I am immortal.

Chapter 10 Cultivation

Chapter 10 Cultivation
Qi Wuhuo sat at the stone table, and the old man made him drink a cup of tea.

When the tea fragrance enters the mouth, I feel that it is divided into two strands, one is reassuring and calming, and the other penetrates into the center of the eyebrows, so that the original disperses, and the splitting headache gradually eases, and the pain is no longer as painful as before.

The old man waited until his state recovered, and whispered:
"Tao produces Qi from nothingness, and Yin and Yang are produced from Qi."

"Yin and Yang recombine the three treasures, and the three treasures are reborn and all things prosper."

"Keep in mind that this is the general outline of my lineage..."

Qi Wuhuo asked, "General outline?"

The old man stroked his beard: "Overall all dharmas, use one to rule all, and this is the general outline."

"Although this is not a method of cultivation, it is still pointing to the Dao."

"You need to keep it in mind, lest you make a mistake in the future, this life cannot make up for it, so I will let you know in advance."

"As for teaching you..."

The old man stroked his beard and pointed at Qi Wuhuo:

"The way of the world, one life is two, two is three, and three is all things."

"Heaven and earth are divided into yin and yang. Yin and yang are in the body, the heart is the nature, and the kidney is the life; the heart is separated to be yang, and the kidney is the barrier to be yin. Yin and yang give birth to three qi, which are the three treasures of essence, energy and spirit."

"And practitioners need to know this good fortune, and then practice it against it."

"Returning three into two, turning two into one, and one into Tao."

"The starting point of my Daoist Kungfu is [Ming Gong]. The three elements of essence, energy and spirit are brought to the limit of life, and then merged into Yin and Yang. The avenue, from existence to non-existence."

"Your mind has been nourished very well, and then you can nourish your essence, and then turn it into gas."

Qi Wuhuo asked, "Qi, do you mean the breathable Qi?"

The old man smiled and shook his head, "Breathing? Wrong."

"Three grades of medicine, spirit and essence, in a trance, in a trance."

"This spirit is not a sympathetic spirit."

"Air is not breathing air."

"God is not a thinking God."

"That's the acquired method."

"In my Taoism, qi is acquired, and qi is innate. The two words have the same pronunciation, but their meanings are completely different in Daozang."

"Cultivation is qi, and breath adjustment is qi."

"Refining and transforming qi is the way of warriors, while refining and transforming qi is the key of Taoism."

"Qi is the mother of elixir, and this elixir means harmony, two in one life, three in two, and finally returning to the realm of nothingness."

The old man said that he only taught one trick, but because in the practice and orthodoxy, a poem may be a lineage, and each word has its own meaning, so it actually explained the basics carefully.

"The first stage of Taoist practice is for [Three Talents], also known as [Planting Three Flowers]."

"Whether it is cultivating the Tao or becoming an immortal, the first step cannot be avoided. People have energy and spirit, and they need to cultivate to the extreme of their own body, to achieve full essence, full spirit, and full energy."

Pointing at Qi Wuhuo's upper, middle and lower dantians, the old man said:

"It's called Quan because you have experienced all kinds of things in this world, such as sickness, staying up late and sitting for a long time, injury, and your spirit will inevitably be damaged, and it is not in a state of full strength."

"This step needs to be recuperated slowly."

"It takes a long time to make it."

"When you reach the consummation of spirit, energy, and spirit, you can gather to form the innate qi, and even if you fail to gather into the innate qi, you can still live to the limit of human life span."

Qi Wuhuo asked, "Life limit?"

"Yes, due to their different bodies, they will be between 120 and 130 years old. After that, they will have no worries, no diseases, no pains, and die in a dream. When they die, they still have black hair, good teeth, and no wrinkled skin. That’s why it’s called [full].”

"You can live a long life."

Qi Wuhuo thought deeply, and said: "Then if you can't reach the state of full essence, full energy, and full god, then go to gather, is it okay?"

The old man smiled and said: "It has been difficult to practice the Dao for a long time, and there will naturally be people who want to take advantage of the loopholes. Most of them have cultivated one of the spirits to a very high level, and then attached the other two to it. You can cross the realm of the three talents in a short period of time and breed supernatural powers."

"Fast is fast, but it cannot last."

"Maybe in a short period of time, you can be proud of one side and call yourself a real person, but the more you practice, the disadvantages of this tricky method will become more prominent. Maybe it won't be able to overcome it in 30 or 50 years."

"That's why it's called the side door, heresy."

"Although there are many kinds of supernatural powers, the life expectancy may not be much better than that of serious practitioners at the stage of Sancaiquan, and may even be lower. Many practitioners left this place because they couldn't bear the loneliness and the temptation to appear in front of others. A road that ends in regret."

"Wuhuo, you have to remember..."

The old man pointed to the nearby trees:
"Our purpose is to practice, the state, just like this tree, which will take root more and more at the bottom and extend upward; while many supernatural powers and methods are just the fruits that are produced during the practice."

"Blindly chasing supernatural powers is like a tree using all its nutrients to grow fruit. If so, how can it grow into a skyscraper giant tree?"

"You monks, you should remember it, beware of it, and be careful!"

The old man stroked his beard and said: "Okay, sit here cross-legged now, I will pass on to you a mantra of exhaling and nourishing qi, first nourish the acquired qi enough, in the future you can gather and become the innate qi, and only then can you reach the peak." The realm of gathering three flowers."

Qi Wuhuo sat cross-legged as the old man said, with his five hearts turned to the sky.

Then the old man pointed his finger at his dantian, and the blood and flesh in Qi Wuhuo's body circulated, and a trace of breath was born naturally, and then existed in the body along with his body's blood, the old man said: "Contemplate with the spirit."

"Remember, the three characters of spirit, energy and spirit are different from ordinary people's eyes."

"In the Taoist classics, the meaning is that the pure and unmixed is the essence, the fusion of the blood is the qi, and the activity of the spirit is the god."

"It's for Yuanjing, Yuanqi, Yuanshen."

"Yuan Zhe, the original one, means innate possession."

"The core of everything is the primordial spirit."

"Use the spirit to control the qi, use the spirit to refine the essence, and remember the method of circulation."

The old man's transmission of merit is not based on words.

Instead, he directly led Qi Wuhuo to understand what the Dao circulated, and then Qi Wuhuo's body would naturally know how to keep the mind, how to visualize, and how to operate and adjust breath.

Qi Wuhuo's mind followed the old man's guidance.

The old man said: "Warrior practice, swallowing meat, strong body, qi and blood are tyrannical, naturally feel the flow of breath, flow to the extreme, with the tyrannical body, feed back the huge soul, stimulate the mind and spirit. But my line of cultivation is completely different. "

"With a weak heart, the mind is concentrated, the mind is concentrated and the qi is concentrated, and the qi is concentrated and the spirit is born."

"Using one to produce ten thousand, taking ten thousand to return to one, all are my [gods]."

Qi Wuhuo fell into a state of trance.

And at this moment, his mind is strong, and he is extremely smooth in drawing and circulating the breath. Before he knows it, the golden crow is falling to the west, the jade rabbit is rising to the east, and the world is in a daze, and it has already fallen into the night.

When the snow melts in winter, it is far colder than when it snows.

On winter nights, even the watchmen had to wear thick clothes and use spirits to keep out the cold, but Qi Wuhuo just sat outside in a slightly thicker cloth.

It's cold and windy outside, but there's a hot current inside the body.

Water and fire intertwine inside and outside, while God is above it, overlooking all this happening, the breath is long and peaceful, gradually returning to calm, and it is naturally one with the mountains, rivers, and trees.

Man is a part of heaven and earth.

Before the sun rose, there was the sound of birds in the sky.

A sparrow landed in the yard and pecked at the grass, jumped on the young man's shoulder, and then turned around to comb the feathers with his beak. The young man's black hair was slightly drooping, stained with morning dew, and his eyes opened naturally. When a big sun rises from the sky, purple air rises.

The young man sits under the plum tree, bathing in the sun, with a quiet temperament.

Birds preen their feathers on their shoulders.

Everything is quiet.

The old man stroked his beard and asked with a smile, "Can you get it?"
