Chapter 86
Today is the No.30 release of the book "The General Constitution of the Ming Dynasty"... It's been a few days, and it's time to put it on the shelves.

Now there are a total of five leaders in this book.

The author is really flattered. After the previous reward, he didn’t add more and relied on his thick skin to fool him. The main reason is that he ate it for the first time at the starting point after a round of serious recommendations.

I really don't know how to arrange the update, but fortunately, I understand a little more after it was put on the shelf. I won't talk too much nonsense. Let's wait a while. I asked the editor and said that the status was changed at [-] o'clock. In fact, I thought it was put on the shelf this morning. In short, the first ten are more respectful, and they will be released all at once later.

From now on, every day, there will be three updates at the end of the day, and as much as you can write and send, after all, there will be no end to this information. If the speed is too fast, it can't be guaranteed, but there will definitely be more.

In fact, I really want to say a few words to the judges. I thought about building a group, but I just thought of building a group with this theme. I was bombarded twice in three days. I didn’t want to say anything. In the end, it was the same as if I didn’t, so I struggled for a long time, and finally Not built.

I asked the editor to follow up before, which is already unexpected.

First of all, I would like to thank all the judges for their support. Even if there was a small accident in the plot a few days ago, the text has been changed, and some judges are very upset. I apologize again.

Back to our book.

When I first opened the book, I actually felt that this subject matter was not easy to write, but I only realized it after I wrote it.

It's really not easy to write.

Because the other articles are cool articles, innate hardware like Zhu Houzhao looks very cool.

But if you take a closer look at the group of people in the mid-Jiajing period, from the emperor to the ministers, they are actually a little sickly deformed, and everyone is struggling to live.

The old Taoist holds the power of the world and controls the ministers with skills. It looks very cool. In fact, he carefully unfolds every node event. This character is also a bit forced by life.

An emperor who lost his father at a young age, like his hapless cousin, is an only son vassal king. To put it bluntly, people thought he was easy to bully and let him succeed him.

After that, there was a great ceremony, and the Jiajing New Deal, which died in the middle way. It is undeniable that Jiajing really wanted to do something when he was young. Of course, it is also possible that the mess left by his uncle is really disgusting. If he didn't make progress in 20 years, he might be his son who was hanged on Meishan Mountain.

Pursuing power ministers, confiscating Annan, clearing up acres of land, and even cutting down vassals.

The emperor who cut off the most vassal kings in the Ming Dynasty was neither Zhu Yunqi nor Zhu Di, but Jiajing. After all, the county king is also a king.

In the eighth year of Jiajing, the cabinet negotiated the "Regulations on the Clan" and began to control the salary of the clan. Prince Guang abolished four successively, and then successively abolished several county kings.

The old Taoist priest's control over the entire empire reached its peak at the moment Zhu Zaishun was born, but after the peak it often went downhill.

Many people regard the year of Renyin as the turning point of the Jiajing Dynasty.

But my point of view is that the real turning point of the Jiajing Dynasty was the 28th year of Jiajing and the 29th year of Jiajing.

Because the old Taoist priests 28 years ago in Jiajing still wanted to do things, Hetao should discuss it, and give money if they ask for it. The degree to which Xiaozong was so bewildered was at most that there were unofficial rumors that he raised a colorful bastard.

After Zhu Zaiyu died in the East Palace inexplicably, the old Taoist priest who had experienced the loss of his son in his later years began to become sick. The nearly 20-year old Taoist priest is more like a stubborn species who is unwilling to admit that his reform has failed. Everyone knows what it looked like in the past, and the story behind it.

As for people like Xu Jie, Yan Song, and even Xie Qian.

Are they cool?
The answer is also no, Xu Jie has studied Sima Yi all his life, and Yan Song is not in his old age.

As for Xie Qian.

The stories in the book may not be true, but it is true that Wang Zhi almost killed the Xie family.

Looking through the history books, perhaps the historical figure who had the best life during Jiajing's reign might actually be Hai Rui.

Zhang Tingyu said in "History of the Ming Dynasty" that "Ming Dynasty died in Wanli." In fact, in the past, I always felt that Wanli's blame was a bit too big, because I always felt that Jiajing seemed to be doing nothing.

It was only with the understanding of history that I realized that this sentence may be true.

Because Jiajing's pot was not in the Ming Dynasty, or in other words, as a feudal emperor, the old Taoist priest has done quite well, because it is not the Ming Dynasty that has changed, but the whole world.

In the Ming Dynasty, the old Taoist priests had no pots.

However, Jiajing was part of East Asia's farming civilization and the industrial age.

Shizong's fault is not in Zhu's family, but in Sheji.

When the Portuguese appeared in the offshore of Guangdong, it meant that the world was about to change. The former "Zi Zhi Tong Jian", the former classics of sages, was about to become invalid.

However, Jiajing, as the supreme ruler, did not realize all this and made a major strategic misjudgment. Still under the idea of path dependence, he sought the answers to all questions from ancient and modern sage kings.

Perhaps 29 years after Jiajing, Jiajing has realized that he has lost.

But it's too late.

Everything that happened after that may still be able to find similar things in the history books, but it will never be as simple as before.

This is the Jiajing Dynasty.

A dynasty that coexisted with the vigorous era of great exploration.

It is absolutely impossible to avoid the influence of the Age of Discovery.

When I was a child, I watched the TVB version of "Journey to the West". One of the units that impressed me most was the version of the Golden Pond Saint Monk. Because he hated Guanyin and didn't choose him as a sutra learner, he thought badly about the Jinlan cassock.

In East Asia in the industrial age, it is very similar to the golden pond monk who was abandoned by Guanyin Bodhisattva.

And if it is said that history once had a test for Daming, the golden pond monk.

It should be from the 15th year of Jiajing to the 29th year of Jiajing, which almost completely coincides with the 14 years of Zhu Zaishun's life.

As the holy monk of Jinchi, the Ming Empire and East Asia have almost gathered all the necessary and insufficient conditions, but they are still abandoned by Guanyin.

Some people say that it is because the feudal imperial power is too strong, and some people say that it is the intensive farming of small-scale peasant economy.

I think these answers are all right.

But they are all too big, so big that people don't know why.

The problems of the Ming Dynasty cannot be solved by a traveler inventing a steam engine and planting two yam plants.

So, this is a story of a golden pond sage becoming a Buddhist scripture learner.

Compared with the original Journey to the West, the scriptures are still the same scriptures, but the people who learn the scriptures are different, and the place of departure is different.

The use of the term "infancy" of capitalism can be said to be ingenious.

It has seen its shape but not its potential.

Why?

Still haven't seen the light.

Therefore, it is for germination.

We need a more intuitive answer, so that we can truly feel the problems that existed in the Ming Dynasty and even the entire East Asia at that time.

And I firmly believe that this answer is by no means inherently inferior, and it is definitely not caused by someone making a few machines that look extremely rough now, or even a wealthy idler being hit on the head by an apple from a tree.

Because what decides the direction of history and creates a new history, before, now, and in the future, it has always been the thousands of hardworking people instead of them.

The greatness of a great invention never lies in who created it, but that thousands of ordinary people are willing to exchange their insufficient material resources for it, thus endowing "greatness" with life.

"Journey to the West" has never been great because of Wu Chengen. The reason why "Journey to the West" is great is that since the Tang Dynasty, thousands of years ago, the ancestors of the past dynasties began to be curious about the Western Regions, and the story began to sublimate in the Ming Dynasty. The focus of the story Back to Dongtu's own problems.

The evolution process of the story of "Journey to the West" itself is a story of the ancestors of the past dynasties going out to the west to learn Buddhist scriptures and then returning to the east.

In the same way, it is not me who created the book "General Constitution of Ming Dynasty".

Our ancestors created this history in a historical period called Jiajing Dynasty.

And now, the judges who are thinking about what this history has brought to this land have a demand, so that I can have the opportunity to gather these historical fragments into a story to deduce another possibility of history.

The interests of readers and the stories of their ancestors are the core elements of a historical text, and I am actually the least important part.

In essence, this is a book co-authored by people of our two eras spanning nearly 500 years of time and space.

Perhaps this is the charm of historical texts.

I wish you gentlemen, smooth sailing, and ride the waves in the wind and waves.

Including, but not limited to, the time this book was written.
