Chapter 37 Distress in the Mountains
Wen Qizhou: "Then I will tie a cushion on the back seat tomorrow." He paused for two seconds: "Do you want me to rub it for you?"

"No need." She didn't feel the pain yet.

Chi Yue handed him one of the cups of milk tea, and leaned on his shoulder to look at the interior of the RV.

On the left side of the sofa of the formula table they are sitting on is a refrigerator and a baking all-in-one machine. There are six horizontal storage compartments above the all-in-one machine, and a cooking table under the last one.

The area behind the cooking table is a double bed about 1.8 meters wide and a washroom.

She chewed the bobo in the milk tea, and her eyes fell on the sofa: "Qizhou, can this sofa be made into a bed?"

"Well, there is also a bed above your head." The position above her head connected to the driving area is a forehead bed, and the space is not small.

Chi Yue got up and took a look.

Estimated that the forehead bed could accommodate four or five people, she teased Qi Zhou: "I'll put a few dolls on it later, if you make me angry in the future, you can hug them to sleep."

"..." Wen Qizhou put his arms around her waist and hugged her into his arms with a little force: "I don't think that day will come."

"What if?"

"Not in case."

They have known each other for so many years, and the conflicts they have caused are full of unclear and ambiguous.

When did she really get angry?

"But I still want to make two beds." She deliberately paused, but before she finished speaking, her lips covered her.

Breath is robbed.

She sank into his warm embrace, as if feeling suffocated for a moment, that hoarse voice came to her ears.

"Are there still two beds?"

"...I want to sleep instead." The unfinished words finally spilled out of his lips.

She glared at him: "Can't you?"

"Okay." As long as she doesn't sleep in separate beds, Wen Qizhou can do anything with her: "I'll make the bed."

He made two beds one by one, and put a few of her favorite dolls beside the pillows, adding a touch of warmth.

Seeing that the afterglow of the setting sun had dissipated, he closed the car window, lowered the curtain, and played the unfinished suspense drama.

The sound of the lines accompanied by the smell of food lingers around, and they are in the RV, living a world of two in the end times full of turmoil and many uncertainties.

The light that was on did not go out until the early hours of the morning.

They slept until eight o'clock and woke up. After breakfast, they put away their mobile "home" and continued to ride along the highway.

After walking around like this for two or three days, the temperature suddenly dropped to ten degrees, and the wind blowing in all directions was wrapped in a chill.

And they were once again blocked by mountains.

The tunnel below the mountain was blocked by huge boulders from vehicles, and they had no choice but to climb up the mountain road.

"Click" came a thin sound.

They followed the sound and took two steps towards the corner, and a naive black and white dumpling came into view.

It sat under the green bamboo and broke the bamboo. When it heard the footsteps, it shook its round ears twice, raised its chubby face to look at them, and stuffed the bamboo into its mouth again.

"Good boy." Chi Yue was so cute.

She likes pandas very much, but she also remembers its nickname of iron-eating beast, and dare not approach it rashly.

It's just that they have to pass by it, and they need to consider the possibility of being attacked: "Qizhou, you said I threw a few apples in the past, can you divert its attention?"

"It should be possible." Wen Qizhou pulled her to his right hand, and proposed that he throw it: "Give me some more carrots."

Chi Yue stuffed him with a bunch of fruits and vegetables.

He tried to throw an apple next to the panda, and saw that it stopped biting the bamboo, picked up the apple with its claws, put it on the tip of its nose and sniffed it, and then threw two more far away.

The panda twisted its buttocks to pick it up, and Wen Qizhou helped Chi Yue walk forward slowly, for fear of disturbing it accidentally.

Walking to the place where it was sitting just now, it suddenly turned its head, and its eyes wrapped in "black eye circles" blinked twice.

Wen Qizhou couldn't figure out what it meant, so he put all the apples and carrots on the green bamboo pile with light movements.

Now, it doesn't pay attention to them anymore.

They took this opportunity to walk up the mountain. Chi Yue glanced at it through the gap between the green bamboos, and happened to catch a glimpse of the short tail wagging, and said with a smile: "It's wagging its tail."

Wen Qizhou also turned his head to look at it.

Even if it is dirty, its every move is cute, and it can easily be loved by people.

His eyes stayed on the short tail, and there was a slight smile in his voice: "It seems that those fruits and vegetables are very suitable for it."

"I think so too." Chi Yue chatted with him about the cuteness he saw at the zoo in the past, and his affection showed on his face.

But when he heard the word "zoo", he suddenly stopped, and said with a serious expression: "There may be other animals on the mountain, let's go faster, don't stay too long."

It was not yet noon, and at their pace they should have no problem descending before sunset.

Chi Yue responded seriously: "Okay."

She kept up with Wen Qizhou's pace, and while vigilantly paying attention to her surroundings, she did not forget to find the way down the mountain with him.

The two of them walked for about forty minutes, when a high-pitched wolf howl suddenly came from the grass not far away.

"Aww-"

Chi Yue was so nervous that she pursed her lips.

She had witnessed the ferocity of wolves before, and even in her new life, she would be much more afraid of wolves than crocodiles.

Capturing her leaked emotions, Wen Qizhou led her around and took out the pistol in his pocket with the other hand.

"Don't be afraid." He stared at the grass, tried to stabilize his mind, and rationally thought about how to get out of the trap surrounded by wolves.

The second they moved, two strong wolves came out of the grass, their gray eyes locked on them.

The eyes seemed to be looking at a plate of Chinese food, full of greed and ferocity, just looking at each other can make people's hair stand on end.

The wolf with dark brown fur on the left raised its front paws and pawed twice on the ground, and ran towards them with its back arched.

Another horse followed closely behind.

Wen Qizhou raised his gun to aim at the brown wolf who was the first to close the distance. Chi Yue, who was protected by him, also suppressed the fear in his heart, and fired three shots at the wolf behind him.

The sound of gunfire was very clear in the quiet forest.

The two wolves that had been hit on their front paws and eyes let out horrifying howling and panting sounds.

Seeing them fall to the ground, Chi Yue still didn't relax, clutching the pistol tightly: "There may be wolves behind."

Wen Qizhou took her away without any delay.

He found a way down the mountain and told Chi Yue to walk in front, while he turned around from time to time to observe the situation behind him.

Listening to the howling of the injured wolf, which seemed to be calling for the pack of wolves, their pace became faster and faster.

After finally walking down the mountain, Chi Yue, with a thin layer of sweat on her forehead, turned her head and saw black and brown figures shuttling through the forest, chasing them down along their route.

She looked around and saw that the obstacles in front of her were significantly reduced, so she quickly took out the modified off-road vehicle.

"Qizhou, get in the car!"
