Chapter 23

On the weekend afternoon, Locke and the Swanson family drove to Sheldon's house for a visit.

"Speaking of which, what are your plans for the moment, what are you going to play with little Sheldon?" Locke asked Peggy casually.

"I don't have any plans. It might be interesting to see what he has prepared."

Although Peggy and Locke got along pretty well at school, they are not considered playmates of the same age. As a super genius, she can't stand "stupid earthlings" most of the time, but she is not obvious because of her high EQ. Just show it.

Sheldon's appearance gave Peggy some small surprises, so she also had some expectations for meeting Sheldon.

"Perhaps you can visit his little train," Locke said.

"You knew Sheldon before?" Peggy heard something from Locke's words.

"The orphanage I was in before was in the small town of Sheldon's family. Sheldon is quite famous in the town. I've heard a lot of rumors about him."

"Not to mention that Sheldon is so weak that even chickens can run after him." Locke said, "The funniest thing is that little Sheldon was bullied by a neighbor girl who is three years younger than him."

"Really? Being bullied by a little girl who is three years younger than him?" Peggy suddenly became interested.

"That's right, he also studied judo for a period of time, unfortunately..." Locke shrugged. When he saw this passage in the TV series, he really thought it was very funny.

Accompanied by little Sheldon's gossip along the way, a group of people came to the gate of Cooper's house.

With the sound of the doorbell, Mary opened the door very happily: "Welcome, everyone is welcome to be guests."

Mary was obviously well-dressed, with a bright smile on her face, she led the group into the house, and at the same time said loudly: "Shelley, they are here."

At the same time, little Sheldon, who was in his own room, was constantly adjusting his beloved bow tie in front of the mirror, but his heart was full of entanglements.

What he is most proud of is his genius IQ. No one around him can compare with him, making him think that except for scientific giants such as Einstein, Newton, and Hawking, no one on this earth can really communicate with him.

But the point that he is most proud of now was broken after meeting Peggy a few days ago, and the key point is Peggy.

After all, Locke is much older than him, so Sheldon can comfort himself. Locke is not the youngest super genius, but Peggy is a month younger than him, but he is often able to say that he is speechless. Performance is also better than him.

"Huh, it's started." Hearing Mary's shout, Little Sheldon suppressed the unhappiness in his heart, took a deep breath, held his head high, and walked into the living room with a stiff expression.

"Hi, Sheldon." Seeing Sheldon, Peggy gave him a friendly hug directly.

After a brief introduction, the Marys and the Swansons sat in the living room and chatted together. Erica was played in the backyard by Little George and Michelle, and Locke and Peggy came to Little Sheldon's room.

"Since we're going to spend a few hours together, I've listed some activities to keep us occupied." Little Sheldon remained expressionless throughout, as if reading from a script:

"Let's start by visiting my room, and then play board games. If you have time, you can take a look at my model train, but you are absolutely not allowed to touch it..."

"I didn't expect it to be similar to what Locke said." After confirming Little Sheldon's attitude, Peggy felt a little boring, and glanced at Locke standing beside her.

She really wanted to be friends with little Sheldon, but little Sheldon was really not likable like this.

Fortunately, after a boring introduction, Little Sheldon suggested playing chess, so the two chatted while playing chess.

"Do you really believe in the multiverse theory?"

"Convinced, this is the most beautiful reading of quantum mechanics."

"So, do you really think there are infinite parallel universes?"

"Stephen Hawking believes, so I believe too."

"If there are infinite parallel universes, then I think this theory is equally stupid in all parallel universes."

Peggy was playing chess while guiding little Sheldon to chat. Locke, who felt a little bored, couldn't help interjecting at this time: "Speaking of which, I believe in the existence of parallel universes. Otherwise, how can I explain my own rebirth."

The latter half of the sentence was said by Locke himself in his heart. Little Sheldon, who was originally angry, was very happy to hear this sentence: "Thank you, but why are you still in high school?"

Although Little Sheldon thought in his heart that Locke's IQ was not as good as his, but he was able to quickly find out and correct his negligence for a while, and he was obviously not an ordinary "stupid earthling".

"I'm an orphan, but I don't have parents to take care of me, so that I can have the opportunity to skip a grade." Locke took out Peggy's statement.

"That's really a pity." Shelton nodded, feeling that Locke looked more pleasing to the eye.

Peggy said at this time: "It's very interesting to be with you. I can't talk about this with anyone else at school except Locke. What about you?"

"Same."

"Have you ever wished you were like everyone else?" Peggy said.

Little Sheldon thought for a while, then shook his head decisively: "Not at all."

Peggy glanced at Locke with a smile: "I really enjoy the feeling of being smarter than others."

Hearing this, little Sheldon suddenly had a good impression of Peggy, feeling that Peggy and him were the same kind of people, and the hostility in his heart dissipated a lot: "Me too."

But it didn't take long...

"General!" Peggy smiled happily: "You lost, haha, it seems that I am the smartest!"

At this moment, Little Sheldon was completely confused. After losing to Peggy in the university classroom last time, he also did some psychological construction.

Because of the different family conditions, he went to public high school, while Peggy went to private high school. The resources were not equal, and he was unable to access a lot of knowledge for the time being.

Books in the United States are very expensive, and professional books often cost tens or hundreds of dollars. The educational resources of public high schools and private high schools are most intuitively reflected in the richness of library collections.

But playing chess is completely a competition of intelligence. Peggy, who is a month younger than him, beat him, and triumphantly declared that she is the smartest, which made little Sheldon completely unacceptable.

The anger he had suppressed before could no longer be suppressed, and Little Sheldon finally broke out, directly overturning the chessboard.

Peggy was also taken aback when she saw his reaction. She glanced at Locke and saw that he was watching a play, then she smiled and said to Sheldon, "Another game?"

"No problem!" The unconvinced little Shell stared at Peggy for a while, and then agreed. He was really unconvinced, he was a super genius, the smartest.

But playing chess with emotions, obviously fell into Peggy's routine, unable to guarantee a normal mind, which affected his performance, and then he lost the second game, which made little Sheldon close to autism.

Seeing this, Locke was also worried that Little Sheldon would explode directly. Having seen The Big Bang, he was unwilling to deal with such a Sheldon, so he changed the subject in a timely manner:
"Speaking of which, Sheldon, I'm very interested in your train, how about telling me about it."

"I don't have time." Little Sheldon refused angrily.

Glancing at Peggy, Locke shrugged his shoulders, grabbed Peggy and said to Sheldon: "It seems that you still have something to do, let's go outside the house."
