Chapter 27 It's a joke, right?

"You look exactly like your father."

The cabin was shaking with the waves, Jack Sparrow was holding a bottle of rum in his hand, and there were bacon and cheese in front of him. If his feet were not shackled, there would be two uniformed soldiers with guns standing on both sides. He didn't look like a prisoner at all.

"Ling King Turner, a good man, a good pirate, and it's been ten years in a blink of an eye."

Standing opposite him, William Turner looked at the strange pirate with sharp eyes, trying to distinguish the truth from the other's words from the other's expression.

"You said you were the captain of the Black Pearl? My father was a crew member of the Black Pearl?" William Turner repeated Jack's words and asked, "How do you prove it?"

"Hey." Jack took a sip of rum and swayed, causing the shackles on his feet to clank and jingle: "I can't prove it, boy, the point is, are you willing to believe that your father is A pirate."

"And the blood of pirates flows in your body."

William frowned, always feeling that the other party's tone meant something else.

"Where is he? The crew you spoke of."

"Who knows? I haven't seen the Black Pearl for ten years." Jack shook his head. "The last thing I heard about King Lace was that he was tied to a cannon and sank into the sea—"

William's complexion changed: "Is he dead?"

"Who knows?" Jack leaned back and spread his hands, "He'd better be dead, otherwise, I really can't imagine what will happen to him now."

Jack shuddered: "Alone in the deep sea that no one can find, can't breathe, can't move, can't be considered alive, can never die, can only count the time in solitude, until eternity—— "

"Just imagining that situation is driving me crazy."

For a moment, William couldn't understand what this crazy pirate was talking about. People who are sunk in the sea will die. This is a very simple truth.

"My father once sent me a gold coin, a pirate gold coin." William skipped the subject and said, "If you were the captain of the Black Pearl, you should know that gold coin, right?"

"That's an Aztec gold coin, child, the cursed gold coin of the island of the dead, anyone who takes the gold coin will be cursed, just like the crew of the Black Pearl, just like your father, can't survive, please You can't die." Jack picked up a fork, picked up a piece of bacon, put it in front of his nose and sniffed it: "This thing smells funny."

"I hate the food in England."

William directly knocked down his fork, rushed over to grab his collar, and said angrily, "Pirate, I've had enough of your nonsense, you haven't seen my father at all, and you haven't even seen the black man." Pearl."

"I'm crazy to ask a pirate."

He flung Jack away in frustration.

Jack smoothed the folds of his chest innocently, and looked at the fallen salt pork: "It seems that you don't like English food either."

"Obviously everyone was not having a good chat." Tang Sen, who had been standing aside, clapped his hands to attract the attention of the two: "By the way, I admit that salt pork is not delicious, but it is best not to waste food."

"Mr. Tang, this man is full of lies. What he said has no value at all." William pointed to Jack: "What curse, what immortal, he thought I was a three-year-old child?"

"Even if my father is really a pirate, I believe what Mr. Tang said more than his nonsense, Mr. Tang, didn't you say that you have seen a pirate named William Turner? "

"." Tang Sen was silent for a moment: "That's right."

"That's right, he wasn't tied to a cannon and sank into the bottom of the sea, and he couldn't be cursed by some gold coins." William was relieved: "At least, he's still alive."

"It's actually not considered alive." Tang Sen coughed lightly: "The last time I saw him, he was on Davy Jones' boat."

"Davy Jones?!!!"

William and Jack Sparrow exclaimed at the same time.

William's exclamation was full of surprise, while Jack's exclamation was obviously more of fear. The name made him shrink back into the chair.

"Mr. Tang—" William broke down a bit: "I hope that the Davy Jones you are talking about is not the legendary story about the Dutchman who controls the North Sea sea monster and flies the ghost ship and is responsible for ferrying the dead."

"...Unfortunately, I am speaking of this Davy Jones."

"Oh, my father has now changed from a crew member of the Black Pearl to a crew member of the Flying Dutchman." William only felt that it was so ridiculous that he wanted to laugh, "So, does he still have blue-faced fangs, three eyes, and five eyes?" Arm, the daily job is to transport the dead to the legendary underworld?"

"That's not true." Tang Sen spread out his hands: "Compared to Davy Jones, I think he looks pretty normal except for some mussels growing on his face."

William looked at Townsend, then at Jack, opened his mouth and smiled, "Ha, this is a joke, isn't it?"

"I don't think this is a joke, Mr. Turner." Townsend sighed. "I saw it with my own eyes. I was attacked by Davy Jones and I ended up living in Port Royal."

William was dumbfounded.

The image that Townsend has built up over a long period of time makes even the most absurd things out of his mouth credible.

"Relax, Mr. Turner." Townsend said in relief, "At least, we are not sure if that is your father."

"Tom, Mr. Turner needs to calm down. Take him to something to eat and have a rum bar."

Tom led the distraught William out of the room.

Townsend looked at the chair where he was sitting, his eyes kept looking around, and it was Captain Jack Sparrow who looked nervous.

"What are you worried about, Captain Sparrow?"

He picked up the salt pork on the ground and put it back on Jack's dinner plate: "Your agreement with Davy Jones hasn't come yet."

"Yes, thank God. No!" Jack suddenly raised his head and looked at Tang Sen in disbelief: "How do you know this? No one knows about this matter except me and Davy Jones."

"you guess?"

Townsend pushed the dinner plate forward: "Enjoy your dinner, Captain Sparrow, you will be busy soon."

"I have always reserved the position of the helmsman for you."

Walking out of the room where Sparrow was held, Townsend passed the long cabin and followed the stairs to the deck, just in time to see a soldier coming up.

"Mr. Tang, there is a boat coming from the Intrepid."

He whispered: "Using the binoculars to confirm, it is Captain Locke, the deputy captain of the Intrepid, and the adjutant of Commodore Norrington."

"Should we back off?"

"Stay as it is, sir." Tang Sen patted him on the shoulder calmly: "You are my crew now."

"Go ahead and let Captain Locke come to see me. I think he should have brought a message from Commodore Norrington."
