From April 2023 to now, more than eight months have passed, and the book has finally been completed.

First of all, I would like to thank all readers for your strong support of Xiao Xiao all the way! thank you all! This book wouldn't exist without you all!

Secondly, I would like to thank my editor Liu Xingda. He is a very good person and has given me a lot of help along the way. I am very grateful.

It shouldn't be too sudden. The previous month-end speech was a breath of fresh air in advance. What I wanted to say was almost what I said before.

What follows is basically a summary of this book.

This is Xiao Xiao’s first time writing about game production, because I haven’t read many such books before. Writing this subject is mainly because I am a bad game player myself and know a lot about this aspect.

When I didn’t understand anything, I rushed straight away.

Because the internal submission of several previous themes failed, I spent a lot of time researching some scripts.

For example, there must be a system, for example, there must be some conflicts and dilemmas in the early stage, and there must be a gimmick that can attract attention, etc.

Newcomers really can’t get ahead without this.

Therefore, the idea of making a mirror at the beginning came to mind.

I still remember the first title of this book was "The Almighty Game Producer Starting from the Magic Mirror".

But it was later rejected by the editor. After I studied the books of two predecessors, "Very Simple" and "Titanfall".

I found that these big guys all have their own core jokes. One is that Mr. Pei loses money, and the other is "very simple".

Then there was the title "I've Really Arrived".

After all, my initial plan for my book was to be a mindless and enjoyable novel. I even asked a good brother who writes about entertainment for advice.

He said that you just need to copy the game without thinking, shock the trailer, play the game on release, summarize it, be shocked, and then add your brainless loop of "I have really made it to the shore".

I didn’t have high expectations at the beginning, thinking that if I could get a 500 average, I would work perfectly until death, which would completely destroy my starting point.

Then, my creation started:

A protagonist who was sent to a parallel world by a dump truck, plus a little brainless villain, plus a system that has no sense of existence purely for the sake of finishing the draft, plus a mirror.

I personally am the kind of writer who relies on inspiration. This book has no inspiration at all from beginning to end. I write whatever comes to my mind. At most, I have a list of games. The plot is completely designed based on the characteristics of the game itself.

For a game as sensitive as Mirror, when I look back and play the first chapter of Dark Elf, you say pure love doesn’t sound like pure love, and the tauren don’t sound like tauren either.

I just happened to see the thing about Ace Bar before, and I was instantly inspired, and I started writing it very smoothly.

After that, due to the pressure from the villain Tianxing, it was successfully deduced that he could not get ahead in the domestic gaming circle and had to go out first before being introduced.

The collision between Ori and the Legend of Demon Realm, you thought I copied you, but you copied me!

At that time, writing a book was really fun and smooth, and I also enjoyed reading it.

Several good brothers who also write online articles all say that you are really good at writing early rhythm.

That is to say, under such circumstances, because of everyone's support, the results of this book are surprisingly good.

I remember that at that time, the game division had two books: "Astartes" and "Necromancer".

But these are all big guys, so I can’t compare to them. I’m a very capable person, and perfect attendance at 500 is my biggest goal.

The turning point lies in the treatment of Ma's father and son. Wasn't it a victory at that time? Considering the issue of rationality, the protagonist seemed to let it go too lightly.

The final explosion was not satisfying enough, but I really don’t know how to get out of it.

This is not a fantasy novel about physical destruction, this is an urban game production article.

Bankruptcy? Sweep out?

Just blur it directly.

Another thing is that the setting of the game itself is not well done.

Mature authors should let the system occupy more words and integrate the system into the plot more smoothly.

In addition, in addition to the main line of game production, there should at least be the main line of life.

There needs to be a clear upgrade route so that such a book can be written in the long run.

I didn't do any of this well, I just ran all the way on the game production route, although I also designed things such as "Nursing Plan" and "Offline Activities".

But it is just the product of a flash of inspiration and cannot support a long novel.

After almost 700,000 words, I felt very bored.

It's all a routine, repeated over and over again, which is why there are no Riwan in the future.

I can't move at all. My mind is like a ball of mush all day long. What I write has no passion and is like a corpse.

It’s just that the editor repeatedly told me at the time that it should be at least one million words, right?

"It's normal to go high and low. Writing online articles won't work without persistence. There are many eunuchs among inspirational authors. Do you want to be a dead eunuch too?"

What Mr. Liu Xing said makes sense. When inspiration strikes later, he will write something passionate.

But to be honest, from my personal experience, it is more interesting to go to great lengths to promote this kind of plot before you become famous.

It would be more interesting to write about the battles with peers before you became famous.

I am still a somewhat ambitious person. Although it is a copy-type game production article, I also want to write more of my own things for everyone to see.

After all, no matter how exciting the game content is written about, it’s not as good as the readers playing it themselves, right?

Damn it, just think that I am overestimating my abilities.

In fact, the current situation is no different from that of Eunuch. It's just that the game production text is special. It doesn't seem too abrupt that it can end after a certain game.

After rambling so much, I can think of it as revealing my heart for everyone to see.

I'm just sorry that everyone didn't have a perfect ending.

That's it, the journey to the world is long and the future is long.

I hope that in the future, I can contribute more excellent plots to all readers.

晚安~(留于2024年1月11日2点51分)(本章完)
