Chapter 2

Because of the blessing of the fire, the undead crossed the carriage and turned to the ground dragon.

A mournful cry erupted.

The ground dragon flicked its tail and almost pulled the carriage down.

The coachman immediately drew out the machete at his waist, cut off the reins and joints, and disconnected the carriage from the ground dragon.

It was raining and the road was slippery. Due to inertia, the carriage inevitably slid to a low-lying place. The wheels turned a corner and slammed straight into the big tree on the side of the road.

Aurora was thrown to pieces by the sudden impact, and her forehead must have been swollen when she knocked against the door.

Covering her forehead with one hand, and clinging to the living torch with the other, Aurora regained her footing.

The torch in the maid's hand had already been thrown out of the carriage by the impact just now, and was extinguished by the heavy rain.

The undead abandoned the dragon and rushed straight over.

In the nick of time, Aurora lit another one.

The flames rose, and the undead retreated again, returning to the dying Di Xinglong.

The undead's means of crushing creatures is not physical attacks.

They gathered around the ground dragon, obviously did not harm the ground dragon, but the ground dragon was visibly thinner, kept screaming in pain, and slowly turned into a pile of white skeletons.

The hair is creepy.

Just looking at the painful appearance of Di Xinglong, Aurora felt unprecedented fear of this way of death.

She has no memory of the original owner, and everything is very passive.

She tries to call the system.

The system is not responding.

Aurora's feet seemed to be frozen in place.

She is just an ordinary person who once suffered from a mild heart disease. If there is an expert in mathematics, physics and chemistry, she may be able to find another solution from a pile of bottles and jars.

The three of them stood under the eaves of the car, the maid was sobbing, the driver was very quiet, the three deep frowns on his forehead and the tight jawline betrayed his nervous heart.

"Miss, I will lead them away, you guys run away." The coachman turned his head and said to the two weak women.

He is a knight who swears allegiance to Aurora. Even if Aurora does not have a title, he will be her protective umbrella. This is his promise to the former Viscount.

Now Aurora doesn't know the status of the coachman as a knight. In fact, knowing or not can't change the upcoming ending.

She said lightly: "We can't escape."

If one had to be picked among them to escape, it would be the coachman who survived with the greatest record.

The two slow-moving women couldn't run far at all.

And their two-legged ordinary people can't run n-legged undead, let alone more than one undead.

Aurora saw it just now, the undead only touched the ground dragon once, and the ground dragon lost its mobility, and the method of slamming east and west did not work.

After the undead completely devoured the ground dragon, they slowly approached the fire.

The maid took a breath, turned her head to look at the carriage, found a cloak among the scattered items, and wrapped it around Aurora.

"Miss, even if you die, you must die beautifully."

Aurora looked down at the corner of her skirt, a large piece was missing, which was indeed unsightly.

She smiled wryly, but her heart felt warm again, these two were loyal servants.

"Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..."

Being chased by the undead didn't make Aurora panic, she was about to die, and Aurora didn't lose her composure either.

But get married?
She is married?

No, the original body is married?

If she didn't die, wouldn't it mean that there was a husband whom she had never met?

Didn't it mean that she might want to sleep with someone else's husband?

The strong and healthy heart in Aurora's chest suddenly couldn't bear it.

Aurora took a deep breath and clenched her nails into her palm.

Her mind turned rapidly, and she used the ignition skill again to ignite the last torch to drive away the undead who tried to get close.

The undead lingered around, salivating, quietly watching the three dying.

I don't know how much time has passed, and the task is not timed. Aurora feels that the task has lost its meaning. She is trembling from head to toe as if soaked in ice water.

Just when the light of the torch was about to go out, Aurora reluctantly lit the fire again, but this time, she had a splitting headache and retched in pain.

Aurora leaned limply on the maid and couldn't hold back the slip.

"Miss, ma'am..."

The maid hurriedly hugged him.

What the maid said, Aurora couldn't hear. She turned her head and saw a group of silver cavalry galloping across the black woodland from far to near.

It's good to see hallucinations before dying.

Aurora closed her eyes and passed out.

Aurora mistook the hallucinated silver cavalry for real.

The leading cavalry was Aurora's fiancé, the current Baron Miguel Taylor. When he arrived, he saw the girl with a pale face, surrounded by two people, and she was still alive.

In this life, he has caught up.

Miguel commanded the iron cavalry to scatter the undead. The equipment on their bodies had sacred attributes, and they were not afraid of low-level undead. In just a few breaths, the undead were wiped out.

After the enemy was completely wiped out, Miguel's tall figure stood in front of the three of them, with awe-inspiring aura around him.

The maid shrank her neck, saw the badge on the cavalry equipment through the faint light of the fire, and recognized it as the emblem of the young lady's husband's family.

She immediately said bravely, "Excuse me, is it the Baron or the baron's knight? Miss has a fever, can you take her back for treatment first?"

Miguel looked down at the girl in the arms of the maid.

The maid was afraid that he would not agree, her legs went limp, and she was about to kneel down and beg.

Miguel took out the fur coat from the space ring, wrapped it around the girl's slender body, put one hand under her armpit, and lifted her knee joint with the other. The princess hugged the wildebeest on the ground.

Acting decisively and quickly, he ordered his men to arrange Aurora's maid and coachman, turned around and rode on the wildebeest, tied the girl in front of him, and put a hood on her to keep out the wind and rain.

Hurry up and rush back to Baron Fort.

In the middle of the night, the servants of the Baron Fort still have vigil.

The young master, dressed in stars and wearing moons, came back with his fiancée.

The night watchman immediately wakes up two maidservants to serve the future mistress, and the small castle that fell into darkness wakes up in the middle of the night, and candlelight is lit in many windows.

Miguel invited a retired pastor to treat the girl, and the maid changed the girl with high fever into dry clothes.

The retired priest was old and moved slowly, from waking up to Baron Castle.

After a delay, Aurora had a fever.

The maids could only take turns applying cold towels to her to cool down.

Until the two moons in the sky sink, and the warm sunshine shines into the window.

Aurora opened her eyes and felt that there was a soft bed under her body, she was not dead, she was saved.

She tilted her head, and what she saw was the face of an elderly man, who was wearing a white robe, and the freckles on his cheeks were very pleasing, thick and connected, like a black spot painted on.

Seeing her wake up, the old man smiled kindly and said, "You burned all night. Fortunately, no undead came across it at that time. Otherwise, with my magic cultivation, I'm afraid I can't dispel the dead energy for you."
