Chapter 2 Leaving the country and forgetting, the Tao follows nature

Soon, Lin Yuan appeared in a mysterious space, and a huge golden paper appeared in front of him, hanging like a screen, with mysterious divine patterns flowing on it, interweaving lines of text.

【Post-Wandering Ancient Era】

[The suppression of Emperor Wushi's imperial way has just dissipated, but the environment of the Big Dipper Star has not improved, but has become more and more cruel. 】

[In this world, you were born in the Star of the Big Dipper, in the Eastern Desolation and Southern Territory. Since childhood, you were accepted as a disciple by the master of the Sitting and Forgetful Temple, named Zhang Zhixuan, and inherited the Taoist classics in the temple. 】

[At the age of 20, you have grown from an ordinary mortal to a young monk at the peak of the Dao Palace. 】

【Your cultivation base and age have reached the requirements for joining the WTO. On this day, the Master of Siwang Temple will call you to him and ask you about your next plan:】

【1. Born to practice and travel around】

【2. Stay in the meditation and understand Taoism】

【3. Possession of consciousness, self-determination】

This kind of simulated avatar projection does not require Lin Yuan to really spend 20 years and re-experience the life of "Zhang Zhixuan", but rather like...
"Life reopens the simulator?"

Lin Yuan stared at the text presented on the gold paper, feeling a little moved in his heart. The so-called avatar projection is actually a text simulation game in essence!
Of course, he knows that this is not comparable to the simple text simulation of the previous life.

When Lin Yuan's consciousness touches these words, the experience corresponding to these words will appear in his mind, and he will be personally on the scene, as if he has personally descended into that period of history and experienced everything experienced by the incarnation.

After thinking for a moment, he made his choice.

【Consciousness possessed, self-determination】

Compared with the previous two methods that are equivalent to trusteeship, consciousness possession is obviously manually operated by Lin Yuan himself, intervening in the development of "Zhang Zhixuan" and making detailed adjustments.

Lin Yuan is very unfamiliar with this era that is not mentioned in the original book. If he rashly leaves the world to practice, in this overshadowed world where everyone is brainless, there is no guarantee that he will get into a lot of trouble at any time and waste his time. Difficult number of simulations.

As for staying in the temple and comprehending the few classics in the sitting and forgetting temple, this is tantamount to building a car behind closed doors, and it is not beneficial to Lin Yuan's future development.

On the whole, only the choice of conscious possession is the most suitable for Lin Yuan's mind, and he can also take this opportunity to integrate the cultivation experience of the incarnation.

After Lin Yuan made a choice, his consciousness felt in a trance for a while, and his mind wandered into the sky, as if he had crossed the long river of time and came to this era...

This is a mountain peak that is neither high nor short, with fresh air rushing towards you, accompanied by the fragrance of soil, flowers and plants, filled with natural atmosphere, full of vigor and vitality.

On the top of the mountain, there are towering and fragile ancient trees, with old vines winding around them like horned dragons, and there are also jagged and strange stones standing upright.

Not far away, there is an antique Taoist temple, which is called Zuowang, which means forgetting things and me, and uniting with Tao.

"Among the Tao, there is nothing in silence, and nothing can be used by God"

In front of the statue of Tianzun enshrined in Guannei, there is a handsome young Taoist priest sitting cross-legged on a futon, reciting Taoist scriptures in his mouth.

This young Taoist priest is naturally the incarnation of Lin Yuan, Zhang Zhixuan.

On that day, Zhang Zhixuan had a long talk with the master of Zuo Wang Guan, and stated that he had no plans to practice in the world for the time being, and wanted to polish his secret realm of the Taoist palace.

In this regard, the master of Zao Wang Guan naturally did not object, and Zhang Zhixuan naturally stayed in Zao Wang Guan.

The current era follows closely after the Great Emperor Wushi.

Who is the peak at the end of the immortal road, the beginningless Dao becomes empty at first sight.

Emperor Wushi can definitely be regarded as one of the most powerful human emperors of all time.

However, his appearance seems to have exhausted the luck of the nine heavens and ten places. Even though the suppression of the Dao has dissipated, the Big Dipper will inevitably enter the era of Dao Difficulty.

A monk like Zhang Zhixuan who can reach the peak of the Taoist Palace at the age of 20 and step into the secret realm of the four poles with one foot can also be called a young arrogance, and the future can be expected.

After Lin Yuan's consciousness possessed him, he sat cross-legged in front of the statue of Tianzun, digested all the memories and insights of the past 20 years, and began to try to get off the phone and practice manually.

"At the beginning of learning the Tao, you have to sit still, withdraw your mind and leave the environment, live in nothing, don't hold on to anything, and enter nothingness by yourself, the heart is in harmony with the Tao."

Waves of chanting sounds came from the Five Great Dao Palace in his body, exuding a mysterious charm of the Great Dao, which made his mind slowly calm down.

This is an ancient scripture passed down from generation to generation in Guannei. It is called the Zuo Wang Sutra, and it was obtained by chance by the founder of the Zao Wang Guan Kai School.

Afterwards, he used this to gain some fame in the land of the Eastern Desolation. In his later years, he created the Sitting and Wangguan here, and passed down this scripture.

The Sutra of Zuo Wang includes the profound methods of practice in the five great secret realms, and its subtlety is not inferior to the Taoist scriptures that Zhang Zhixuan recited before. Similarly, this is also his major scripture.

Although he has already digested his memory, Lin Yuan is still like a beginner. He is not in a hurry to practice the mysterious method contained in the Sutra of Zuowangjing, but follows the gods in the Taoist palace, silently recites the scriptures in his heart, and understands them the scriptures.

At the beginning of learning the Tao, the most important thing is to learn to sit quietly, take back complicated thoughts, and break away from the secular environment, that is, leave the country.

Let the mind be in a state of nothingness and tranquility, without being mixed with anything, to achieve the state of forgetting both things and me, that is, sitting and forgetting.

Leaving the country to sit and forget, the heart will naturally connect with the Dao, and open up a path for the Dao, this is the cultivation of the Dao.

The heart lives peacefully in the Dao, and merges with it to become one, which is the return to the root; sticking to this root and never being moved by external objects, this is tranquility.

By calming down and cultivating the mind, one can naturally understand the Dao, understand all the truths, and gain a clear understanding of the Dao, which will naturally rejuvenate vitality, escape the cycle of life and death, and achieve long-term vision for a long time.

Leaving the country to sit and forget, the way is natural, this is the essence of sitting and forgetting the scriptures.

At a certain moment, Lin Yuan turned on the Xuanfa of sitting and forgetting, and started to practice from the beginning.

Immediately, all kinds of visions appeared in front of his eyes, such as majestic rays of light, thousands of auspicious colors, divine springs gushing from the ground, lotuses growing in the sky, real dragons singing, divine phoenixes singing, purple air coming from the east, and golden clouds coming from the west.

Numerous dharma signs and mysterious gates came one after another, as if there were reverberations of divine notes and heavenly sounds, and there were also Dao scriptures singing and rumbling.

His expression was in a trance, and gradually became a little crazy, like the rain after a long drought, greedily absorbing the true meaning of the Dao.

A kind of mysterious and mysterious atmosphere enveloped him, and he only felt a void in his heart, wandering in the ocean of Tao, and entered the state of forgetting both things and me.

This is not a real practice, but a kind of baptism of the scriptures, which is so majestic that it submerges Lin Yuan in it, allowing him to truly understand what practice is.
