Chapter 6 The Brother Who Jumped Out
Rusty stair handrails, yellowed and peeled walls, and switch boxes covered with small advertisements.

Childhood memories flooded back.

Jiang Niannian climbed to the third floor in one breath, and saw her mother wearing an apron, holding a spatula in her hand, standing at the door watching carefully.

Time has left traces on her face, the flesh on her cheeks is a little slack, and the corners of her eyes are slightly drooping.

However, the only thing that remains the same is her gentle eyes.

Jiang Niannian approached carefully, her eyes were already red, she bit her lower lip, and put her hands on her side.

"Mom~" Her trembling voice awakened the ecstatic mother.

Liang Yu's tired eyes glowed with water, she nodded silently, and the spatula in her hand fell to the ground with a 'clang'.

She hugged her daughter tightly: "My darling, mom thought it was a dream."

She was also worried that she had heard it wrong, but what mother would forget her daughter's voice?

Just when Jiang Niannian and Liang Yu were in the vortex of reunion, a small head poked out from the room.

He has short and fluffy hair, round grape eyes, a small and straight nose bridge, and two fleshy hands clasping the door frame.

"Mom, who is she?" The little boy's voice was soft and soft.

Jiang Niannian wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes with the back of his hand, only then did he see Liang Yu pull out a handsome little boy who was somewhat similar to himself from the room.

"Chengcheng, call me sister."

The little boy was a little shy, and timidly hid behind Liang Yu, only poking out two big grape eyes occasionally, quickly glanced at Jiang Niannian and then retracted.

It turned out that when Liang Yu divorced six years ago, she was already one month pregnant, and she had suffered a lot in order to give birth to this child.

I was pregnant and did housekeeping, and I even did some handicrafts when I got home at night. I fainted at home several times because I couldn’t keep up with my nutrition.

"Mom, why didn't you tell Dad about this." Jiang Niannian is not worth it for her mother, at least if she tells this, her 'trench' and inhuman father will at least give him a generous alimony.

Liang Yu closed the kitchen door, and the 'buzzing' sound of the range hood was a bit loud. She put the onion, ginger and garlic into the oil pan, and smiled wryly, "Who knows if he will snatch Cheng Cheng away again?"

Now, Cheng Cheng is her life, if she is taken away again, then her life will be hopeless.

Jiang Niannian lowered her head.

Liang Yu didn't want to disturb the family's elegance because of this incident, so she gently pushed Jiang Niannian out of the kitchen, and then shouted to Chengcheng who was piling up wood in the living room, "Liang Chengcheng, help mom take out the chicken legs from the refrigerator." Yo~"

"Here we come." Chengcheng responded to Liang Yu's every request, and it was obvious that Liang Yu taught him very well. Although the clothes he was wearing were not famous brands, they were clean.

The little guy opened the bottom drawer of the refrigerator, took out the frozen chicken legs, walked into the kitchen, and asked in a low voice, "Mom, don't you save the chicken legs for the festival?"

Liang Yu smiled and took the chicken leg from his son, and placed it in the prepared ice water.

"Silly boy, my sister is back. Of course, I have to take out the best things. Go and see how many small dried shrimps are left in the refrigerator from last time. Let's make winter melon dried shrimp soup."

Standing outside the kitchen, Jiang Niannian heard a few words, and seeing Cheng Cheng push the door and come out of the kitchen, she immediately sat down on the sofa in the living room.

The girl scratched her hands, and her eyes fell on Liang Chengcheng who was rummaging through the refrigerator. His white face was filled with cold air, and his two little hands kept pawing and tugging at the full refrigerator to find something.

"Mom, you don't need to cook too many dishes, I can't eat much." Jiang Niannian looked at the six dishes of fragrant dishes on the table, and the time seemed to go back to six years ago.

Every day when she comes home from school, she will sweat profusely from running, and when she rushes into the house, she will smell the strong fragrance of vegetables, just like what she sees.

Jiang Niannian stood motionless by the dining table.

Two small hands on one side put a bowl of white rice in front of her, and Cheng Cheng's voice was as thin as a mosquito: "Sister, eat~"

Although Jiang Niannian can't quite accept the existence of this little guy, he is so obedient that it's hard not to like him.

At the dining table, Cheng Cheng would put the chicken legs into his mother's bowl first, and then eat the rice by himself. Every time he saw that there was no food in his mother's bowl, he would go to pick up vegetables for her as soon as possible.

"Chengcheng, you eat it yourself, why do you always give it to your mother?"

Jiang Niannian saw that none of Cheng Cheng's children ate much food, so she didn't dare to pick up more food, but Liang Yu kept picking up food for her.

"Stuttering, these are home-cooked dishes, are you not used to them?" Liang Yu was worried that she might not be used to the food at home, so she picked up her phone and asked, "How about I order you a takeaway?"

"No, no, no, I'm used to eating. I've wanted this for a long time. Mom, I don't need to order takeaway." Jiang Niannian picked up the bowl and ate the rice with big mouthfuls. In order not to arouse her mother's suspicion, she scooped up two spoonfuls of wax gourd and dried shrimp soup, and it was done. Two big bowls of rice.

After eating, Jiang Niannian couldn't bend her whole waist.

She rushed to wash the dishes, but Liang Yu refused to let her: "If you want to help me, you can teach your brother to do his homework."

That's the only thing she can do.

The dim lamp was on the desk, and Jiang Niannian looked around the whole room. It used to be her room, but now it was full of sundries and some discarded books.

Isn't there another guest room? How do you pile up all the sundries in this house?

Just now she saw that the door of the guest room was locked, why should it be locked separately?

In the room, the only two-story wooden double bed can still faintly see the shadow of the past, but the upper bed is also full of a lot of sundries.

"Why don't you turn on the light? It's not good for your eyes." Jiang Niannian glanced at the dim lamp on the desk.

Liang Chengcheng was sitting in front of the desk, his eyebrows and eyes were straight, and he looked up at her after hearing the sound, and only after a while did he utter two words: "Save electricity."

The girl pursed her lips and nodded, saying nothing more.

Liang Chengcheng is now in the top class of kindergarten, and most of his homework is addition and subtraction.

Jiang Niannian knew that most children would inevitably use their fingers as tools for addition and subtraction, but Liang Chengcheng didn't.

He does a math problem almost every 1.5 seconds.

When Jiang Niannian saw that the white erasers he put aside were all square, he couldn't help muttering in his heart: Isn't this kid a genius?
Just when Jiang Niannian thought he was going to leave the desk without any sense of participation, Liang Chengcheng suddenly raised his clear eyes and said softly, "Sister, I don't know how to do these two questions, please teach me."

The girl immediately sat up straight, threw herself in front of the little guy's clean homework, and saw the last two extremely simple addition and subtraction problems.

Uh……

She instantly understood that this little guy was taking care of her feelings, worried that she would be embarrassed and bored if she didn't feel a sense of participation.

Although, Jiang Niannian's heart was still warm.

She rubbed the little guy's head, pinched his fleshy face, and smiled at the corner of her mouth: "Do you want to eat ice cream? My sister will take you to buy it."

Anyway, Liang Chengcheng's mind is that of a five-year-old boy, how could he not be moved by ice cream?

He quickly finished the last two questions in the homework, and then looked at Jiang Niannian with some hesitation: "But my mother won't let me eat."

"Mom didn't let me eat it before, but I still know how to eat it." In the blink of an eye, Jiang Niannian, Liang Chengcheng had already moved from the desk to the door.

He bared a row of white teeth: "Shall we eat now?"
