relatives? So Lu Qiu Xiao was executed to settle the grudge. 】

"This is murder due to personal grudges!"

Wei Zheng couldn't help but said:

"Even if you leave your post without permission, you will be exiled thousands of miles according to the law, and your crime will not lead to death."

Du Ruhui agreed:

"Even if he is punished, he must be escorted to the capital and handed over to Dali Temple."

"Or the guilty minister may be moved to the place where the crime occurred, and his subordinate governor will punish him."

Looking at Wang Changling's poems displayed on the light screen, everyone sighed.

"Magnificent and majestic."

Li Jing praised and was impressed by his literary talent:

"It is worthy of the name of a frontier poem, and it sounds like the sound of swords clashing when read."

"That's how it is to join the army!"

[The saddest one is undoubtedly the poet Du Fu.

Before the Anshi Rebellion, Du Fu's youngest son had just died of starvation. After the rebellion broke out, he took his family members to take refuge in Yanzhou.

I heard that after Suzong succeeded to the throne, he went north alone, but as mentioned before, he was arrested.

Before Guo Ziyi led his army to regain Chang'an, Du Fu escaped and was awarded an officialship. However, he was disliked by Suzong for rescuing Fang Guan.

Prime Minister Zhang Hao tried to protect Du Fu, but later the Tang army was defeated in the Battle of Yecheng, and the officialdom was completely corrupt. Du Fu was completely disappointed with the current situation, resigned and went south, and finally stabilized in Sichuan.

This period was the peak period of Du Fu's creation, and [-]% of the existing works were created during this period.

In the winter of 770, he died of illness on a boat from Tanzhou to Yueyang at the age of 59. 】

"Wandering With Melancholy, a century on stage alone and sick.

Difficulty and bitterness hate the frosty temples, and the down and out new stop the dirty wine glass. "

Liu Bei read it carefully and was a little fascinated for a moment.

Zhang Fei suddenly realized:
"No wonder Du Fu loves his military advisor so much."

"In these troubled times, all I could see were rebels and dog-fighters. But when I arrived in Chengdu, I found that people were worshiping the Military Advisor Ancestral Hall."

"Who wouldn't want to have someone who is like a military advisor, capable of taking orders from the defeated army to turn the tide in times of crisis?"

"What a pity. Even if you give this little Hunjun a real Zhuge, he will end up being despised."

Kong Ming was silent, looking at this poem called "Climbing High", the image of this friend in his mind became more and more full.

[The most fortunate one is undoubtedly the poet Wang Wei.

After the fall of Chang'an, Wang Wei was captured by the rebels and forced to serve them.

After Chang'an was recaptured, Wang Wei was convicted and sentenced to death. However, he was eventually forgiven due to his younger brother Wang Jin's plea and his complaints about being forced to play "Ningbi Pond".

Finally, after four years of depression, Qing was cut into a white body and released to the countryside, where he eventually died of illness.

Gao Shi can be said to be rising against the wind.

After failing to guard Tongguan with Ge Shuhan, he retreated to guard Chang'an. After hearing that Xuanzong had fled, he caught up with Xuanzong and was promoted to censor.

Later, he went to Suzong's place, paid homage to the Huainan Jiedu Envoy, and participated in quelling the Yongwang rebellion. Later, he made many achievements in quelling the rebellion, and was promoted to the Marquis of Bohai.

However, because he traveled with Li Bai and Du Fu in his early years and made each other famous, he later ignored Li Bai and Du Fu and was criticized by others. 】

"Serving the rebels is a breach of integrity." Wei Zheng's words were firm.

Fang Xuanling shook his head:
"Maybe there's something inside."

Light Screen's words were always concise, but since he said he was forced to do so, he probably had another hidden agenda that was not known to everyone.

Moreover, Fang Xuanling read Wang Wei’s poem "Ningbi Pond":
"Thousands of households are sad and smoke is growing wild. How will hundreds of officials turn their heads to the sky?"

"The intention of destroying the country still exists, it is difficult to say that his heart is a traitor."

Wei Zheng nodded slightly. He was not unreasonable, but he just felt that compared to the poet saint Du Fu who risked his life and ran away, the difference between Wang Wei and Wang Wei was a bit big.

"As for this high fitness..."

"Serve the country and fight the rebellion with merit."

As for Wei Zheng, it is hard to evaluate.

After all, they all came from troubled times and know what troubled times are like.

Especially when there are traitors and tyrants outside and the emperor is weak inside, it is even more difficult to become an official.

In such troubled times, maybe, who doesn’t have difficulties?

[The poet Li Bai is the most breathtaking.

This Qinglian layman seems to have put all his talents into poetry.

The result is that although he has zero political talent, he still wants to be an official and make achievements.

After the Anshi Rebellion, Li Bai also wrote poems lamenting the fall of Luoyang City.

But then he slapped his head and became the staff of King Yong Li Lin, which in Suzong's view was undoubtedly a rebellion.

In the end, Yelang was sentenced to three years of exile because of his talent. He eventually died of illness at the home of his uncle Li Yangbing. 】

Li Shimin felt speechless for a moment, and then remembered the "double hanging sun and moon illuminating the universe".

He still remembered that the light curtain was said to be written by the poet Li Bai for Xuanzong when he was exiled from Yelang.

Looking at it now... Li Shimin feels it is a pity:
Obviously his poetry talent is astonishing, so why should he not think about becoming an official?
Just like the two hanging sun and moon shining on the universe, who can be happy seeing it, Xuanzong or Suzong?
Changsun Wuji read out Li Bai's poem that was played on the light screen:
"The neon clothes are trailing the wide belt, fluttering up to the sky...Looking down the Luoyang River, Hu soldiers are walking in a blur. The blood is smeared with weeds, and the jackals are all covered with tassels."

"It is like a wandering immortal watching the Anshi Rebellion. The writing style is unique and the scenery is strange. No wonder he is called the Immortal of Poetry."

Changsun Wuji also shook his head, impressed by his talent but also helpless by his ambition.

But in the end, Li Shimin could only shake his head helplessly:
"After all, it is still a legacy of troubled times."

"If there were no troubled times, this poet would just be shut out and write poems in isolation."

"Rebellions are everywhere, and people like this are called rebels and almost die."

[890 years after the Anshi Rebellion, the Ming Dynasty fell.

Two years after the fall of the Ming Dynasty, Chen Zilong, who failed to resist the Qing Dynasty, threw himself into the water and died for his country.

Chen Zilong was a Jinshi in the tenth year of Chongzhen, and then became his mother Dingyou in the third year. Four years later, the Ming Dynasty fell.

Facing the Qing army entering Guan, Chen Zilong struggled to resist but was defeated. Later, when he was frustrated, he wrote a poem:
Ci Jia's new genus is Champion Hou, and Hu Yan is marching south to Sai Caoqiu.

I dreamed of being thirty thousand miles away from Chang'an, and the sea breeze blew off the western end of the moraine.

This poem was written by Chen Zilong in memory of the Han and Tang Dynasties. He longed for a figure like a champion to lead him to fight against the rebels and return to the prosperous age.

The saying that Chang'an is [-] miles away probably comes from the Tang Dynasty's allusion of "opening a distant gate and opening a gate thousands of miles away".

It is said that Erfeng erected a stone tablet at Kaiyuan Gate, saying:

Nine thousand nine hundred miles of Xiji Road
The inscription was written by Yu Shinan himself to comfort those traveling far away from the worries of traveling thousands of miles.

Some people doubt this statement because Yu Shinan died in the 12th year of Zhenguan, and the Erfeng destroyed Gaochang in the 14th year of Zhenguan.

After the destruction of Gaochang and the establishment of Anxi Prefecture, the journey from Chang'an to the Western Regions exceeded [-] miles. From this point of view, the time did not match up, so some people suspected that Erfeng was bragging at that time.

But it does not affect the final facts.

In short, since the prosperous Tang Dynasty, literati of all dynasties have regarded Chang'an as their ideal of a prosperous age.

So in the next issue, let’s look back and see how this giant Tang Dynasty, which was defeated by Xuanzong, was established? 】

I went out to eat, so I only had 2K...
